In the midst of her grief, Katharine was profoundly bewildered, "Aldo, what's going on?"
"Katharine, do you trust me?" Aldo asked, looking earnestly into her eyes, causing her a moment of bewilderment.
"I trust you..." Katharine replied, filled with hope.
