His footsteps were getting more and more haphazard and irregular. He didn't had any strength left . Nor any hope .

«-He's here ! I see him ! Send the chaser*¹ in the front line ! We have to take garbage prince to our master !»

Suddenly scream one of the soldier, pointing his finger in the direction of the young boy.

The chaser directly start to run , as fast as they could . Using their agility. Jumping on the flying book , breaking everything. They just wanted to capture the elves . So everything would be okay. To maintain the world sake , they had sacrifice person . To protect their family. Themselves .

In a last try , the young Huldre*² go even quicker , going in a hug ash tree, not feeling the pain of the heat anymore . Not feeling his hands burnt . He decided to use ... the last trace of magie left in his frail body to try to hide in the reddish leaf .

He tried at least . Suddenly, his body started... To feel even heavier . He couldn't control anything anymore . There was no strength left . The only things he could do , was think . and thinking about the burnt body of his family . Of his friends .

"Maybe my death would be better... Who am i... To be the last one ..."

That was the last thought he could have...before falling in a long sleep ...
