“Hey how did it go with that Chen guy yesterday?” -A

“It went good, he finally spoke to me which is a good thing and i guess he’s a kind guy.” -V

“I’m jealous of you, you got to hear his voice what does it sound like?” -A

Val’s thoughts: His voice…it sounds calming. I wonder if he could sing, he’d put his voice into good use..

“Earth to Val!” Aly waved her hand infornt of me.

*Skip to weekend*

“Aly! Do you have anything to do today? Lets go to the theme park!” I called through the phone.

“Theme park? How bout lets do that tomorrow or next week? I’m gonna meet some of my friends from my old school today, wanna come?”

“Sure I’ll get ready in 10, pick me up will yah?”

“Yeah, i’ll head there now. Byee”

Val’s thoughts: Yess! Thank you! I won’t have to stay at home!

*Mall*

“Guys! Its nice seeing you again! By the way this is Valorie, Valorie my friends, guys this is Valorie Smith.” -A

“Its a pleasure to meet you guys!”

“I guess we need an introduction, My name is Michael, just call me Mike.”

“I’m Jane, its nice to finally meet you, Aly has been talking about you!”

Val’s Thoughts: Why do i feel like the way they introduce themselves it feels like Aly is my girlfriend or something like that.

“Hi my name is Thea, pleasure to meet you!”

“Carl”

Val’s Thoughts: Guess he isn’t the type to talk.

Okay, so since we’ve done the introduction, lets get something to eat, I’m starving!”-A

*Restaurant: eating*

“So tell us Val, is there someone your interested with? Aly tells us lots about you but she never told us about your liking.” -M

“No one, I know it might sound cliché but as much as possible I’d like to only focus on studies.” -V

“That’s impossible! No one in the world has never even like a person, even if its just 1% its still counted.” -T

“Seriously guys! She’s one in a million! She’s never liked anyone not even celebrities, idols and singers! I’ve known her since childhood!” -A

“Wait if you’ve known her since childhood, how come we’be never seen her?” -J

“Its because I never went out of the house, Aly has always been the one to come over. Wasn’t really sociable before.” -V

“That sucks..how did you live with that?” -T

“I’m used to it. Don’t be mistaken I have my own friends, its just that i was way hooked into books rather than people before.” -V

*Chats ongoing*

I excused myself to go buy somthing. While walking I saw a familiar face.

Is that Chen? Whats he doing in a mall? Should I approach him? Nah, not like you’ll have a proper conversation even if you approach him.

I countinued my way to look for a book store.

Chen’s POV

I guess I have nothing to do, I’ll just go to the mall.

*Walking*

*Suddenly saw Val with Aly and her friends*

I hurried my footsteps away from them afraid of being seen.

An hour later\~

“It’s been an hour I haven’t found something to buy..”

Chen’s thoughts: Why do I feel like someone’s staring at me?

I slowly glaced at my back and saw Val staring at me, did she notice me?

Then suddenly she walked away..

Chen’s thoughts: I know it sounds crazy but i don’t mind secretly following her..

Back to Val

“Hi may I ask where can I find the Documentary section?” I asked the staff.

I found my book, and quickly checked out.

“That will be 20 dollars.” I handed her the money and left.

What else should i get?

*Phone rings*

“Val! Can you buy drinks for us? We’re not in the restaurant anymore we’re in play station, meet us here?”

“Yeah sure no prob!”

What drinks would they like? Damn it why should I be the one to buy them drinks..

Meanwhile:

“That will be a total of 29 dollars, 7 drinks”

On the way to the play station, i always felt like someone was following me, turns out it was only Chen. Does he know that I can see him? I should probably approach him now..

“Chen! You’ve been following me for quite a while, do you need something?”

“I-i uh, no, nothing..”

Did i embarass him or what?

“Here a drink, I bought an extra one you can have it. Wanna join me and my friends?”

“Thanks and no thanks. I’ll just go, sorry for making you feel uncomfortable.”

“You kinda did but its alright, if you really dont want, I’ll get going, see you in school!”

“W-wait!”

I looked back at him, wondering what he has to say.

“Um not that i dont have friends I do, they just don’t study at the same school as I am, um, if ever, can you please be my friend?”

This is awkward…

“Uh, yeah no problem, I’ll be your friend! If there’s nothing else you need I’ll get going! Bye!”
