The next morning, the moment Kathy opened her eyes, she saw she was in a large bedroom.

"What happened ? How.. How did I end up here ? " Kathy tried her best to recall what happened. She remembered that she had drunk a little too much last night .

Then, the next thing that she remembered was she saw Alexander and he kissed her.

As she tried to sift through her fragmented memories, she vaguely remembered that she was kissing him back.

And their kissing was quite hot.

She felt her face become hot because she was embarrassed about what happened.

Then he carried her to his car .

She lifted the blanket and saw herself was wearing a man's shirt.

"did the man had proceeded to have sex with her on this bed?"

She couldn't remember anything anymore.

She collapsed back onto the pillow and covered herself with the blanket. The man’s deep charming voice sounded above her.

“What’s the matter with you?” He even tapped her head through the blanket.

Kathy knew he was asking the obvious, so she shouted, “Go away!”

“That was the exact opposite of what you said when you clung onto me and refused to let me go.”

Kathy was even more embarrassed than before. “I was drunk, I don’t know what I did.”

She cursed herself for being drunk again last night.

“So, are you pretending that nothing happened?” He lowered his head and forced his dangerous voice into her ear.

Kathy had goosebumps all over her body.

There's silent for a moment.

Alexander pulled the blanket and tossed it away.

" Wake up, we have to rush back. Grandpa has called you several times "

Kathy quickly woke up and took her phone.

She saw several missed calls from Grandpa.

She immediately dialed back.

"Grandpa...I'm sorry, I didn't hear your call so I didn't pick up your call "

"it's okay. don't worry, Kay. Grandpa only want to eat dinner with you"

"Alright Grandpa, I will be at home for dinner tonight "

Then they hung up.

Alexander put on his coat and said

"Go take a shower, we will head back after breakfast "

After a while both of them already sat in the back seat of Alexander's car.

Kathy looked at her phone while bitting her own lips.

She was trying to remember about last night.

While Alexander was looking at the documents in his hands.

Suddenly, Alena's call comes in.

"Hallo.."

" Kay. are you alright ?"

Kathy glanced at Alexander then she answered,

"I'm fine"

"I'm sorry Kay, I was drunk and didn't know that Alexander took you away last night "

"it's okay "

"did he do something to you?"

Thinking about her questions, Kathy's face turned red.

"Kay..?"

"No..no..nothing happened , don't worry "

"Okay, the. I relieved. Where are you now?"

"I'm on my way back. Grandpa called me and I'm on my way to him"

"are you with him?"

Kathy glanced at Alexander again and hummed.

" Lena, my bag..?"

" It's okay I'll bring it back with me. Then see you later, Kay"

And the call ended.

Kathy turned her head to look at the outside of the window.

Alexander who was reading his documents took a slight glance at her then returned to his documents.

There's a slight smile on his lips seeing Kathy's blushing face.

Actually last night, they didn't do anything beside the kiss.

He only pulled her into her embrace and hugged her all night.

After a few hours of traveling , they arrived at in front of the Davis mansion.

When the car stopped, a bodyguard came and opened the door.

Kathy immediately got out from the car and walked into the mansion with rush.

She completely ignored Alexander.

Alexander furrowed his brows as a sign that he doesn't like being left by her.

But there's also a little smile on his lips, he thought she is pretty cute.

When Kathy arrived at the living room, she saw Grandpa Davis was playing chess with his son, Alexander's father.

"Grandpa, I 'm here"

Old Master Davis turned around and saw Kathy walked towards him.

"Kay.."

His eyes looked happy.

Kathy bent down and hugged him.

"I miss you, Grandpa "

"I miss you too, little girl"

Kathy looked at Alexander's father and greeted him.

"Uncle, how are you?"

"I'm fine"

"Grandpa , Dad"

Suddenly Alexander's voice sounded.

Old Master Davis turned to see Alexander walked in.

James was startlet when he heard his son called him.

it's been a while since the last time he called him politely.

Then Old Master Davis and James looked at Kathy and Alexander in turn.

"you two.??" Old Master pointed at the two of them.

There's a smile on his face and he nodded his head.

James also had a smile on his face.

Kathy on the other side blushed.
