Encountering Nie Huaisang

Well, after a few days they didn't know where they were but ahead, there was a rough road whose end couldn't be seen by this end of the road. Wei Ying thought something and said," I'm not stopping here, let's go and see where we are exactly."

Bailu agreed but entered the contracted space or else it would be troublesome for his master to handle things.

After walking half a day Wei Ying came across a cute, little, chubby boy, crying near a tree and a few boys bullying him. He didn't came in front but instead sent a ball of spirit energy towards the boys. They got scared silly and ran away.

Wei Ying came out and asked the crying ball," Hey, Who are you and what are you doing here ?"

The sudden voice of stranger startled the little guy but he looked towards the source of voice and saw a little boy,may be as same of his age standing there. He ran towards Wei Ying while crying and said," Don't leave me here. It's gonna be dark. If you send me home now, D-Dage will scold me."

While speaking he was looking way too cute !! Wei Ying understood who this guy is, the hidden dark horse of whole story,Nie Huaisang.

So, he was in their territory. Wei Ying sighed and said,"Clear your tears and snort. Then, follow me." Nie Huaisang nodded and followed the orders.

They went a little deeper into the forest nearby, camped and cooked. Well, Nie Huaisang only watched because he had no idea how to do it.

Young master of rich clans usually don't do these things on their own after all, so Wei Ying neither asked him to do anything.

While cooking,Wei Ying asked," What's your identity ?" Nie Huaisang slapped his head and said," Aiya, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Nie Huaisang from Nie clan." He didn't tell Wei Ying his status, which was understandable after all young masters life is precious.

Wei Ying nodded and spoke," Wei Wuxian, a lone cultivator." He didn't told him about Yunmeng Jiang Clan because he knew if he told them about it, his cultivation talent can bring disaster on them.

It's better to be a lonely wolf for the time being.

After chatting for a bit,Nie Huaisang asked," Brother Wei, why don't you come home with me to meet my Dage? You are a lone cultivator, we are a sect so you may join us."

Wei Wuxian smiled and stayed silent thinking, this guy is such a deal maker at such a young age. How did those old coots of his sect didn't understand his talent ?!! A bunch of idiots!

Nie Huaisang understood his meaning. He said in a sleepy voice," Brother Wei, I'm tired. When would the food be ready ?"

Wei Wuxian smiled and came to check the food, when he lifted the lid, the brilliant aroma wafted in the air making Nie Huaisang's mouth and Bailu's mouth watering. Wei Wuxian turned and said," Arrange the plates. The food is ready."

Today, Bailu regretted being inside the contracted space. Wei Ying consoled him saying he will make it up next time when he cooks for themselves.

Nie Huaisang was ecstatic because of the aroma and waited silently for the food to be served. When they started eating, he spoke happily," The taste is way better than that of Dage!! Brother, please teach me as well."

Wei Wuxian smiled and said lightly," During meet with your Dage, I will teach you along." Nie Huaisang smiled and ate, then said good night and entered his tent.

When Wei Wuxian was done with the utensils, he came to check on Nie Huaisang. He was sleeping soundly.

Wei Wuxian turned and came out of the tent. The air around him dropped by few degrees. Suddenly a saber came flying, wishing to slash him in one stroke.

But Wei Wuxian, held it, in one hand and smiled towards the direction of attacker, giving him a creepy feeling.

Wei Wuxian disappeared from his position and when he appeared. There was only a large thump sound as if something slumped and fell. It was the attacker's corpse.

Bailu handled the aftermath. Wei Ying entered the tent to rest and Bailu kept watch the entire night.

But in reality, Wei Ying was not resting, he was cultivating. He sat crossed leg and the next morning,he advanced!! He didn't wished to but he need to get stronger if he wished to control everything here. So he let it be, he stabilized his energy in a few hours and came out.

Nie Huaisang smiled and said," Let's go home, brother Wei." Wei Ying smiled lightly but actually felt empty in his heart. Home? Does he possess home in this unfamiliar world ?

He calmed his thoughts, packed his things and they came out of the forest, back to the rough road.

Nie Huaisang remembered the way in quite good way. Wei Wuxian gave him thumbs up in his heart.

When they reached a town, Nie Huaisang said," Our Nie Clan of Qinghe, is famous mainly for our fighting abilities." He told Wei Wuxian many things about his clan inorder to let him join the clan.

Wei Ying only nodded and observed the old age town standing in front of him. What an irony, he was not a student of history, or else these things could be of some use.

After walking for half an hour, they reached the sect and went in. The guards sighed a sigh of relief because Sect leader was getting angry on everyone because of his little son. They walked through some corridors and entered the morning hall.

Nie Huaisang smiled at his father and his dage was so angry that his knuckles went white and the porcelain cup burst in his hands.

Nie Huaisang forgot his smile and he became stiff at that moment. Wei Wuxian chuckled lightly on seeing this scene, patted Nie Huaisang's head to make it look less awkward.

But instead everyone started to stare directly at him with questioning looks. This was not new for him so he was relaxed.

Nie Sect leader asked him," Huaisang Where were you? And who's this?" Nie Huaisang said," I-its not m-my fault..." His dage became angry and said," Why don't you speak clearly!! You're not a stutterer."

Huaisang flinched and his eyes became teary with a sense of humour in those little eyes.

Wei Ying understood what was going on in his head, he shook his head helplessly and said," Sorry for the intervention, I'm Wei Wuxian, a lone cultivator who found Huaisang, being bullied near the outer edges of the Nie Clan's forests. I witnessed it and helped him. But since it was getting dark we camped and rested in the forest."

The scenario became clear to everyone in the hall. But Nie Mingjue became even more angry and slammed the the table saying,"Who dares to bully my little brother!!"

Nie Huaisang again flinched and hugged Wei Ying. Wei Wuxian was startled but remained calm and patted his back, consoling him saying," Don't worry, Huaisang. Dage isn't angry on you. He won't scold you."

Huaisang hiccuped and sobbed in his arms. Wei Ying felt helpless, after all how could he leave a child crying!!

He looked helplessly towards his father and then sent a glare towards Nie Mingjue, who flinched on encountering such a glare.

He sighed and said," Don't worry, baobei. No one is gonna bully you. Just come to me if someone comes to bully you. I'm gonna break their asses!!" Everyone thought, aren't you a kid as well?!!

Nie Huaisang slept right there in his arms, feeling tired due to crying for entire hour. Wei Ying screamed in his heart god!! am I here to manage children or what?!!

Wei Ying tried to hand him over to his nanny, but he was still holding him really tight! He sighed and asked for the way towards his room.

His nanny brought him there. Wei Ying sent her away and made Huaisang sleep on the bed.

When he started to leave, Huaisang help the hem of his robe tightly and sobbed," Mother, don't leave me. Huaisang misses you."

Wei Ying's corners of mouth twitched, does her feminine personality made him think of his mother? He sighed and stroked his head saying," Don't worry, mother is right here, she won't leave you." And dropped a kiss on his forehead while adjusting himself on the other side of the bed.

Huaisang snuggled in his chest and slept soundly. Wei Wuxian was tired as well from handling him the entire morning, so he drifted into sleep as well, thinking let's handle the matters here later.
