Episode 6

Saturday morning arrived and Luisa was determined to put an end to so much pain, so she left home early without finishing anything. Agustín was waiting for her in his car a few blocks away. She got in and they headed towards their destination.

"To the airport?" Luisa said, surprised. "I thought we were going by car."

"No, love. If your father finds out, he might close all the borders," replied Agustín.

"Understood."

They didn't say anything for the rest of the trip. When they arrived at the airport, Luisa was even more confused.

"Why are we heading to the private area?" she asked, referring to where the private planes and jets were.

Agustín didn't respond.

When they arrived, a plane was waiting for them.

"It's beautiful, my love," she hugged Agustín.

"I love you, Luisa, never forget that. And no matter what happens, remember I didn't have any other options," Agustín said, holding Luisa tightly.

"Why are you saying this, my love?" Luisa stepped back to get a better look at him. "Is something wrong?"

"Don't hate me."

When he said that, Santiago and Ricardo appeared out of nowhere.

"What are they doing here?" Luisa looked at Agustín.

"Forgive me, Luisa, please forgive me," Agustín's eyes filled with tears.

"Why are you asking for forgiveness, Agustín?" Luisa started to get nervous.

"Let me explain, dear daughter," Santiago spoke sarcastically. "The thing is your boyfriend just brought you to the lion's den."

Agustín denied it.

"No, Luisa, they forced me," Agustín tried to defend himself.

Luisa didn't understand anything, but she had a bad feeling.

"TAKE HER AWAY!" Ricardo shouted, and some men came down from the plane.

"Don't touch me, let me go!" Luisa refused to go with them. "Why did you do this to me? I love you!" Tears rolled down her cheeks.

"I'm sorry, Luisa, please forgive me," Agustín distanced himself from her. He couldn't bear seeing the way Luisa looked at him.

Meanwhile, Luisa crumbled as she realized that the man who had told her countless times that he loved her and promised to protect her was leaving her at the mercy of her wicked father and those men. She couldn't believe he was capable of doing this to her. She wished it was all a nightmare and that she would wake up soon.

"Don't you see, Luisa? He just sold you out. He doesn't care about you at all. He never loved you," her father reminded her that it wasn't a nightmare.

She turned her gaze to Agustín, who stood up and looked at her one last time. "Please, my love, don't do this to me," he pleaded, but Agustín continued walking away.

Seeing that, Luisa cried inconsolably. Her chest hurt. She held onto a glimmer of hope, but Agustín's actions spoke louder than words.

"You see, he doesn't love you," her father pushed her back towards the plane. "Nobody loves you." Those words shattered Luisa's heart, and she walked with her head down.

Santiago was briefly moved by her, but his hatred prevailed. Luisa made a final attempt to make her father reconsider.

"Please, Dad, don't hand me over to those men. Help me, I beg you. Forgive me for all the wrong I've done to you. Have mercy on me." Deep down, she wanted to believe that her father would help her.

"Stop making a fool of yourself and accept your fate," he pushed her toward the men, and Luisa fell to her knees.

"What did I do to make you hate me so much? Why have you always treated me this way?" She felt the need to know.

"You're useless to me, Luisa, and what's useless to me, I discard." He turned around and left.

Faced with that response, Luisa resigned herself and boarded the plane. There was nothing she could do now. The person she thought loved her had been a fraud, and her father, well, he had never truly loved her.

Upon boarding the plane, she felt something prick her neck, and she lost consciousness in the arms of those men.
