Episode 2

As every day, I woke up, took a shower, put on my suit, and went downstairs for breakfast. I live alone in my mansion with my employees. Ernestina, the housekeeper, has been with me since I was born. She used to work for my parents and is a 50-year-old lady. She has always taken care of me, and she is the only person I allow to speak the truth to me, along with my mother. I see her as a second mother, and I respect and love her very much.

Today, when I woke up, I noticed she looked a bit pale. I asked her if she felt alright, and she said yes. I had breakfast and left my mansion for the company. After a few hours of work, I received a call informing me that Ernestina was not feeling well and had been taken to a private hospital. I rushed there and discovered that she had only experienced a slight drop in blood pressure. Upon leaving her room to make arrangements to go home, a nurse accidentally bumped into me. Although she apologized, I didn't pay much attention. I told her to watch where she was going and continued on my way.

But as I walked away, I felt a temptation to see her again. Therefore, I arranged everything and waited for her to come out of the bathroom so I could observe her from a distance. When she emerged, wiping her face with a towel, I noticed she was a stunningly beautiful woman, someone who seemed perfect to take to my bed. I then saw her approach a man, and I sensed a hint of concern in her demeanor.

Unfortunately, Ernestina wouldn't be discharged until tomorrow. I bought her some food and brought her to her room. I stayed with her for a while and then went to my office because I had to arrange a meeting in New York to deliver a shipment. I finalized everything, planning to travel early the next day. In the evening, I went to see Ernestina and thought about seeing that nurse again. There was something about her that captivated my attention.

I went to the hospital, but I couldn't find her anywhere. So, I decided to ask my friend and right-hand man, Mike, to investigate that nurse for me.

Mike is my friend of many years, I can say he is like a brother to me. He has been there for me through thick and thin.

So, I asked him to investigate everything about that nurse. I don't know why I have a certain interest in her.

I went to my mansion, did some exercise, took a bath, and then went to sleep.

The next morning, I went to New York to handle my business transactions.

After grabbing a quick bite to eat, I went to the bank to try and get a loan, but I didn't succeed. Then, I went to the hospital and wanted to stay and take care of my mother, but my father told me to go rest and that he would take care of her. Another day, I tried searching in other banks, but nothing worked out. Jacob also tried to help me, but even then, I wouldn't have enough to pay, and it seems unfair to me that my father has to sell what he has worked so hard for if that scumbag hadn't put my father in a tough spot, this wouldn't be so difficult because he would have a good job.

I returned home and locked myself in my room to cry. My mother has always been a great mother, wife, and person. I don't understand why this happened to her.

I tried to have dinner, but I couldn't. My sister wants to drop out of school to help us with the expenses, but I won't allow it.

Then, I took a bath and went to sleep, although I couldn't sleep for most of the night. I wish I could afford my mother's surgery.

Everything went well with my businesses. Mike sent me a file via email with the information I asked for.

Her name is Aurora, she's 25 years old.

Apparently, she's going through a tough financial situation.

I would help her, but she has a boyfriend.

Unknowingly, I got lost in Aurora's photo. She truly is beautiful. That same night, I flew back to Los Angeles, arrived at my mansion, took a bath, and fell asleep.

I woke up early, like every day. I took a bath, got ready, had breakfast, and went to the hospital.

I visited my mother and father.

My dad went to work, it's not the time to neglect jobs. We have to find a way to gather the money somehow.

I went to work, feeling so bad for my mom. Then, Jacob arrived, gave me some flowers, and hugged me. It seemed like he knew I needed that hug. I cried on his shoulder and sat with him in the waiting room chairs. Honestly, his hug comforted me a lot, but a man interrupted us...

Later, I headed to the office to check if everything was in order, then I went to the hospital, to be honest, I wanted to see that nurse again. And I did see her, but she was embracing a guy. I don't know why, but I felt an urge and spoke to her.

Andrew: Good morning, miss, could you help me with something, please?

Aurora: Good day, sure, are you feeling unwell?

Andrew: Yes, would you please examine me?

Aurora: Of course, come with me to the examination room so we can check and refer you to the doctor.

I bid farewell to Jacob and went with the man to the examination room...
