Mia : "I'm...IN".

Unknown : "What?".

Mia : "Seriously? Do you want me to say it out loud by words now? *sigh* Im sorry about not agreeing to your proposal earlier. Now I have thought about it and-".

Unknown : "I don't think I know what you're talking about. Miss are you sure you are calling the right number? Or is this some kind of prank?".

Mia : "Really? You're going to pull 'that' card now? Don't joke around with me. I'm quite serious about this".

Unknown : *sigh* "Miss I don't think I'm the person you're referring to. This is the wrong number".

Mia : "Wait. WHAT? Is this not LOS?".

Unknown : "No this is not 'LOS' or whatever you may think this is. This is "Chef's Pizzeria" down town".

Mia : "Oh. I'm sorry. I thought that...this was some other number".

Worker : "It's ok. Anyways since you called us. Would you like to place an order for 'Xtra Cheesy Chicken Pepperoni Pizza'? Its brand new on our menu".

Mia : "No...no thank you. Sorry for calling. Goodbye".

Mia : "AAAAARGHHH. SERIOUSLY THAT WAS SOOO LAME MIA. YOU JUST EMBARASSED YOURSELF. SH*T SH*T....FUUU-".

Worker : "Uh...Miss , I don't think I'm supposed to hear you right now but....I CAN HEAR YOU. You're still ON CAL-".

*Mia ends the call*

Mia : "Is it too late to die right now? I know it's not the option I should jump into but either ways I'm dying. OF EMBARRASSMENT".

*telephone downstairs starts ringing*

Mia : "Ugh who could that be. I hope I don't embarrass myself again...".

*Maddie attends the telephone*

Maddie : "Hello? Who is it?".

Worker : "Is this Mia?".

Maddie : "No. I'll hand it over to her. MIAAAA. THIS CALL'S FOR YOUU".

Mia : "I'm coming. Hold on a sec".

Maddie : "She's coming. SO HOLD ON FOR A SEC".

Worker : "Okaaay? *in a low voice* Aggressive much?".

Maddie : "I heard THAT.......".

Mia : "Gimme that. Hello?".

Worker : "Is this Mia?".

Mia : "Who else bro? My sister just handed the call over to me".

Worker : "Right right. This is the 'Chefs Pizzeria' calling , there's an order for 'Xtra Cheesy Chicken Pepperoni Pizza' for you and that will be £13.99. Would you like to pay on delivery or through online? Or would you like to come pick this up".

Mia : "No? Thats weird. I know I called you guys accidentally but I never placed an order. Did you get the names mixed up? Wait how do you even have this telephone number?".

Worker : "The numbers of people who call us frequently is saved in our phone book. So there was your name along with this number and I called you on this because somehow the other number got deleted from our phone book. And I...uh... didn't mix up the names. I just thought you might need one because of your phonecall 10 mins ago. It seemed urgent and you screamed that you were embarassed. So I just placed one to cheer ya up".

Mia : "Deleted Huh? But uh NO thank you. I don't need the pizza. Why don't you give it to someone who actually needs food. Like homeless people. BUT DONT CHARGE THEM THO. Seriously bruh. If that was supposed to cheer me up , why would you charge me for it. I didn't even ask".

Worker : "......thats my job...?".

Mia : *sigh* "I dont think making me charge for a pizza that I didn't even order would cheer me up. So I don't need the pizza. Goodbye and have a nice day".

*call ends*

Maddie : "Ooooh Who was it?" *smirks*

Mia : "The pizzeria worker I accidentally called. He wanted to give me a box of pizza to cheer me up from embarrassing myself".

Maddie : "And you said NO? TO FREE PIZZA? HOW COULD YOU? YOU ARE RUTHLESS".

Mia : "You think I would pass up FREE PIZZA? That moron charged £13.99 for it".

Maddie : "If only he was kind enough to give us free pizza. I'm craving some right now".

Mia : "Yeah me to-".

*telephone starts ringing again*

Mia : "Damn , who is it now? Hello?".

Unknown : "It's me...again. I was thinking about what you said earlier and I have decided to be kind. So I'm giving you this pizza on an offer".

Mia : "You are? Really? *gleaming with joy*

Worker : "Yeah. I thought that it wasn't right making a customer pay so much for a pizza they didn't even order. So I have decided to give you a 50% off on this pizza. It will be £6.99 instead".

Mia : "Dude......JUST GIVE UP ALREADY. I DONT WANT YOUR PIZZA GOD DAMN IT".

Worker : "......Fine then I'll give it you for FR-".

Mia : "GOODBYE".

*call ends...again*

Maddie : "Same guy huh?".

Mia : "Yes. How can someone be so dense. I mean sure he was trying to be nice but he calls me AGAIN just to give the pizza on 50% off. Like WTF dude? It's as if he couldn't give away a box of it for free".

Maddie : "Looks like he's real persistent to give you that pizza. Well anyways , I'm going up to my room. Just knock when Mom and Dad comes home".

Mia : "Alright. I'll be down here. Just let me know if you need anything".

Maddie : "Kay sure".

Mia : "Time to relax and watch some TV. What do we got here?".

*telephone starts ringing...again*

Mia : *grits teeth* "I SWEAR TO GOD , IF THATS HIM AGAIN....".

*attends the call*

Mia : "HOW MANY TIMES SHOULD I TELL YOU THAT I DONT NEED YOUR F*CKING PIZZA. Even though it's heartbreaking to say this , I DONT WANT IT EVEN IF ITS FREE ANYMORE".

Unknown Lady : "Pizza...? Is this Mia Howard?".

Mia : "Wait. Why do you sound like a lady? And how'd you know my full name?".

Unknown Lady : "I sound like a lady because I AM a lady. This is Agent Jones speaking. Hello again Mia".

Mia : "Oh hello. Wow , I'm certainly surprised that you know this number. How did you get it?".

Agent Jones : "We ARE called the 'LOS' for a reason. So let me guess... You called the pizzeria didn't you?".

Mia : "I bet you know that info because I just screamed about not wanting a pizza the moment the call got connected or because.....YOU TRACKED MY CALL. YOU GAVE THE PIZZERIA NUMBER ON PURPOSE? But why?

Agent : "I wish I could applaud now. It only took you about 1 hour to figure that out. You know how it can be dangerous if the whereabouts or any information of us gets into the wrong hands. Then it's game over. We gave you the pizzeria number to track you and see if you made any attempt to call that specific number. If you called, it would be pretty much obvious that you want to work with us OR you were genuinely trying to order a pizza. But that definitely wasn't the case was it?".

Mia : "Woah... Thats like crossing 10+ private boundaries in one go. And how would you know if that was the case or not. You just TRACKED my calls".

Agent Jones : "Yes , I just TRACKED your calls and also HEARD your conversation with the pizzeria worker as well. You must have been so embarassed. It's so embarrassing that I feel second hand embarassment FOR YOU".

Mia : "............".

Agent Jones : "Hello? Mia please resp-".

Mia : "YOU LISTENED IN ON MY CONVERSATIONS??? HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DOING THAT FOR?

Agent Jones : "Ever since we recruited your brother".

Mia : "And WHEN did you recruit him?"

Agent Jones : "When he was around your age. I guess we have been tracking and listening on your phonecalls for 7 years? Or was it 8?".

Mia : "WHAT THE F*CK? SERIOUSLY. 8 YEARS? You guys basically invaded our privacy which is totally NOT COOL".

Agent Jones : "It's not like we want to do this. We don't enjoy invading anyone's privacy but it's the procedure. We only do this to make sure no 'unwanted' calls are made or if any information is being leaked to our opponents".

Mia : "I guess you gotta do what you gotta do. Well lets just get to the point. I know I made a scene back at the.... whatever you call it...".

Agent Jones : "The headquarters. We call it 'The headquarters'.

Mia : "Right the headquarters. Look the only reason that made me agree on this is because I feel like my family is actually being watched and targeted like you said. Today I had an encounter with a guy who kept on watching us the whole day. He ended up chasing us".

Agent Jones : "You went out today?"

Mia : "Yeah I had to. My sister had soccer practice today. My parents weren't available so they asked me to take her".

Agent Jones : "I see. We'll take care of it Miss Howard. You don't have to worry about him anymore. Now shall we talk 'business'?".

Mia : "Go ahead".

Agent Jones : "You trying to contact us is sign that you are ready to face the consequences. If you don't doubt your choices. Meet me in the abandoned fishing warehouse across town. We'll start your training there".

Mia : "But...thats where-".

Agent Jones : "Yes I know Miss Howard and that's exactly why we need to train in that specific location itself. You need to learn how to let go of your past. Think about the present and future instead. From tomorrow onwards you will be trained and it will be your duty to protect your family and the citizens of our country".

Mia : "We also protect citizens?".

Agent Jones : "Of course. What did you think this profession was all about then? It's not always about chasing after notorious mafia or gangs. It's also about helping the citizens. We also help solve murder cases if that peaks your interest for this profession Miss Howard".

Mia : "You had me at helping citizens and solving murders. When should we meet up?".

Agent Jones : "Good questions. Since you are a rookie , I say 5:00 am".

Mia : "5-5 AM? Does it have to be that early. I mean I'm not in a bad shape or anything. In quite athletic and strong so can't you make it 6:00 am atleast?".

Agent Jones : "I know that Miss Howard. Your brother used to brag about you winning first place in 200 metre race in middle school. And it's because of that I made your training time at 5 am instead of 4".

Mia : ".........."

Agent Jones : "Oh I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that".

Mia : "It's ok. Just like you said. I need to learn how to let go of my past".

Agent Jones : "Glad to see you that way Mia".

Mia : *smiles* "Yeah but I don't think I would have been able to show up to a 4:00 am training session. First of all , 4:00am? Are you trying to k*ll me from sleep deprivation? Second of all , how will I get out of the house anyways. It doesn't matter whether if it's 4 am or 5 but what excuse will I use?".

Agent Jones : "Thats none of my concerns. You should figure that out by yourself".

Mia : "Isn't it better to adjust the timing to 6:00 am. PLEEEASEE....".

Agent Jones : "............"

Mia : *in a soft voice* "Please?".

Agent Jones : *sigh* "Fine. The training starts at 6:00 am. Be PUNCTUAL".

Mia : "YES MA'AM. And THANK YOU".

Agent Jones : "My pleasure Miss Howard. I hope that we get to work together. Goodbye for now".

Mia : "Goodbye. See you tomorrow".

*call ends*

Mia : "That was easier than I thought. I didn't think she would fall for my pleading. Oh well , Now I just have to find an excuse".

Maddie : "Who was that?"

Mia : *startled* "Who was what?".

Maddie : "On the phone? I thought I heard you talking".

Mia : "OH. That was just me talking to my self".

Maddie : "Okaay weirdo".

*front door opens*

Mom : "Kids. We're back".

Maddie : "Hey Mom. Hey Dad. How was work?".

Mom : "That's unexpected".

Maddie : "What is? Me asking a question?".

Mom : "Uh yeah. You are not the one for asking questions. But thank you. Work was fine. How was your soccer practice?".

Maddie : *looks at Mia*

Mia : *motions to slit throat*

Maddie : "It was PEACHY. Today was really great. It was so great that we almo-".

Mia : "Almost forgot. I forgot to tell you guys that I'm actually planning to start jogging in the morning from tomorrow onwards".

Dad : "Jogging? Thats even more unexpected. What's with the sudden surprises. It's not our wedding anniversary or something is it?".

Mom : *shoots a glare towards Dad*

Dad : "I mean uh-- Im just CURIOUS you know...to know what's the reason behind this 'plan' of yours".

Mia : "I just want to get in shape that's all. Nothing serious".

Maddie : "But you're already IN shape. What more do you need? Abs?" *scoffs*

Mia : "Did I say in shape. What I meant was....um...ITS ALMOST ANNUAL SPORTS DAY. I have got to show my best , both in my skills as well as my physique. And FYI I do have abs. You just... can't see it...YET".

Mom : "Oh okay. At what time are you planning to jog tho?".

Mia : "6 am".

Mom : "6 AM? Isn't that a bit EARLY for you".

Mia : "It WAS early for me. But not anymore".

Mom : "Your plan seems good and all but the only park we have for jogging is across town and that's-".

Mia : "I'm actually planning to go there".

Everyone : "WHAT?".

Mia : "I mean why not. I'm turning 18 in a few months and I'll have to move away from here. So WHAT better way to learn to live by yourself other than going to a park across town for jogging. ALONE".

Dad : "Uh...quite the enthusiasm you got there. I don't know. What do you think Phoebe?".

Mom : "She has a point but I'm not sure as well".

Mia : "Just agree you guys. I'll be an adult in a few months and I have to learn to do things MYSELF without any help".

Mom & Dad : *looks at each other*

Mom : "Okay then. You can go. But PLEASE promise me that YOU WILL be careful".

Mia : "Don't worry Mom. I'll be fine. It's just jogging".

Dad : "Good luck kiddo".

Maddie : "I bet you'll only do this for 5 days MAX".

Mia : "We'll see. Anyways I'm hungry. Lets have dinner".

Mom : "Of course you are".

The Next Morning

*alarm beeping at 5:15am*

Mia : "IM AWAKE. IM awake. I'm awake. Damn. Is it 5:15 already? I better get ready".

*phone starts ringing*

Mia : "Hello?".

Agent Jones : "Are you ready for the training Miss Howard?".

Today's update is also unexpectedly long. I was supposed to add the training part in this but the sub dialogues kept getting longer and longer.

But c'mon Mia. That poor guy was just trying to sell his pizza NO MATTER WHAT. Thats his job. You didn't have to bash him like that 😔😔😔 ( Lmaoo I'm just realising how many times I used the word 'pizza' in this chapter. Someone count 😂 I feel like 'pizza' might be the new adjective or article for me)

I had to add some comedy into this even if it's so random and stupid because WHY NOT 💀🔫

Also I have the tag for it so...i have to MAKE UP FOR THAT. Also who doesn't like a tinge of comedy/romance. I mean if anyone hates it...
