Rum climbed unto the comfortable chair in front of the doctor's own. There were apparatuses around them, sterilized needles and the smell of medicine. One window had been cracked open, and the whole place makes you feel so clean.

" Hello, this will take just a few minutes. Can you cooperate with me, Little miss?"

"Of course!"

The lovely sound of a child, so young and so cute! The doctor smiled and began to do her physical check up.

"Okay, first. Say ahhhh..."

Rum opened her mouth and the doctor probed around. He nodded, saying it looks great before telling his nurse to write down some things. He then checked for her sense of taste, her sense of smell, sense of touch and then sense of pain.

" Hmm.... This... Do you feel this, Little miss?"

He picked up a needle and gently poked her arm. Rum blinked.

"No."

He placed the needle and told her to stand and turn around. Then he suddenly yanked her hair.

"What in the world are you doing?!"

"I'm sorry! I was just testing something!"

Rum knew what he ment. She looked up and smiled.

"Are you checking if Addie feels pain? Addie is fine! Addie doesn't need pain. It's been removed."

"Removed... How, Little one?"

" I promised not to tell~ The doctors said it's our little secret~"

She cheekily made a shush motion and smiled.

Agar frowned, and let the Doctor continue. He worriedly looked at the little girl and continued.

The affairs of the family, he can't do anything about it.

" Okay, let's weigh you and proceed to draw your blood."

"Okay!"

Rum stretched her limbs after that. The Doctor gave her some lollipops after she made no fuss when the blood was drawn.

"Thank you Doctor! You're the nicest doctor I had ever met!"

The Doctor smiled.

"Let's go."

The small girl with long black hair in pigtails followed into the car silently, with a calm face. The man beside her looked bittingly cold and indifferent towards her.

The Doctor was worried, but this was Agar Frey. Who wants to cross such a great business mogul?

Rum sat there unmoving. She was talking to the system but to others outside, she currently indifferent. She sat there without moving and not making a fuss.

Agar looked at her sideways. As if she noticed, she immediately looked at him curiously.

"Are we heading back?"

She suddenly asked. Rum just wanted to know if they had nothing to do outside, so she could go home and look into her space.

The system just told her she could now plant in the system. It made her feel excited, since having somewhere to plant seeds without worrying about mutations and failed crops is amazing especially in the world of the Apocalypse.

Wonder how much grains and root crops could sell for in the Apocalypse? Or if there is no money, what type of currency will she be able to get? It was mentioned that there are crystal nucleouses and hard to get materials from zombies and mutant beasts.

She would also love to get her hands on some mutated monster plants that came from ancient seeds lying dormant under the earth!

Then, just like that she would become the biggest mogul in the Apocalypse! She'll be the one who would fund the male lead and his party and everything will go as planned.

She has money and capability. The smart male lead will surely keep her.

"Yes."

After saying that, he saw her indifferent eyes turn bright, thousands of thoughts seemed to pass by those orbs before she looked out the window with excitement.

"You seem to like the Manor so much, miss."

The right hand man casually exclaimed.

She was smiling rather apologetically, but Rum knew better.

'Props to the Female lead. Her ability to make a ' chance encounter' isn't that bad.'

Agar raised a brow and the right hand man pressed a button to let the window glass down.

Her smile faltered a little when she saw Addie. Rum used her mind reading to know what she was thinking.

'Why is this pest here? She should not be close to my husband at all. Is there anything like this before? But it's impossible, Agar would never love that bitch' s child...'

Rum dumbly looked at her, thinking if she would be disgusted or be disgusted.

Keeping a smile, she beamed at the stranger.

She looked at Agar expectantly, but to her dismay he just sat there looking at the child who now busied herself with a toy she took from her dress's pocket.

Shrine bit her inner cheek. Why did it seem like they're friendly with each other?!

It can't be that her return caused an effect? Does that mean there is also a possibility Agar would not love her?!

Rum glanced out and with a milky voice she called out.

"Beautiful miss should go back to your car and sit there to wait. It's hot outside today, be careful of the heat stroke."

Shrine grinded her teeth in her mind, clenching it into a stiff smile outside.

"Oh, my car is hot too. The AC is not working right now so I would feel hotter inside."

The system chortle.

"Then you should go under the tree to take shelter from the sun. Addie is getting worried for you!"

With sparkling eyes and worried trembling voice, she looked like she was really worried. But in reality Rum who was reading the abusive thoughts of this pretty woman, cursed her out loud for being such a degenerate.

'If you're worried about me, then invite me inside the car you useless bastard child! How dare you occupy the seat that was supposed to be mine?!'

Was one of the things she said.

'Absurd! Why did he let her sit inside the car with him? Before, even if she's a few steps away from him, he'd go mad about how she breathes the same air as her!'
