CHAPTER 4

..."Aceanna martinez's POV"...

"She's clean madam" Arthur said while stretching.

I'm still worried.

I just can't trust people anymore.

My son almost died and we still can't find the culprit no matter how we searched.

My husband and I split for this reason.

As much as I miss both my husband and son I can't see them.

Danger always follows us and all we can do is hide.

I want to help on searching whoever that bastard's motive on trying to kill an innocent child.

Although I can't do anything especially when I'm pregnant and I need to look after my youngest son.

I don't have a bump yet as I'm still half a month pregnant but I still can't move knowing that I am bearing a child.

After the failed assassination attempt for my son, we immediately fled out of the country.

And since Philippines is one of the country that my husband's influence in the business industry isn't known, this is one of the safest options.

And we've only been here for probably a week and a half.

So me and my son is still adjusting to this place.

Although I can take good care of my son, I still need a nanny for a reason.

My son is not the only target of those scums.

I am too and the fact that I'm pregnant makes it worst.

I need someone to take care of my son if something happens to me.

I need someone who will protect my son even in dangerous situation.

I gave my son some bodyguard but that isn't enough to take care of my son.

I need a nanny.

That girl liza Marie Almante.

She's a foreigner from Australia, she's also an orphan and she said that the reason she came here is that a friend told her to take care of the house she's currently living in.

So we searched about her house and also the owner of the house.

Contacted the owner and it appears so that she's indeed telling the truth, but that's still not enough.

So we took a thorough search from her past and all about her and she came out clean.

From the her past we also contacted the orphanage that she went too.

And it is indeed as she said, the orphanage did take her in.

And it turns out she did indeed grew up without a parents and live on her own.

Soon after the orphanage look after her when she was 16.

but after months of staying in the orphanage she got adopted by a guy, who said to be that he always wanted a daughter and since he is a guy he didn't know how to take care of baby so he chose her instead.

I was a little bit worried when she told me about that since it's weird that a man wants a daughter and a teenager at that.

But she explained to me that he really do want a daughter and treated her like a father would, and she was glad that atleast she experience a fatherly love.

I was a bit heart broken hearing that all she wanted was love, but she couldn't cause she's an orphan.

But I'm glad that's she's happy.

But she's still to young can she really handle taking care of a child.

What if it happens again? Is she willing to provide protection to my son?

Am I asking too much?, If I hired her, her job is to take care of my son not protect.

Well I will hired more bodyguard then.

" Madam if you're worried about that girl I could hire a private investigation-" Arthur was talking but I need to interrupt him.

She's just 19 I don't think she's going to be a spy or even an assassin and besides all of her alibi's have proven to be correct.

"I guess I will hire her" I said as I cut his sentences.

"But madam are sure? You still looked worried?" I just sight.

"Don't worry madam we will take a closer look to the young boss and his nanny, if ever she made a suspicious move, we will immediately take care of her" said by the hired bodyguard behind me.

I smile as I feel reassured by his sentences.

My husband was the one hired these men to protect me and my son, so I put my full trust on these men with our lives.

" Alright please protect them alright" I said and give him a tap in the shoulder before I left the room.

So it's settled, I'll hire her as my son's nanny.

..."Liza Marie Almante's POV"...

Anyway I need to buy some groceries.

I can't just rely on online delivery's, beside its better to eat home made food.

Good thing I know this place since ate teresa told me every single place we passed as we were heading to miss aceanna's mansion.

So I already know how to navigate where to go.

I entered the store and looked for ingredients that I'll be needing and some frozen food too.

Hana's house is a complete package, she has a fridge an electric stove some pans and is also air-conditioned.

And the fact that Hana is the one paying the house's property and she also told me that I don't need to pay for water just electricity is enough for me.

Ohhh I just remembered about ate teresa's food.

Almost forgot about that, guess that's what I'll be eating for lunch.

Also did you know that in the Philippines that there is a grocery store inside a mall.

Haha even I was shocked about that fact.

Filipinos mall have everything from grocery store to restaurants and even a movie theater haha it's fun.

I think I will go to a mall once in a while.

Well now's not the time though, I need to earn some money to pay for electric bills and everyday foods. Also for me to go to the mall.

After I finish buying some groceries I went home immediately.

If I don't I might stumble some Filipino who would chat with me for hours.

As I was heading home a bunch of guys was drinking in the middle of the street.

Wait it's morning and they are already drinking wow.

Well I'll just walk passed them.

But as I was about to, this drunk guy hold my arm and dragged me to him and he put his arms around my shoulder.

What's wrong with this guy?, What does he want?

Damnit it's morning yet he stinks and reeks in alcohol.

What the! He speak in tagalog, I didn't understand what he said but he took a cup of the drink and direct it to me as if telling me to drink it.

"Take that away from me" I said and took the guys arm out of my shoulder.

He said something to his friends and started laughing.

Are these guys sane?

Then another guy approached me and hand me his cup.

Eww Disgusting, but the the other guys started approaching me.

Damnit I got no choice.

You brought this to yourself dumb asses, all I want us to go home and you crossed in my way.

There's only 4 of them, its easy to get rid of them.

I put my groceries down and punched the guy beside me and kick his balls making him crawl to the ground.

Before the other guys even dropped to the ground I immediately kick the other guy in the face making him faint after the I look at the other two.

Both of them looked at each other in shocked so before they could even react I immediately run toward them and made a strike in the guys neck and punch the other guys face and kick him after.

Well guess they learned thier lesson.

I picked my groceries and walked away, I can still hear them groaning but they should be thankful that I didn't break them.

Well then I'm heading home now, they probably won't mess with me again...

Well home at last, I started unpacking my groceries, put the frozen meat and chicken in the freezer, the vegetables and fruits in the fridge and other things that I 'ACCIDENTALLY' bought. (AKA. some junk foods and drinks)

I wonder what this is.

The food that ate teresa gave me.

It smells wierd it looks like fried mush of dough with something pink in it.

Well might as well taste it.

I took A bite and well its not that bad but...

I almost gag when something poked my throat.

What the hell is this, is this food trying to kill me.

Turns out it was a small shrimp with the skin still in the shrimp.

Ouchh my throat is sooo itchy.

The heck is this, it's painful to eat.

But I don't know I like the taste of it so I took another bite.

And another, and another, and another and again the shrimp stab my troat but this time I handle it well.

And before I even realize it the food is gone.

What the it's gone?!.

Seems like I in joyed eating in pain, or is it just I keep challenging my self to not get hurt after a certain bite.

Well atleast I eat my lunch.

Should I apply for another job?.

There is no proof that I will get the job, more like I'm hoping to not get the job since I don't wanna get afflicted with that child or even with his father!, Damn that guy is super rich his resources are amazing!.

Ohh well I guess I will look for more jobs.
