One Week Later.
"Are you heading to that patient's room again?"
"Of course, he's my favorite patient in this hospital, I'm overjoyed to care for him!" A nurse said with bubbling enthusiasm, puzzling her colleagues.
"What's with him lately? He seems odd..." remarked one nurse, watching the departure of her overly cheerful colleague.
"You know? They say the patient she's been tending to is quite handsome and strong, so she's really happy about it."
"Really? I want to see him later, then."
"Me too."
Meanwhile, the nurse they were discussing was on her way to her favorite patient's room, brimming with excitement.
"Time to change your dressings, Aldo," the nurse said as she opened the door.
She froze upon seeing what Aldo was up to inside.
The man was performing one-handed push-ups with his other hand behind his back, moving swiftly and neatly like a professional athlete.
Aldo finished his push-ups and rose to wipe the sweat with a towel, notably without a shirt, revealing his well-defined and more muscular torso than the week before.
"R-ripped bread..." muttered the female nurse, her nose bleeding.
"You should knock before entering someone else's room," Aldo said, slightly irritated before putting on his clothes.
"I-it's time to change your dressings today."
Nervously, the nurse repeated her words and reached for a bandage in the drawer before Aldo stopped her.
"It seems that's no longer necessary for me."
"Eh? Why's that?"
"Because I'm healed," Aldo said solemnly, then unwrapped the bandage himself to reveal his arm had healed, leaving behind only minor scarring.
All this time, Aldo hadn't solely relied on medications to heal his injury; he also exercised while completing his daily missions.
Although it was painful to do push-ups in his condition, Aldo persevered to fulfill the daily missions assigned by the system.
Interestingly, the system would assign more daily missions as Aldo's physical strength increased.
For jogging missions, the system kindly allowed Aldo to run in place, so he didn't need to leave the hospital just for a jog.
"So now that I'm healed, can you arrange the paperwork for my hospital discharge?" asked Aldo, met with a nod from the nurse.
Though she was saddened to part with Aldo, she had to let him go because ensuring patients were cared for until discharge was her main duty.
In short, Aldo was permitted to leave the hospital after undergoing several medical checks confirming his recovery.
The doctor overseeing his examination was astounded by Aldo's full recovery and noted he seemed healthier than before, which was unexpected as recovery was estimated to take about three weeks to a month.
Even though Aldo was cleared to leave, he didn't exit immediately but visited someone else being treated there.
In the room he headed to, Myra and Mr. Suman sat beside a woman lying weakly in bed. She was Mr. Suman's wife or Myra's mother, who had just undergone surgery.
"How's Auntie's condition? There's nothing wrong, right?" Aldo asked warmly.
Aldo had frequently visited Myra's mother over the past week, as they were in the same hospital.
"Auntie's doing well, young Aldo."
Mrs. Siska, Myra's mother, responded to Aldo's question kindly. She didn't hesitate to call Aldo 'young' as he was around her eldest daughter's age.
Someone else using such a term might anger Aldo, but he took no offense when Mrs. Siska did, for she was like a mother to him.
"Uncle, you've been cleared to leave the hospital? You've recovered already?" inquired Myra, noticing Aldo's unwrapped arm.
"Yes, Uncle's healed, so I can return to work," Aldo replied amiably though internally annoyed that she kept calling him 'Uncle'—he would have preferred 'brother' or 'elder brother'.
Mrs. Siska suffered from coronary heart disease, and although she insisted she was fine, Aldo could tell from her pale complexion she wasn't healthy.
Mr. Suman also looked sorrowful seeing his wife's condition.
Mrs. Siska had undergone surgery, but the doctors couldn't cure her cancer with just a couple of procedures.
More surgeries were needed, and a transfer to a larger hospital with better facilities was necessary. However, Mr. Suman lacked sufficient funds for transferring her, as all the money he had painstakingly saved was spent on her recent surgery.
*I vow to raise enough money for Mrs. Siska's medical expenses!*\, Aldo thought determinedly.
At that moment, the system's voice echoed in his head again.

500 System Points

*Even without a mission\, I would still help Mrs. Siska*\, Aldo contemplated.
The greater the reward, the harder the mission tended to be. Clearly, this mission would be particularly tough, following the previous ones to get married and have ten children.

Aldo returned to his workplace after visiting Mrs. Siska, this time not to a shooting location as before, but directly to the studio situated in the city's heart.
After about an hour's taxi ride, Aldo arrived at a grand building emblazed with 'Fortune Group Cinematic' or 'FGC'.
As the name suggested, this was a film production company renowned even internationally for its hit movies.
And Aldo was one of the fortunate ones to work at this prestigious company, albeit in a lesser-known capacity.
Stepping into that grandiose firm, Aldo realized it was his first visit to the corporate headquarters, having always been at the mercy of that irascible director's commands until now.
A call from the company executives prompted his direct visit.
*It seems my act of saving Laura has caught the top brass's attention*\, Aldo mused.
