Anaesthesia kicked in soon and I fell asleep

I focused and focused and focused and then finnally something popped up next to the tree..it was a sort of menu..it was translucent and glowy...it said the tree was a Chinese red pine and 20 years old...it also said the current inhabitants are a squirrel and a Tibetan rosefinch...how did you know and what is a rosefinch?...this menu pulled up a photo of this bird as soon as I thought about it...quite a cute bird to be honest...

my conclusion is that this is Eden's Google camera search.....

"does it work on people" was the first thing I asked Eden

-since this world has no type of internet based identification data I can't find out who a person is but I can recognise people who you've met before, since this world has illusionary magic it may turn out to be difficult.. and as per my knowledge, these illusionary spells are easily busted if you're strong enough..by combining this world's magic and my technology I can create something that can find out if a person is using a disguise or not.. simple things like a person's gender, height, and a 93% accurate guess of age can still be done without any problems

"cool" was the only word I could say to Eden's analysis of this world in such a short amount of time...now was when I started to realise just how dangerous Eden would be in our world....she can get access to anything that was written in soft copy... including nuclear codes, government secrets, the black Market, Eden can even mass produce those nuclear weapons with their codes...is it a good thing I brought her to this world....a world without internet... I feel like after combining this world's power and her's, she will be as strong as she could've been in our world...this new world should be glad I don't want to be a villain...........

the girl came in with a proud expression...which means it is bad news for me

"from now on, I serve the first lady...You will stay alone and without a maid now" said the maid in a proud way

"what makes you think I need you to stay here and that I need a maid to survive in my place" I really couldn't care less if she leaves or doesn't, I have Eden

the thermal scanner automatically turned on... I thought that someone was approaching then suddenly.....my eyes weren't seeing what was infront of me ..rather it was seeing from the eyes of whatever creature was on the tree....the "little birdie" probably..

the maid immediately bowed to the king and so did I.. trying to hold my laughter because of her ridiculous face was surprisingly easy since this father of mine had quite the presence...this presence had changed the whole atmosphere in my room

"explain what has happened" the king said to the maid

"your majesty, it's just that I was recently assigned to be the first lady's servent from now onwards and the second lady was not happy towards the first lady about this and accused her of stealing everything from the second lady and cursed the first lady"

so they're plan is to throw me under the bus by saying I cursed a royal member

"is that true, Eve" said the king

"father, the first thing I would like to say is that you were just outside my palace ...did you see a single maid?"

"no I did not, I was going to ask about it"

"father, all of my maids have been assigned to either work for mother or for sister, and my last maid disappeared for the past two weeks..she just came back now to tell me that she has been assigned to my sister "

"father, look at my hands, they have callouses from doing all the chores around the house... even the food that I used to cook for myself finished 3 days ago"

"are you saying that you haven't been fed for the past three days and did all the work in this palace yourself?" asked the king

"indeed father.....I even fainted this morning...mother soon came to check on me...she said that she will make my maid bring some food for me....I thought it must've been a dish that took a long time to finish since I have yet to receive the food"

"even though your mother said she will get food made for you, it still hasn't come to you?" replied the king..."Eve said her mother came soon after she fainted....there is no maid here so how did she get the news?...she doesn't even visit Eve regularly...it couldn't have been a coincidence...how dare they treat my daughter....the future of the kingdom this way " ...the king thought in his mind

I think my trick worked..he realised that my step mother had something to do with this

"Bring food to my daughter this instant!!!"

"and you imperial concubine, isn't it you who handles all the internal affairs of the palace...why does my daughter not have any maid with her...there are not even gaurds here...if something were to happen to the possible heir of the throne who would've been held responsible?!!" he said in a slightly threatening and loud voice

I like him..... I'm glad he's a good king...wont call him a good father though...this king..is just a king ...his personality tells it all...he would gladly sacrifice any of us for the country's good
