chapter 4- Adam's apple

At company's flat...

Everyone is enjoying food while chatting each other...

Sannah: Food is delicious..

Maria: yes it taste better with wine..

Liza: Sannah why are you not drinking just take a sip it will be fine we call a cab for you for getting home don't worry...

Sannah: Nah..! I don't drink I don't like to drink..

Maria: yeah liza don't force her she doesn't like to drink...

sannah you just eat don't worry you can drink juice...

Anthony : boss is here...! welcome boss...

( when everyone is watching boss, liza mixes some vodka with juice)

Liza : (giggle) it will be fun...

Ronnie : no need to stand up just enjoy yourself this gathering is for team build up so guys relax and eat..

Anthony : boss what you like to drink...

Ronnie: just give me coke I have to drive back...

Anthony : okay as you wish..

Ronnie takes a cup and stand aside watching everyone...

Sannah: I will drink juice okay so don't get angry liza..

Liza: Not at all dear drink it..

sannah drank glass of juice which is mixed with vodka which she doesn't know...

After a while...

Maria:(drunk) hey sannah what's up with you...?

Sannah : Don't know its just my head hurts...!!

I am not feeling well...

I am going to washroom...

Maria: okay thats inside that room..

Sannah ran off to washroom..

Ronnie was watching all of that..

Maria: hey liza what have you done?

Liza : what do you mean?

Maria: I know what are you capable off..!

Liza: hey come on...!! I just mix only one shot.. she is being shy And we are here with her...

Maria: she is alergic to smell of alcohol you idiot...

Ronnie heard this and entered in room to see if sannah is alright...

Ronnie: sannah are you feeling alright..?

sannah came out from washroom and bump into him...

Sannah: I am alright hmmmm... I am hungry wannnt tooo eat some... ttthhhing...

Ronnie : she is drunk by one shot.. she is realy timid...

Sannah clinging to her boss..

Sannah:I want to eattt....

Ronnie : okay I will give you some food wait here don't go outside...

Sannah hold his hand and pull him toward her...

Sannah: Apple... I want to eat this apple...

Ronnie's face is near sannah her hands grabbing him tightly..

Ronnie : what apple... where is it..? okay I will ask outside if they have some... just don't grab my neck okay...!!

Sannah: Waaahh...! what a tasty apple I want to taste it...

Ronnie is thinking she likes to eat apple...

suddenly...

sannah grabs his neck and start eating his Adam's apple gently...

Sannah: ummm.. so tasty and fragrant I want to eat a bigger bite....

Ronnie is shocked and shy at the same time he didn't realise what's going on... his heart having a feeling which he can't explain...

Ronnie : sannah you can't do this apple is going to cry because it hurts...

Sannah: oooww...! don't cry I will keep you safe...

and she fall asleep in his arms...

Ronnie : Maria... liza come here...

Maria : yes boss

Ronnie: do you know where she lives..?

Liza: no we never asked her this..!

Ronnie : you girls don't do this next time Otherwise it will not be nice...

Liza : sorry boss I was just hoping for sannah to have fun I didn't know she never drinks I am really sorry..

Ronnie : you have to be sorry but not for me but for sannah... she is a new girl you have to guide her.. how can she trust anyone here after this..!

Maria: boss I can take her to my place but my place is crowded with other girls...

Ronnie : don't worry I will take care of it. I am leaving with her and miss maple..

Miss maple where are you...?

Miss maple: yessss bosss I am off duty nowww....!

Ronnie : she is also drunk...

why all of my staff loves to drink... (sigh)

Ronnie holds sannah to walk down to his car..

Ronnie takes her to his house...

while holding her and taking her to his bed...

Ronnie: sannah go to bed... this is my bed you can sleep here I am sleeping in hall if you need anything just call me.. did you hear me..

Sannah hugs him tightly...

Sannah: Don't... don't leave me please I have nowhere to go (cries) please don't...

Ronnie watches her cry and knows that she's referring to someone...

Ronnie: Okay okay I will not leave you just sleep I am here with you...

sannah laids down while holding his hand... and falls asleep...

Ronnie : looks like she's heartbroken... (sigh)

he slides her hand and cover her with blanket and goes to hall for sleeping in couch...

Ronnie in his thoughts..

thinking when she is grabbing him and eating his Adam's apple... his face went red...

Ronnie : she thinks of my throat Adam's apple as an actual apple...

and she said its tasty and fragrant....

he quickly cover his face after imagining this over...

Ronnie : (talking to himself) but again who she is saying to not to leave her.. her voice was so sad at that time.. Don't know what she was gone through in her past..

thinking these things over and over he falls asleep...

while at the same time at her apartment building...

Joy is in his balcony..

Joy: (thinking) why she is not back..?

Ruth: hey bro she will not come back today...

Joy: what are you taking about..? When did I mention her...?

Ruth: I didn't say anything you yourself explaining things hehehe....

Joy: You really need a serious beating come here I will fulfill your wish... !!

Ruth: Don't come near me bro... I am just kidding.. Aunt martina said our neighbor is going to company gathering so I was just delivering to you some gossip... (giggling)

Joy: But gatherings ended after sometimes right so she will be back.. I am just saying this because she is new here nothing gone wrong to her..

Ruth: ooohh...! you are worried...!

Joy: Its just as auntie said we have to help her in need...

Ruth: then just call and ask her...!

Joy : I don't have her number.. you can call her...!

Ruth: okay I will try just one time...

bell ringing.... zzzzzzzz....

sannah's phone is on vibrate mode...

Ruth: she doesn't picking up..! don't worry she will be fine...

Joy: As I said I am not worried...

just call her again in morning

Ruth: (giggling) yeah yeah..
