First Decision

Present Day : Alisons POV

I still wanna go back in time to change my decision. If I didn't decided to hurt Eren and be honest with him about my problems then everything would be fine. Right ? That's just a answer I'll never know.

Flashback :

Alison looked down avoiding Eren's reaction and asked nervously " Do... you like me ? " Eren got flabbergasted but still he composed himself. He told Alison to look at him.

Alison was ready for her rejection, disappointment from her parents. Eren's gaze to her was the look of closeness. She felt as if Eren felt connected to her.

" I'm not a person who gets attached easily. But you didn't knew that. I should've made you know. You're the reason I come to school everyday so that I can spend time with you, see you. " said Eren

Alison couldn't comprehend Erens words. " You...really like me. "

He chuckled " What else ? I don't have enough patience. I can't spend time with a person whom I don't care for. "

Eren had feelings for Alison but she didn't. The situation was too much to handle for her. Eren wanted to know what's on her heart. " Did I confess too early and made you uncomfortable ? But you asked me if I liked you. "

Alison already was too deep on this. She can't back out now. " No, It's just a little unexpected. "

Eren smiled " Can I assume you like me too ? "

Alison can't fake such a big answer " We still don't know each other well. "

" You were distracted by the thought of who I liked and almost touched a irritable plant. Now you can't speak your heart. " Eren pouted.

This cute behaviour of his made Alison blushed. " It's not my fault. How are you so knowledgeable about these plants ? "

Eren sighed " I had experience in years. " His mother had a passion for gardening. It was his precious memory that his mother working on perfecting their garden.

Alisons heart ached " I'm sorry you lost your mom early due to illness. You only have your dad now."

He scoffed " No, My father killed her. He's an disgusting person. "

With his statement Alison was creeped out and got scared to death. Eren didn't wanted to scare her but it was his reality. He just didn't wanted to hide his darkness to Alison.

" I want to express myself so that you have no doubts on me. And be a good Friend and Person to you. "

Alison realised that Eren really did liked her and that made her more guilty. She's using his feelings.

" If you're free would you ..want to go out with ..me ? " Alison asked hesitantly

Eren looked at her shockedly. With his reaction Alison retreated her offer. He held her hand when she got embarrassed.

" I'll take you out on a date not the other way around. "

Even with Alisons nervousness she did what she was told to. But she didn't wanna date Eren and leave him hurt. Nonetheless she was helpless.

Alison reached home with mixed up emotions. Her mother was waiting patiently to hear about her day. Mrs. Steele got very excited after hearing that Alison secured a date with Eren and wanted to help up dress up for the date.

Alison had no facial expression " Mom, I'm doing what you and dad wants. But it's uncomfortable for me to actively involve you. So, let me handle this on my own. " It's the first time Alison disregarded her mom. It's the start.

Alison blushed " I only looked pretty now ? "

Eren nervously smiled and touched his neck " No, you dressed up for me now. "

They were having a dinner date in a restaurant. Eren wore a red round tee and black leather jackets. Unintentionally they were matching. Alison wanted to know what he wanna be in the future.

" A doctor. "

Alison got dissatisfied. She thought will he a competitor in this field. " Why ? "

" My father got drunk and fought with my mom. The next thing I heard was a broken vase, my moms last scream of help and then a loud thud of her falling into death. I was too young for that. I was crying when I saw my mom in a pool of blood. If I was capable I could've saved her. " Eren said hesitantly

Never in her nightmares would Alison experience what was Eren's life. She didn't expected his father to be a murderer. The scariest part was that he's living with him. Alison aspired to be a doctor for her parents satisfaction but Eren had a greater motive.

" You can't live with him, Eren. It's not safe. "

" Don't worry. He can't hurt me. It'll be suspicious if I die too after my death. "

Still Alison got mortified. She had to make Eren go against his father but it's a life risk for him.

But life isn't limited to physical death. Soul dies too. Eren survived but what about his heart ?

It got chilly at night. Alisons sleeveless short dress made her cold. Eren asked her about it.

" Are you gonna be cliche and give me your jacket ? " Alison teased him

" I won't. That'll make me cold. " Erens honesty was refreshing.

They were still walking. Suddenly Eren grabbed Alison and took her in his embrace while he's still wearing the jacket. She got startled and question him.

Erens intention was to hug her from behind in the name of warming her. They were both sharing the jacket. Alison could feel his chest in her back. She looked at him face while he's covering her. His dark brown eyes and hair were charming.

Eren noticed Alison trying not to make their bodies touched so he gave his jacket to her " I tried to do something original. "

" It's your move now. " Alison assured him

Still Eren walked with a distance from her. Alison realised she had to be close to him so she held his hand. And they walked with their intertwined hands.

Nevertheless the night was still young.
