Chapter 4
Aurora
We were in the van, talking and laughing with Lilly's friend. He showed us the roads that led to the trails and the national parks, telling us about the stilt houses and the community work he had participated in. In my opinion, the island exuded peace, the peace that I desperately needed.
"We're almost there, wake up Lilly," said Rodrigo, a very handsome, tall and slim man with long, brown hair.
We woke up Lilly, put on our sneakers and sweaters, and picked up some things that were scattered on the floor of the vehicle.
As we got closer, we could see pretty little houses with wooden roofs and their characteristic chimneys. There were many trees around.
At the end of the road, one of the houses caught my attention. It was beautiful and big, but you had to get very close to see it completely as it was somewhat hidden among the coigüe forest that surrounded it. It was a wooden house like all the others in town, but with enough space to accommodate an army. The black tiles gave it a rather masculine appearance, and its large windows allowed you to appreciate the exposed beams of the impressive structure. It radiated warmth.
At the entrance of the grand house stood a woman, the epitome of beauty. She was tall, with black hair down to her pronounced hips, and her eyes were blue, warm and welcoming.
"Hello," she said cheerfully. "I've been waiting for you." She seemed very excited. "Lucy? Is that you?" she asked, as it seemed they knew each other from before.
"Rocio!" exclaimed the addressed with enthusiasm. "But you look so beautiful, it's been so long since we last saw each other." They hugged and admired each other for a couple of minutes, looking so happy about this reunion.
Lucy turned around and took Lilly's hand. "This is my friend Lilly, she's the veterinarian I told you about in the email. She recently graduated, but she was the top of her class."
"Hello Lilly, you have no idea how much we needed you. Our vet took leave to take care of his wife and... his twins. My brother was getting desperate without a veterinarian in charge."
Lilly smiled at Rocio. "I hope to do a great job," she said with rosy cheeks.
"And who is your other friend?" Rocio asked.
"Hello, I'm Aurora Mont. It seems I'm her new classroom assistant. I met the girls at the boarding house in Puerto Montt," I exclaimed nervously.
"Oh, Aurora, you have no idea how much we needed you. The girls weren't interested in working here at the main house. My brother and the... children scared them away," she said with an expression I couldn't decipher.
"I'm very excited to be able to work here. This place is a paradise," I replied with enthusiasm. "Did my documents arrive?"
"Oh, please, use 'tu' with me. We're the same age. And answering your question, everything arrived in order and without any problems. Alright, let's go inside so you can have lunch and rest. You must be exhausted and hungry."
We entered following Rocio. The house was incredibly cozy. In the middle of the living room, you could see a large wood-burning stove, much bigger than any I had seen before. The house was beautiful, and even though it was inhabited by wealthy people, it wasn't at all ostentatious.
"Come this way, the kitchen is over here. Make yourself at home," Rocio said.
On the table, there were sopaipillas, fresh homemade bread, pebre, chapaleles, and milcaos. In the wood-burning stove, there were two pots, one with chicken stew, and in the other, sausages and boiled potatoes. Both Lilly's and my stomachs growled at the same time, causing laughter from the two beauties sitting in front of us.
After eating, Rocio asked me to accompany her to the office to read the work contract and get me up to date on my duties, salary, hours, and lastly, where I will be living.
"Aurora, I hope you don't mind that I took the liberty of preparing a space for you in my house. It's just that I would like you to stay with me, at least until you find a place to your liking," she explained cordially.
"Oh, yes, I have no problem with that, the truth is that I didn't know this part of Chiloe, and since I made the decision to travel on the same day you contacted me, I didn't have time to find a suitable place." I said and I could see relief in her expression.
"Great, but this is not my house, well, yes, but I don't live here, my brother and two of his most loyal workers live here, they are like family. They are not here at the moment, they had work in Castro and when they arrive we can sign the contract. If you wonder why we have to wait for them, the answer is simple, you will work with me, but he is the boss," she clarified.
"Okay, that's not a problem, I have worked under a man before, and honestly, it's not much different from having a female boss," I explained.
"Still, you won't have to deal directly with him, he is only the boss on paper," she said without elaborating.
So, we spent a couple of hours fine-tuning the final details. I will start working next Monday, today is Friday, so I have the weekend to rest and mentally organize myself for everything else. I will be working with the small children, ages 3 to 4, there are 13 kids in the classroom. My schedule is nothing out of the ordinary, from 8:30 to 12:30 with a lunch break, and the second shift will be from 13:30 to 17:30.
"Now that everything is set and organized, follow me, I will show you my little house, it's not too far, it's right here in the same area," she said.
I followed her out of the "main house," as they call it. She guided me along a stone path, and there, in the middle of the forest, I could see a beautiful house, the type of alpine house that I've been dreaming of for years.
"Do you like it?" she asked.
"Your house is beautiful," I replied.
"I'm glad you like it, feel free to use everything here. I usually don't spend much time here since I have to take care of the garden and sometimes help my brother with administrative tasks. Speaking of him, he should be arriving soon. Come, follow me, I will show you your bedroom. I'll leave you there to settle in, you can take a shower and rest for a while. I'll check if the girls have found their workplaces," she said abruptly. "Do you have any questions?"
"Yes, I really enjoy listening to music, but I can be a bit loud. Would it bother you if I play music?" I asked, feeling a bit embarrassed.
"Don't worry about that, the walls of the bedrooms are soundproof, so no matter how loudly you scream or play music, it won't be heard outside. So relax, I want you to feel as comfortable as possible. And besides, not many people come around this area, it's very quiet. I hope you like your bedroom, see you later," she said with a smile.
When Rocio left through the hallway that led to the stairs, I entered the bedroom.
It's a very nice space, not too small, with a double bed next to a large window overlooking a cypress forest. There's a wardrobe and the shared bathroom is located in the hallway.
I organized all my things in the wardrobe, it's not much, so I'll have to go out and buy some things. I saw some small shops nearby, so I'll go window shopping tomorrow.
Among my things, I searched for a pajama, my towel, and went to take a shower. I smelled bad, after drinking that bottle of wine with Lucy, I fell asleep and didn't have time to shower before leaving the boarding house.
I took a refreshing shower, then headed back to my bedroom. Once there, I took my phone and turned on the speaker, connecting them. I played some music, I don't know why, but traveling to the south made me want to listen to Los Prisioneros. I put the album on random and "Con Suavidad" started playing, a song that I really like, it makes me feel like dancing and it's also a very sensual song.
I was semi-naked, only covering my butt with black lace panties. I stayed there for a moment, checking my phone, thinking about what Rocio said about no one being around this area. So I relaxed and literally took her words to heart about feeling comfortable.
I started singing the chorus at the top of my lungs while shaking my body to the rhythm of the music.
"I'm going to undress you, I'm going to hold you tightly against the wall. I'll bite your body, wet your hair, gently..."
I didn't realize there was someone at the door, and when I put down my phone and turned around to grab the towel on a small bench next to the door, I froze in place, unable to move. It felt like seconds passed by, but they felt like an eternity. I managed to grab the towel to cover myself and then shout.
"Who the hell are you? How dare you come in without knocking?" My cheeks burned with embarrassment and anger at the fact that he had been staring at me like that, openly, not even bothering to say anything, not even an apology.
He looked me up and down, turned around, and left my room.
When I was ready, I left the bedroom and walked downstairs. There he was, standing by the door, looking at his phone.
He's a tall man and he looks strong, with dark hair. His eyes are green, or at least that's what I could make out from a distance. His lips look full and very enticing... OH! He's a beautiful man from every angle.
He snapped me out of my thoughts when I heard him say...
"Hey... Assistant, if you're done undressing me with your eyes, let me tell you that Rocio is waiting for us at my house. She was busy, so she didn't come to pick you up and sent me instead." He said it in a bored and careless tone.
I couldn't say anything, just nodded my head. His voice... his voice is powerful and husky, ~I think I just had an orgasm~. He turned around and left the house without looking back.
