Chapter 2 A great way to be close

"Dude when will you let us meet the girlfriend~" Esikiel said cheerfully

"Look at her there she looks like that one Wattpad transfere girl who just got back from Korea and now is in Philippines and is in the same school school as her boyfriend who she met 3 days ago" Cassandra said seriously like she always is

"What are we waiting for?Let's go chat with her! c'mon!!" I said so I won't look jealous and this is how I normally am anyway

I walked over to her,Alexa I mean to say hi we met 3 days earlier at dinner anyway maybe she'll feel comfortable with me around and I want to know more about her if she's gonna date aether and they actually do fall for each other I'll of course be happy but I wanna make sure she's at least an ok person

"Hello Akira what's up it's me Aether Your boyfriend's friend I'm Aldeana Yaki Dela Cruz you look lonely come to our table maybe?" I said acting and normal as I could be

"He did tell you we were forced to date right? we'll be over in 1 week I don't need to get close too you guys"she said shyly like she's scared or something...

is it because I got such an evil looking face?

"Oh my well so sorry to hear that but still we would like to get close to you please give us a chance" I said sincerely I really do want to get close to her now that I'm talking to her it feels like she's traumatized of something

I kept trying to convince her while the other guys were watching me

"she's trying offly hard to make that girl eat with us don't you think" Alex said like she was trying to point out something

"Yeah like isn't she the one who said we shouldn't add anyone else to this group anymore?" Kiel replied

"Well Maybe cause it's my girlfriend? or maybe cause she's new? you know aldea she likes being..social" Aether said

"true but still...why is she being so...hardworking? Cass can you back me up on this theory?" Alex said like she really is pointing out something

"something smells fishy in here" Cassandra said focused on aldea's movements

"Her breathing is a little faster than it usually same with her heart beat and it's true that she didn't want any more people in this friend group so why try so hard to get someone in here? everything is so suspicious,but it's true that she's your girlfriend and it may be just her trying to make you feel comfortable I mean it always was like that she had always been like the mom of this poor group" Cassandra said full on being serious

before the others could respond I came back with my victim,Akira and somehow finally convinced her to come with our group

"Guys~ I got aether's girlfriend with me!!" I said cheerfully

"yes we've noticed.." Alex said

"sorry for my friends weirdness she's always like this"aether whispered to Akira

"it's...okay" Akira replied

"What are you guys whisperin' about? are you planning on ditching us to go have you romantic little date?"Kiel said sarcastically

"ooh" the other three said teasing aether and Akira

"IT'S NOT LIKE THAT!! sorry Akira" aether replied

"it's okay" Akira said

" it's normal for them to be like this if I was your girlfriend" Akira added

"But we're...still I'm sorry if we make you feel uncomfortable" aether whispered

"it's alright" Akira responded

we ate our lunch and spent our time mostly with teasing aether and it was affective but Akira wasn't really bothered it seemed like this was normal for her? I'll change the subject a little so she'd be able to talk

"Hey aki-aki Can I ask why you decided to move to Philippines again?" I asked her

"Mom wanted me to learn this the "Filipino way" and my dad got a business offer here so we came with him" Akira responded like she's told this to people multiple times

"Are you gonna stay here forever?" Alex asked

"don't worry I won't stay too long here" Akira responded

"what do you meeaann? long distance relationship this?come ooonn your love story can't end like this" Kiel said

"for the record we aren't really "in love" we were just forced to date" Akira blurted out

an awkward silence filled the room for a few seconds

"oh god— I feel bad for you Akira" Said Alex

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?" Aether said feeling insulted

"I mean what I mean poor baby is getting forced to date...a guy like you" Alex said

"will you guys break up then?" Cassandra asked

"I think we will in a week or so" both aether and Akira responded

"Well it's better to be friends I guess I mean you will be stuck with each other for a week"Kiel said

"correct" Cassandra said

"are you guys really okay with me being in your group?" Akira asked

"of course we are" we said

"even tho we're Forced to date and all I'd still like to be your friend"Aether said

" I see...I thank you" Akira said sincerely

she doesn't seem like a bad person and she looks like someone who's got strict parents who makes their children get high grades maybe we'll get along? it's good to have someone else in this group who's a straight girl anyway! and it's not like she'll steal aether away from me

"I'd hate to break our fun but aren't midterms coming soon?" Cassandra suddenly said

"oh no" Alex said

"I'm prepared to be honest" Kiel bragged

"stop lying to yourself man" aether said

"Now that I think about it it's in 2 weeks...OH NOO" I said

"why?!" the three asked

"Akira just transferred here so in 2 weeks??midterms?? she's probably not so prepared!" I added

"you don't have to worry about me" akira shrugs

"oh yes I do aether you make sure Kiel has a grade above 60" I said

"Yes" aether responded

"Cass make sure your girlfriend won't fail" I added

"mhmm" Cassandra replied
