Several months ago, Aldo and Laura had once been secretly in love, careful not to stir up a frenzy among the netizens.

After delivering the trademark villain line, the muscular man boldly confronted the hero.

But as with most hero stories, the hero overcame the villain with the plot armor he possessed.

"If I die, I'll take you with me!" the villain shouted before his defeat.

Now was Aldo's moment to shine; after stretching, he pressed several buttons on the device before him.

Following his action, a great explosion occurred not far from the set as Aldo triggered the meticulously planned blasts.

Not just once, but he pressed the button repeatedly causing a series of fierce explosions.

In the story, the villain unleashed all his power to blow up the location, also aiming to kill both the male and female leads alongside his own demise.

All the villain's underlings had been moved to safety as the camera had shifted away from them before fire consumed the village huts with ease.

Laura was still caged near the fire, at the point where the hero should breach the flames to save her, but he did not.

"Hey, what are you doing?! Hurry and save her as scripted!" the Director yelled in frustration.

"What? Are you joking?! I'm not crazy enough to run through flames!"

Everyone panicked at the lead actor's declaration, including Laura, whose position was now perilous.

No matter how much the Director shouted commands, the eccentric actor stubbornly refused, citing a fear of fire.

The blaze grew, causing Laura to feel the heat intensely and cough from the thick smoke.

Desperate, the Director knew his agency would be blacklisted if this chaos endangered a star actress like Laura. Worse, he faced imprisonment for negligence.

"Hey, look! Who is that brave soul charging through the fire?"

A crew member shouted, pointing at someone sprinting through the flames.

The Director was astonished; he recognized the man, someone he often belittled and underestimated – it was Aldo.

On the other side, Aldo plowed through the raging inferno, which was fuelled by easily combustible materials.

Covering his mouth and nose to reduce smoke inhalation, he rushed toward Laura's cage. She was limp and on the verge of fainting at any moment.

"Hold on!" Aldo's shout roused Laura.

She turned to see a familiar figure – her secret lover from months ago.

"Aldo..." Laura whispered weakly.

With no time to respond, Aldo focused on freeing her from the enclosure instantly.

Upon touching the iron bars, he felt their scorching heat, but the urgency of the situation left no time for screams or complaints. Aldo summoned his strength and bent the cage's bars powerfully.

The increase in Aldo's strength made bending the metal bars feasible.

Laura was stunned by Aldo's unexpected power. Extending his hand to her, she returned a firm grip.

Aldo then carried her as if she were a princess in his arms – indeed, Laura was a princess, by character.

Bearing extreme heat and shortness of breath, Aldo fled the fiery madness.

Laura's body was frail, causing her to lose consciousness before Aldo could reach safety.

But at least she fell unconscious in the arms of a past lover...
