Jared finally sped his car toward the suburban town. He stopped at a significantly large ranch house nestled in the hills.
Jared opened the door of the house and saw Aunt July there. He carried Thea into the house and placed her on the couch.
"Where's River, Auntie?" asked Jared to Aunt July.
"Mr. River has just gone to the room with Miss Beau, sir," replied Aunt July.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK...
Jared knocked on the door of the room where his cousin and his wife were.
"Who's there??" yelled a female voice from inside the room, none other than Beau.
"It's me, Jared, open the door," shouted Jared from outside.
"JARED, GO AWAY!! LET'S MEET TOMORROW!! I'M STILL MAKING LOVE TO MY WIFE!!!" yelled River.
"CAN YOU PUT IT OFF?? THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT, AUNT SAID YOU JUST GOT HOME. THAT MEANS YOU'RE JUST ABOUT TO START," answered Jared from outside.
"Ohhh shiiittt... He's really going to get it if what he talks about later isn't important," muttered River, starting to get annoyed.
"See that tarzan. It might be really important," said Beau as she slid off of River and started getting dressed again.
Then River got out of bed and headed for the door. Beau followed behind him. River opened the door and saw Jared with his hair tied up haphazardly.
"What's up?" asked River with his typical expressionless face.
Jared laughed seeing River's annoyed face because his bedroom activity was interrupted.
Beau shook her head and walked towards the kitchen to get a drink. Passing through the living room, she was shocked to see a woman asleep on the living room sofa.
"Honeeeyyy!!! Who is this woman?" shouted Beau.
River glanced at Jared, certain this was Jared's doing. Then River and Jared went to the living room.
"Who is she, Jared?" asked River.
"We had a beer-drinking contest at the bar. And she's really drunk right now. I couldn't leave her at the bar because she was alone. She's a bit of a wild woman. Don't be fooled by her pretty face," Jared replied.
"So why did you bring her here? You want us to take care of her? And how did you get to this town?" asked River.
Beau glared at Jared.
"No no... That's not it. She and I are staying here. I'll take her home tomorrow. Tell her that you guys are my employers if she wakes up later," said Jared.
"Why lie to her? You like her?" asked Beau.
"No, I don't want her following me around later. Tell her I'm too busy taking care of this ranch to fool around," Jared said again.
"I still don't understand," said River.
"She followed me and wouldn't get out of my car," said Jared.
"How could that be? Is she smitten with you?" asked Beau.
"She said she got writing inspiration from me in her drunken ramble in the car earlier. And she's going to follow me wherever I go," Jared said.
Beau laughed upon hearing this.
"Use that to your advantage. She's pretty enough for you to make her your wife, Jared. You need a woman who can take care of you later," said Beau.
"No, she's not my type. She's too aggressive. Anyway, that's all I wanted to say. Now go back to your room," Jared said nonchalantly.
"You're really annoying," said River, turning to go back into his room.
"Take her to a room, Jared. Don't let her sleep outside," Beau said while picking up her drink in the kitchen.
"Hmm," Jared replied shortly and carried the woman's body to his room.
Beau and River then returned to their room.
