Chapter 2: Meeting 1

“So what can you say Mr. Highmore?” Mr. Valdez asks while looking intently on me.

“Hmmm, I like it, the presentation is nice, we will invest on your company,” I said

“Thank you Mr. Highmore. Yuri, please give the contract to Mr. Highmore to sign it,” he said. “Yes, sir,” Yuri then bowed her head to Mr. Valdez then gave me the contract for signing. "Why don't we celebrate for our partnership? what do you think Mr. Highmore? How about a drink? my treat". Mr. Valdez suggested. "I decline, I already have plans for to day". I said firmly but I guess it wasn't enough for he again suggested just for me to say yes to his offer. "Oh come on Mr. Highmore don't be so cold. Okay, how about a bar? I can book a VVIP room for us with hot girls to entertain us? surely you would gonna enjoy it", He insistly offered. What an old jackass womanizer, heh if not only the benefits that I'm after to this contract I wouldn't dare to sign it, but for my love I'll do it. "I'm a married man Mr. Valdez and I love her so much, so.. I don't want to hurt her or make something that will give a crack to our relationship. If you don't have anything to say about business then, I'll take my leave." I said sternly enough for him to get my message that I don't kid around during work and most specially, I DON'T TOY MY WIFE. "R-right, I-I'm looking fo-forward to our partnership. H-have a nice day Mr. Highmore", He said stammering. Heh, know your place douchebag.

After the contract signing, I call dad immediately to prepare the private plane, for any minute we’ll go ahead to Batangas to visit my parents. 30 mins. when I arrived to my company, I immidiately went to the rooftop where my private chopper awaits me. "Are you ready to see them again?” ask dad. “Yes, I am”.

I was awaken when someone is poking me. “Wake up son we’re here already,” I open my eyes and saw dad’s face. Ohhh I didn’t notice, I fall asleep during the flight.

“Come on son the're waiting for you,” “I’m coming dad”.

I was back on my senses when someone taps my shoulder. “Dad,” I muttered

“Let’s go back to the rest house,” he offered.
