Family dinner

The dinning table was filled with a variety of food, a family of five sat down and began to enjoy the food.

Old Master Davis looks happy.

After so many years, Alexander finally sat down with them enjoying their meal without any fights.

" Kay, try this" Jessy puts the food on Kathy's plate.

"Thank you Aunty "

"mmmm... it's delicious " Kathy put the food into her mouth and smiled.

"Aunty, your cooking always the best " Kathy gave her thumb up.

Then she said to the other.

" Grandpa, Aunt, uncle, you should try it too, it's so delicious "

"Your aunt is so happy to hear that you both are going home for dinner, so she cooks these dishes herself " James said.

"Thank you so much Aunt".

Her eyes started to water when she heard James's words.

Kathy felt very touched because all this time Jessy loved her so much so did James and Grandpa.

Looking at her red eyes, Grandpa said

"Silly girl, Why are you crying ?, quickly eat"

Kathy wiped her tears and put a smile.

"alright Grandpa "

Alexander only sat there without saying anything.

He just focused on their conversation.

He felt the warmth he had missed during this time.

Jessy looked at Alexander and said,

"you also eat, this is your favorite food. If you like them, I will cook for you if you comeback " Jessy pointed at the food which is Alexander's favorite.

Alexander didn't say anything, he took a bite of the food.

Jessy felt touched and happy for the first time, Alexander never wanted to eat her cooking, but today he ate them.

James saw her wife and caressed her back.

Jessy smiled.

Kathy looked at Alexander and thought in her mind.

"not bad today "

After dinner, Grandpa asked Kathy accompany him to walk in the garden.

James and Alexander went to the study room to talk about works.

While Jessy returned to the bedroom.

At the study room,

"Alex, how's work?"

Although James already retired, he still a shareholder, he holds 25%,

Grandpa as the biggest shareholder holds 35% and Alexander himself has 20%. and the rest is belong to another shareholders.

Alexander gave him some reports about works.

James looked at his son and said,

" you're almost thirty one, when will you marry ? your Grandpa always ask about that, don't let him worry. His health isn't very good lately".

"I understand "

James sighed,

" That time, He wanted you to marry Kay, but you refused that idea, you said you want to be with that model, we let you do want you want but untill now... are you sure you really want to be with that woman?.

We know you don't like being controlled but please at least , consider about your Grandpa"

"Your Grandpa always worries about both of you. Although Kay isn't his biological granddaughter, but he is still worried about her life.

Since you have rejected her that time and we already considered her as our own daughter, Dad hopes that you as her brother can pay more attention to her. she's living outside alone".

"I know what to do"

After a while both of them walked down from upstairs and saw Old Master Davis and Kathy returned from their walk.

Grandpa looked at James and Alexander then turned to Kathy and said,

"Don't forget, This Wednesday at 7"

"Alright Grandpa " Kay smiled and nodded.

Then Old Master Davis went back to his to with the help of the butler .

James patted her son on the shoulder and said goodnight to them.

Kathy replied and James went upstairs to his room.

Kathy walked out followed by Alexander.

Alexander walked towards his car and opened the back door, Kathy walked passed him and went through the gate.

"Where are you going ?" Alexander asked.

Kathy looked back and said, " Of course, home"

Alexander pointed at the door and ordered,

"go in"

Kathy looked at him and asked," me? no ..no need, I can take the taxi"

She didn't want to take his car.

Alexander tried to hold his emotion,he was upset seeing her avoiding him again. he said,

"it's late, there's no taxi at here"

Kathy looked at the time on her phone, it's right.

But she still refused him , she doesn't want to go through the same situation again being left on the empty street.

"it's okay, I can call Alena or Danny " after saying that, she turned around and continued walking to the gate.

Alexander's face darkened and walked towards Kathy.

Kathy was shocked and almost fell when Alexander suddenly carried her.

"what are you doing ?"

She quickly put her arms around his neck.

Their position made her blushing.

Alexander didn't answer her and shoved her into his car and slammed the door.

He went to the other side and got in.

After that, he asked the driver drove away.
