ASUSUAL THERE WERE MANY EYES THAT WATCHED US,

as we enter the corridor. Len bid his farewell and went to his class - One year ahead of us (Group III). I watched him disappearing and then turn to our class. I can say the word 'PERFECT' is an understatement when mentioning him. He is my idol. I like him a lot - not in a romantic way tho. I even consider him as my soul brother.

I saw the two idiotic friends of mine, -Alex Becker and Steve Smith- taking the seat last before one. If I sat on the last, I am sure they wouldn't let me listen class. So, I just took the next seat to the corner one.

Mrs.Jona was taking the class, when I heard someone knocking the door thrice. I just wondered who has the etiquette to knock thrice. When Mrs.Jona asked the person to come in, I saw a girl getting in, but I couldn't see her face clearly. Mrs.Jona questioned her who she was. But she didn't reply. Soon an announcement came, and Mrs.Jona left the class and that's when she looked up. And just made the time stop around me - I guess around everyone.

Everyone was gossiping around her beauty. She... she was like a fairy fallen from heaven. Her crystal blue eyes looked around and when it passed me, I couldn't control myself but stare. Her wavy hair left open - some touching her face, her thick long eyelashes blinked showing her bluish eyes - even making girls to envy her. When I tried to notice clearly, I found she has a small nose, perfect jawline and atlast my adam apple moved as I gulped seeing her rosy pink lips. The only question raised in my mind was, "How can someone be this beautiful?"

And the next second, I saw her head down. Does she felt uncomfortable with the way we stare?

"****!", I cursed when my mind answered the obvious question.

Should I apologize? But what should I say? Like, I am sorry for staring at you. Gosh! that will make things worser. Should I pretend like nothing had happened? Will it work? My thoughts got snapped out when Mrs.Jona clapped for attention.

" Hele-", before I even finish mumbling her name, Mrs.Jona said she can't speak which shocked everyone, and I am not an exception either. Gossips again started and now some stared at her in sympathy and some started commenting, "Waste of beauty!" But she didn't bothered by any of it. She just came and sat on the next empty seat.

And I saw something different in her eyes. It wasn't the glowing as it shows. I can feel the loneliness, she almost looked lifeless and I, I couldn't put it in exact words. But I can say there is much more deeper story in her life.

Wait! Wait! Why I am being concerned about her life. It has nothing to do with me and I guess I should concentrate on the class rather than her.

And then I didn't bothered to look at her, and was just listening to class and taking notes. As the class was over, I looked at steve approaching her, but she ignored him and laid on the bench. Lex and I glanced at each other as we chuckled.

"Bro.. Am I not handsome? I guess our charm is going down. That's why girls aren't looking at us!", Steve dramatically faked crying - hoping he would get her attention, but ended up getting a smack on head by Lex.

"Don't scare her!", Lex warned.

"Alright! Alright!", Steve said as he turned back.

Soon, the lunch break came, and we went to canteen to get our lunch. As we moved, the students in our front moved aside, leading us first. It's nothing new either. But there was a girl standing infront of us. When I look carefully, I found out, it was Helena. I found her glancing at her surrounding. And then she moved front and typed something and showed it to the cashier.

"Hey, can't you see..", shouted a girl grabbing almost everyone's attention, "we are leaving space for the boys to get the food first."

She was none other than Erica Davies - former best friend of us. But after she proposed me, we broke our friendship. It's not because of her feelings, but because of the lies she told. And the lies and the story, she created made an end tag to our friendship

And there, Helena didn't give a shit to her words. When she was about to pull Helena, Steve stopped her.

"Did we ever said we won't stand in a queue? If you all decided yourself, we can't do anything. I hope you will atleast try to act with some sense from the next.", steve glared as he warned her.

Erica moved back in an instant. On the other side, the cashier gave Helena the chocolate milkshake as she paid him online.

Steve suddenly turned back and asked with a proud smile plastered on his face, "So, how do you feel being protected by a hero?" unknowing to the reality, that Helena has already moved on from there and took her seat.

And when he realised it, he was totally dumbfounded, when we giggled at him.

Suddenly, Lex turned towards me and kept his one hand on my shoulder and asked, "So how do you feel being protected by a hero?" and we couldn't control ourselves as we burst into peals of laughter.
