Renata was rushed to the emergency department for immediate care.
Alvaro and Sanaya approached Mr. J, who was waiting outside.
"How is she doing?" Alvaro asked Mr. J.
The man with the dark eyes looked at Alvaro expressionlessly, then turned his gaze to Sanaya, who was crying uncontrollably.
"Why are you here? Did you investigate the restaurant that caused Miss Angelica's condition?" Instead of answering, Mr. J posed a question in return.
"I..." Alvaro was unable to finish his sentence.
"Why are you always so inept at doing anything, Alvaro?"
Alvaro clenched his fists. It wasn't that he didn't want to investigate the restaurant, but he already knew who the culprit was. However, he chose to keep silent.
There was one reason that compelled him to cover up the truth. Now, all he hoped for was Renata's well-being. If something happened to Renata, he would never forgive himself.
Then, Mr. J signaled his bodyguard with a hand gesture.
"What do you need, sir?"
"Shut down that restaurant, investigate whether this incident was intentional," Mr. J commanded.
"Right away, sir."
At the same moment, Sanaya grabbed the back of Alvaro's shirt. She appeared panicked.
Meanwhile, Alvaro wore a deeply troubled expression.
Click.
The emergency room door opened, revealing a man dressed in scrub suits with a stethoscope around his neck.
"How is she, Doc?" Alvaro quickly approached the doctor.
"The allergic reaction she suffered doesn't lead to serious consequences, fortunately, because she received first aid and was immediately taken to the hospital," the doctor answered.
It seemed the first aid performed by Mr. J had indeed helped Renata.
"Ah, thank goodness," Alvaro sighed with relief.
"What's she allergic to, Doc?" Mr. J asked next.
"Strawberries. When she consumes strawberries, her immune system can produce a harmful reaction to specific proteins found in them."
Mr. J paused, pondering the doctor's words. He clearly remembered that the food Renata had eaten contained no strawberries. How, then, could this have happened?
"Don't worry, she has been given medical treatment and injections to counteract the allergic reaction. When it comes to allergies, the primary thing is to identify and prevent. Allergies can't be cured unless they naturally subside with age or through desensitization," the doctor continued.
Mr. J nodded.
"Thank you, doctor," Alvaro said.
The doctor left, and Mr. J entered the emergency room followed by Alvaro. However, Sanaya quickly grabbed Alvaro's arm.
"What?" Alvaro asked coldly.
"Alvaro, you have to protect me. Remember I'm pregnant. You wouldn't let me and your child go to jail, right?" Sanaya said, her eyes brimming with tears.
That was the reason behind Alvaro's silence. His wife was pregnant. He was also shocked by this revelation. Sanaya had just told him. Happy, yes, of course he was happy, but at the same time Sanaya's actions made his feelings complex.
"Just calm down."
"Then let's go, isn't Sister Angel all right now?" Sanaya said, pulling on a distracted Alvaro.
"You go!" Alvaro snapped back, forcefully taking his hand away from Sanaya.
"Why are you harsh to me? You shouldn't be harsh to a pregnant woman."
Tears. Yes, that was always Sanaya's trump card.
Alvaro took a harsh breath, "Fine."
It was probably best for Alvaro to take Sanaya home first. After that, he could return to the hospital.

Inside the emergency room.
Mr. J stood next to the patient's stretcher.
Renata lay there with her eyes closed, her face visibly red, likely itching intensely. She had a breathing aid in her nose and an IV needle in the back of her hand.
The girl who normally fought back was now truly weak.
Mr. J gently took Renata's hand into his own.
"Get well soon, that's an order."
***
Renata furrowed her brow, then opened her eyes.
The first thing she saw was the blue sky with a few clouds. She then sat up and saw a carefully arranged field of tulips.
Renata was stunned by the beauty of the various kinds of tulips in the vast field with the grandeur of a hilly backdrop, and an area covered in snow.
"Where am I?" Renata asked herself.
There wasn't a single person in sight, only her.
Renata then set off, walking through the seemingly endless field of tulips. The gentle breeze carried the rich fragrance of the flowers, bringing a sense of comfort.
Wasn't she just at the restaurant and suddenly had an allergic reaction? Then...
Renata blushed as she recalled what Mr. J had done. Then she shook her head. No, this wasn't the time to think about that; what mattered now was figuring out where she was.
The melody of a violin echoed softly. Renata halted, looking around to find the source of the violin playing.
In the midst of the tulip field stood a woman in a pure white gown, with long hair, standing upright, playing a violin nestled between her shoulder and neck.
The tender sound of the violin grew clearer as Renata drew closer to the mysterious lady, with even the accompaniment of a soul-stirring vocal melody.
Who was this enigmatic woman?
*Scrape*
The woman opened her eyes at the sound of approaching footsteps, revealing deep, dark eyes.
"Have you come?" the woman said with a smile to Renata.
Renata blinked several times, feeling a sense of familiarity with the woman.
"My name is Aruna."
Renata's eyes widened in disbelief.
Yes, Renata remembered now.
This woman was the mother of her husband, Aruna Verlyta, a figure she had only seen in a framed photo.
Aruna smiled gently and shook her head, as if understanding what Renata was thinking, "No, I am Aruna Tjong."
"Mother of Jefra Tjong?" Renata said, somewhat uncertain.
"Yes."
Why was Renata meeting Mr. J's mother? Where exactly was she now?
"Are you feeling confused now?" Aruna asked with a soft laugh.
Renata nodded. Of course, she felt confused.
"That's natural, because everyone would be perplexed to find themselves in a novel and end up in a mysterious place like this."
"You know about me entering into a novel?" Renata's face showed surprise.
"Yes," Aruna confirmed, "You and Jefra have unresolved issues, so God granted your last wish to meet him again."
"W-what do you mean?"
"Your husband has also entered the novel. Jefra Tjong, he is your husband."
*Thud*
Renata's heart raced, "So he really is my Jefra?"
"Yes, his memories are locked due to a dark past from the body he now inhabits."
Tears formed in Renata's eyes. Unbeknownst to her, she had already been reunited with her husband.
"May I ask you for a favor?" Aruna requested.
"W-what?" Renata asked in return.
"Please resolve the issues of the body you occupy and live happily with Jefra afterwards. I entrust my son to you."
