Meet his family

Weeks turned into months, Me and Chen have been very close. I introduced him to my family and they were glad I have someone other than Aly. Actually, I am thankful to be friends with him, he’s been helping me on the subjects I’m not good at and vise versa. Projects, homework has been less stress for me since we do it together.

About Aly, she’s been avaoiding me, I don’t know why but when I even went to her house her parents told me that she was out. I rarely see her in the canteen and when I message her she doesn’t reply, not even leave it on seen.

Did I do something wrong? Is she okay? Does she have problems? Why isn’t she telling me anything?

“Val! Let’s go?” Classes ended, and for today I’ll meet Chen’s family.

“So you must be Valorie! Chen’s been talking about you! I’m Anna, Chen’s mother, feel at home, I’ll make something to eat.”

“I hope its okay, stay for dinner will you? Chen’s father haven’t meet you and he’s been eager to get to know you.”

“Oh its fine, I’ll just have to inform my mother.”

“Excuse me I’ll just go to the restroom.” -V

“Chen, do you like her?”-A

“No! She’s just a friend.”

*Mother hums*

“Guys I’m home! Oh who is this? Wait is this Valorie?” We all looked, and it was Chen’s dad.

“Hi! Its nice to meet you my name is Valorie!”

“It’s a pleasure to meet you darling, I’m Dave, Chen’s father.”

Meanwhile:

“So dear tell us how did you two meet?” -D

“In school, I was called by the principal to accompany him around the school..”

*Chat goes on*

“Honey we’re sorry for keeping you for so long, it’s already late, would it be okay to go home alone?”-A

“Why is she going alone? Chen can drop her off, right?”

“Y-yeah I can, Val lets go?”

*Walking*

“Your family is nice.”

“Yeah.”

“Oh, I almost forgot, I’ll return your notes tomorrow, thanks for lending me.” -V

“I’ll borrow your science notes I need some refreshment. I have no idea what i wrote in mine.”

*Both chuckles*

“Thank you for walking with me, i’ll see you tomorrow! Night!”
