Meeting an old acquaintance

August was walking angrily towards his seat thinking, how could his uncle do this to him. He just silently sat on his chair and Started working, ignoring the fact that someone was there, waiting for him.

CHARLIE: Senior, What happened?

AUGUST: * snaps out* don't even mention it, that old geezer found a mentor for me and who will also be our team leader.

August was late and was hurrying to the station. After entering the station we was still in hurry and while going to his seat he bumped into someone.

AUGUST: Ah, sorry. * not seeing that person's face.

CHIEF: August, you are late again, it's your third time.

AUGUST: Good morning, Chief. Sorry, I accidentally ruined my uniform in the morning, so I'm late. It won't happen again, sir.

CHIEF:*sigh* Fine, meet him your new team leader and your mentor.

That someone was just standing there looking at August and chuckling internally at his excuse.

OLD LADY: I live at XX place and I have a neighbor. He's a student. He's always at home on time but from last two days I haven't seen him, even his door is locked.

AUGUST: He might have gone somewhere with his friends.

OLD LADY: No, I don't think so, as the newspapers that are delivered at his door everyday are still there, he haven't picked them. Also If he has gone with his friends, he might have asked them not to deliver the newspapers for some days.

AUGUST: hmm, Don't worry aunty we will look into this and will do our best to find him. You may rest assured and go back.

AUGUST: Charlie, take two more officers with you and go search his house and report me immediately if you find anything.

CHARLIE: Yes, sir * salute and left*

---August also went to grab a coffee---

He was filling his cup.

AUGUST:*thinking* huh? no one is here. I guess station is quite busy now a days.* felt something hot* uff, I was in such deep thoughts that I forgot to remove my cup and it overflowed.

SAMSON:* chuckles* You are even more clumsy than I have heard.

AUGUST:*turned* Oh, sir you are here for coffee too?

SAMSON: hmm, are you hurt? it was hot.

AUGUST: heh, Ofcourse if it was hot it might have hurt, but I'm August I'm fine.

SAMSON: oh? * leans near August's ear* how about I put some ointment on it, baby.

AUGUST: huh? what did you call me sir? I think I have work to do so, I'll take my leave. * was going to leave but Samson grabbed his hand*

AUGUST: what? let go.

SAMSON: why the change in your speaking? I think someone has remembered something about past. What do you say?

AUGUST: I don't know what are you talking about . leave my hand and stay away from me.

Samson left his hand and August left from there.

SAMSON:* thinking* you are still that same little clumsy kid. I think you are still angry about past. But, it's fine I'll clear all the misunderstandings soon.
