Episode 11

As Santiago secured various shows, Larissa's talents left audiences astounded and her popularity swelled even more. With each passing day, a producer took interest in the group and set out to launch their career by providing Larissa with songs to perform.

After a show, Santiago, exiting his office, called out to Larissa.

"Larissa!" -Santiago

Larissa turned as she was leaving with her friends to her apartment.

"Yes, Santiago? What happened?" -Larissa

"I need to talk to you."

"About what?"

"Come to my office," Santiago said, gesturing toward the door with his hands.

"Mmm, okay! Girls, I'll catch up with you later."

"Oh, okayyyy!" -her friends exclaimed with smiles on their faces, implying something might happen between them.

Santiago smiled and insisted again that Larissa enter his office.

Larissa entered and stood in the middle of the room as Santiago slowly shut the door, admiring Larissa's beauty.

He sat down and offered Larissa a seat.

"Well??" -Larissa

"I wanted to talk to you about something that's been bothering me for a long time."

"About what? What happened?"

"I have strong feelings for you, it's the first time I feel this way about someone and I know you're also interested in me. We can't deny it." - Santiago

Larissa stayed silent, causing Santiago a sense of urgency.

"Aren't you going to say anything?" -Santiago, rising abruptly from his chair.

"Well, I do feel something for you but you know it's very hard for me. I couldn't give you the love you're expecting and you'd end up getting tired of me. Don't you think??"

"You know, I've thought a lot about that, but I could wait for you, try to help you and it's something you should work on too. You can't live with such a heavy burden."

"And how do I do that?? Tell me?" - Larissa, visibly frustrated.

"Well, think about it, okay?" -Santiago, rubbing his temples. "Do you want me to take you home?"

"Yes, please," -Larissa, who was already on her feet, grabbed her purse, and headed towards the door.

As she walked to the office door, Santiago grabbed her arm, spinning her around, and pushed her against the door, holding both arms as they made eye contact, he tried to move closer to her lips. But Larissa's breathing quickened, and tears began to flow from her eyes, prompting Santiago to let her go quickly.

"I'm so sorry," Santiago stepped back and looked down.

"Can you take me home, please?" -Larissa, wiping away her tears.

They proceeded to the van waiting in the parking lot alongside the chauffeur.

Santiago opened the door for Larissa to get into the van, and then he headed to the other side. Upon entering, silence enveloped the vehicle, and for almost the entire journey, neither could speak a word to the other.

Suddenly, a jolt made the van spin; the force of the impact caused Larissa to hit her head against the window, and she passed out.

Upon waking, Larissa saw Santiago tied up in a chair across from her and quickly realized she was in the same predicament.

"Larissa are you okay??" -Santiago, concerned.

"Where are we?? What happened?"

"Stay calm, we'll get out of this!"

"What are you talking about? What happened??" -Larissa

Before Santiago could answer, a man barged into the room and sat down in front of Santiago.

"Is she your girlfriend?" -The man asked with a mocking smile.

Santiago didn't respond, which prompted the man to stand up, approach Larissa, release her hands from the rope, and take her nape while pointing his gun at Larissa's face.

"Get away from her\, you son of a b****!" -Santiago\, furiously trying to break free.

"We'll have some fun together, won't we, doll?" -The man said as he moved his lips toward Larissa's cheek...

Abruptly dragging Larissa to a room while others stayed with Santiago.

The man grabbed Larissa's hair and pushed her onto the bed. Larissa saw what was coming, but she was no longer the same girl they had hurt before; she was a different woman now. When she fell onto the bed, he lunged at her, but she started fighting back. Through their scuffle, Larissa managed to throw him off the bed. Quickly getting up, she grabbed the gun he'd left on the nightstand. He approached her mockingly, but without hesitation, she pulled the trigger and he fell to the ground, lifeless. Frightened but knowing that if she stayed they might kill Santiago, she acted.

Meanwhile, the men with Santiago laughed upon hearing the gunshot.

"Guess the girl didn't last long," said one of them.

"Maybe she was a tough one," another added.

Santiago screamed Larissa's name, trying to free himself, but one of them pistol-whipped him causing him to fade.

Larissa burst from the room, firing wildly, but Santiago was on the ground, avoiding being hit, while the men tried to shoot back, but Larissa was quicker. Only one was left, but running out of bullets, he ran.

Afterwards, Larissa rushed to the ground to aid Santiago, who had witnessed the entire scene, was shocked, but the head wound made him dizzy.

Larissa grabbed Santiago's phone and called their men to come for them. Upon their arrival, they were shocked, believing Santiago had taken out the assailants, but in truth, it was Larissa. They were stunned by what she had done.

An ambulance was called, and just before boarding, Larissa started to collapse, realizing then a bullet from the assailants had hit her in the stomach. Santiago rushed to her side as she fainted.
