(Aurora)

I arrived at work, did some check-ups, and escorted patients to the doctor's office.

Afterwards, I went to distribute medication to the hospitalized individuals.

I don't think the man will come today since I usually see him in the mornings. I visited some women who had just given birth and then attended to the older ladies.

Aurora: Good morning, ma'am. Are you feeling better?

Ernestina: Hello dear, good day. I'm feeling better now, I want to go home. I don't like being just lying down, I feel tired but from the bed.

Aurora: Well, today you'll go home.

Ernestina: Yes, I'm already waiting for my boy to come get me.

Aurora: Please take care of yourself. I'll go to fill your prescription and bring you the discharge paperwork.

Ernestina: Thank you, dear.

Aurora: I'll be back in a moment.

Aurora left the room to organize everything for Ernestina's departure and requested the discharge papers for her to sign, as well as the prescribed medication.

I arranged everything for Mrs. Ernestina, to be honest, I feel very at ease around that woman. I think we both get along well.

I grabbed the medication and the prescription to take it to her. I entered the room.

Aurora: Mrs. Ernestina, I brought your... medication.

Aurora stared at Andrew, who was with the lady. Their gazes met for a moment, and she felt somewhat nervous.

Andrew: Are you feeling okay?

Aurora: Yes, yes, I'm feeling fine. Could you accompany me for a moment to give you some instructions?

Andrew: Of course, let's go.

Aurora and Andrew left the room.

Aurora: Sir, I would like to talk about what you proposed yesterday.

Andrew: Well, miss, I apologize, I forgot what I told you.

Aurora: Please, let's talk.

Andrew: Look, I can't right now because I have to take Ernestina home and then I have to work.

Aurora: Then, can I see you in the afternoon? I'm also working.

Andrew and Ernestina gathered their things and left the hospital. Aurora tidied up the room a bit, went back to her workplace, and called her friend.

Sofía📱: Hello, friend. How's everything going?

Aurora📱: Not good, Sofi. My mother needs to undergo surgery soon.

Sofía📱: And with the money you've raised, my help, and Jacob's, wouldn't it be enough?

Aurora📱: Trust me, that would only cover the hospital expenses. I need to tell you something else.

Sofía📱: I'll see you at lunch. I'll come pick you up.

Sofía and Aurora hung up the call. Aurora finished up some tasks and went out for lunch with Sofía.

I finished up some tasks and went to have lunch with Sofía. We went to a restaurant near the hospital and sat down to eat. While we were eating, I started telling her.
