"Are you all right, Miss?"
"I... I don't know..."
Laura was in utter disarray after waking up abruptly in the hospital with her arm hooked to an IV.
A moment's reflection allowed her to recall the events preceding her collapse, where she found herself amidst roaring flames, rescued by one she deemed her hero.
"By the way, where is that person?" Laura asked her slightly perplexed assistant.
"Which person?"
"The one who saved me from the fire."
The assistant gasped, "Oh, him. He suffered severe burns on his hands from grasping the hot bars, so he's been moved to a hospital as well. Would you like to see him?"
Laura pondered briefly before replying, "Yes, I would like to see him, please take me to his room."
"There's no use; he's not at this hospital."
"Eh?"
Laura was baffled until she remembered that Aldo wasn't a wealthy man who could afford a large hospital like the one she was in now.
"Forget about him for now, Miss. You must rest and recover as swiftly as possible," her assistant advised, gently laying Laura back and tucking her in.
"When I am well, I'd like to see him immediately..." Laura murmured, met with her assistant's nod of agreement.

Meanwhile, at the public hospital, there lay Aldo with both hands fully bandaged.
"Aldo, I've come!"
The door flew open, revealing Leon, who arrived carrying a tray laden with food.
"Can you not be loud for just one day?" Aldo asked, vexed by Leon's relentless noise.
"I'd die if I kept my mouth shut for a day," Leon chuckled, settling into the chair beside Aldo's bed.
"You know? You smell like a roasted cow with that burnt body," Leon continued.
Aldo rolled his eyes in annoyance, "Did you come here to take care of me or to insult me? If you've brought food, then leave already!" Aldo snapped.
"As if you could eat with your hands like that? I'm here to feed you."
"I'd sooner eat like a dog than be spoon-fed by you," Aldo retaliated with a disgusted and disdainful glance.
"Hehehe. Just kidding, I'll have a pretty nurse spoon-feed you later."
"By the way, how is Miss Laura's body?" Leon added, his curiosity skyrocketing.
"You and that woman again."
"Just spit it out! You carried her, right? Your hands must've touched her body, felt the softness of a single woman in her thirties, what did you do then? Why didn't you move your hand higher to touch that area?"
Aldo was appalled by his friend's vile thoughts, marveling at Leon's audacity to speak such indecencies to one who lay powerless in bed.
"Can't you see my hands? In this state, how could I enjoy such a touch?" Aldo rebuffed, tired of entertaining the lecherous man.
Leon donned a serious face, stating, "I'd be willing to lose my hands to touch a woman like Miss Laura."
"Are you stupid? No, truly a fool..."
Aldo exhaled a long sigh, aware that prolonged exposure to Leon might inflict mental wounds alongside his physical injuries.
Before long, the door to Aldo's room opened again, halting Leon's nonsensical ramblings.
Leon's attention drifted to the door, marveling at the young lady's unreal beauty, akin to an angel descended from paradise.
"I planned to bring you food, but it seems someone's already done so," said the young lady, none other than Myra.
"Just save it, I'll have it later tonight," spoke Aldo softly, a stark contrast to his indifferent and rough demeanor around Leon.
Confused, Leon's head swung back and forth between Aldo and Myra as if piecing together a puzzle.
Shock hit Leon when he realized something, "D-don't tell me the reason you're not attracted to mature women like Miss Laura is that you prefer high school girls?"
"That's not true!" Aldo exclaimed, his emotions flared. However, instead of deterring Leon, it incited him further.
"A single man in his thirties coupled with a 17-year-old girl, should I report this to the authorities?"
"I told you no! Besides, I'm only 27 years old!"
"Just eat, uncle. Let me feed you."
Myra interrupted their argument, offering a spoonful of food to a steamed Aldo.
Starved as he was, Aldo had no choice but to be fed by the young lady facing him.
*At least this beats being spoon-fed by that jerk* - Aldo internally scoffed at Leon.
*No denying now\, Aldo\, I'm certain you're really a creep* - Leon silently retorted\, judging Aldo.
Time flew by, and soon Leon and Myra left for their respective homes, leaving Aldo in the care of the medical team.
Once alone, Aldo savored the freedom to clear his mind and invoked the system within.
"System, what about my last mission?"
[You have completed the mission commendably!]

*Perfect* - Aldo relished his success.
Aldo's life-saving feat wasn't without reason; shortly after the filming site accident, Aldo received a system mission to rescue Laura.
Thanks to that, Aldo had accrued a substantial amount of System Points, Ability Points, and cash equivalent to a month's salary.
Summing it up, Aldo's account now held approximately $18 million Rupiah, as all earnings from mission completions were directly transferred there.
Aldo had no need to worry about hospital fees, as his agency was wholly responsible for employees injured on the job.
While immobilized in bed, Aldo reflected on his primary goal.
"I need to find Novita," he uttered.
He and Novita had parted ways without explanation ten years prior, in his carefree high school days at 17, surrounded by close friends.
Though he couldn't recall everyone, a few names remained in his memory.
"Should I meet up with them? They would surely ridicule me for still being single..."
His peers had all established families, and thus, Aldo felt embarrassed about his inadequate job and relationship status.
"Regardless, I must see them, they might know something about Novita," Aldo murmured, resolved.
