And just like that, the practice finally begins. Jay plunged his sword towards Amy and she dodged it swiftly. She then flipped her sword towards Jay but he stopped with his own one.

She pushed harder and harder with all the might she had, but it was no use. Jay was much more stronger than her. Eventually her sword went flying away and fell down near an empty barrel.

"Cant beat me, dont even try" he winked at her.

Amy sighed and went towards the barrel to get her sword. Just as she bent down to pick it up, she 1heard a gunshot. Her hands started trembling and she couldn't think of anything else. She was too scared to look behind.

"AM I GONNA DIE!?" She cried out.

"GET YOUR SWORD AND COME BACK ASAP!"

she heard Jimmy's voice. She hurriedly picked it up and closed her eyes, running blindly towards the captain. She bumped into someone but she was caught quickly.

"Stay still, dont open your eyes" It was Jay. As scared as she was, she buried her head on his chest and shut her eyes tightly.

There was a gunshot which made her flinch, but she kept holding on to Jay, just because she didnt wanted to die. "Take the body away, Jimmy"

(BODY!?) Amy started trembling. After a while, Jay told her to open her eyes. She looked around. there was nothing except a few stains of blood on the floor.

"W-what was that!?" She asked.

"You are still holding me, you can let go now" This made Amy blush and she realized she was still holding on to Jay. She immediately let him go and took a few steps back.

"Sorry" she said.

"It was a ship mate, he tried to kill you. I shot him on time" He replied.

(WHAT!? NOW YOU TELLING ME ANYONE ON THE SHIP CAN ATTACK ME ANYTIME TOO!? OH MY GOD NO-) Amy gulped and took a deep breath.

"Thank you for saving me though"

Jay looked at her with rude eyes and left the place. Amy sighed and looked at Jimmy who was standing next to her.

"Dont worry about being attacked anonymously, i will save you!" He smiled at her which made her feel a rush of relief. "huh!? Oh! THANK YOU! But.... It felt like you read my mind lol" She laughed nervously.

"iam good at reading expressions, just like i read yours right now" He replied. "And right now your expressions tell me you need a delicious snack!" He smiled and took her hand.

"WHA-what!?" She gasped. "Lets go eat something!" He laughed. "Yeah, i was kinda hungry too" She gave him a slight smile and walked along him.

"Can i ask you something?" She said. "Sure! As long as it isnt something related to Jay. His work is all secret" he replied.

"no no! Its about you actually. Why are you not like the other pirates?" This made Jimmy shocked. "what do you mean by that?"

"I mean, all the other pirates including Jay are cold and cruel. You been so sweet with me and Travis since the day you met us. What's the reason?" She asked.

"Well, i dont know either. Pirates can be good too. Just like your brother believes" He smiled.

"He believes on everything"

"is that so? How?"

"Like he always believed in pirates, he wrote stories about them all the times and he wanted to be a pirate himself too" she stated.

"Wow, what a beautiful lad." Jimmy smiled. Something in his smile was so charming that Amy kept looking at him.

"I wonder if the captain ever smiles" She giggled.

"He used to" Jimmy replied in a rather sad tone.

"Really? Unbelievable" She replied crossing her arms.

"Anyways! What do you wanna eat?" He asked. " I dont know, maybe some pizza?" Jimmy looked at her.

"Oh! My bad! You probably doesn't know about pizza?" She asked. Jimmy let out a laugh. "Lol of course we know what it is. We arent that type of urban pirates" He chuckled.

" but this ship really does look urban. Its like i just jumped back to 80's" she laughed. "Yeah this is because the ship actually is old" he stated.

"Wait here, i will go tell the chef to prepare pizza for us right away. Dont go anywhere, okay?" His cute smile melted Amy's heart to some core. She smiled back at him. He was the only person on this ship whom Amy was now comfortable with.

Jimmy left and Amy waited in the hallway for him. "I wish i had some music, or my phone with me" she sighed and leaned back to the wall.

"Greetings, poor girl" she looked beside her.

"W-who are you?" She asked. It was a tall and blonde girl. She had blonde hair.

And Amy had obviously never seen her before.

"Kellen, Kellen Jay" she replied. "oh, nice to meet y-" Amy's eyes widened when she realized her last name.

"You are related to.... The captain?" She asked.

"Yes, we are engaged" Amy felt a sting of pain in her heart. But She couldn't understand why.

"Oh i see" she replied in a low voice.

"Did i crumble your dreams?" The girl laughed

"HUH!? WHAT DO YOU MEAN!?"

"Dont act all innocent now, you want Jay. Dont you? Isnt that why you came here?" Kellen asked angrily

"Of-course not! I was dragged here!? Why would i leave my life of peace to get here in this chaotic ship?" Amy explained herself.

"DO YOU REALLY CALL A BROKE, POOR LIFE A LIFE OF PEACE!?" Kellen burst out in laughter.

Amy closed her eyes. She already had enough of everything. She wanted to slap the living shit out of this girl but she couldn't stir more trouble for herself.

"What do you want from me?" Amy asked in a miserable way. "What could i want from someone as poor as you? I have everything you ever dreamt of"

Amy sighed, she was kind of right. "You must have a reason to come here up to me" Amy replied. "About that" kellen grabbed Amy by her collar.

"ARRGHH!! L-LEAVE ME!" Amy grunted. "I shouldn't be seeing you lurking around Jay ever again, or else i will chock you to death" Kellen warned and let go of Amy's collar.

She then walked away, leaving Amy in a state of complete shock. "What the hell!?" She thought.

Millions of questions were running around in her head. She hated everyone in this place. And now, this strange girl was one of them.

"AMY!" it was Jimmy's voice. He rushed towards Amy and grabbed her hand.

"our pizza is ready! come lets eat!" He led her towards the kitchen.

"WOAH!! THIS IS THE KITCHEN!?" Amy gasped as she looked all around. "isnt it a bit enormous to be a kitchen?" she laughed nervously. Jimmy shook his head. "well, our stomachs are still bigger so" Amy let out a laugh. He sure is hilarious.

Amy and Jimmy took a seat and began eating. "Mmmm!!! its delicious!" She said, while gobbing down piece after piece. "You must really like pizza?" Jimmy asked, with a smile. "Yes i do! everyone does!" She replied.

"And....." it looked like Amy had something else to tell Jimmy too. "you wanna tell me something?" He asked, knowingly. "Yes, actually. I met a girl when you left me in the hallway" Jimmy nodded his head.

"iam listening" he said. "She approached me first. I thought she was new here or something because i have never seen her before." Amy stopped for a second and took a deep breath. "She told me she is Jay's fiancè and...." Her sigh felt shakingly miserable and sad. Jimmy was actually quick enough to notice this.

"She wasnt nice to me either. I shouldn't say this i know! She is the ship's important person! but...." Amy put down her slice of pizza and sighed. "She still was rude, she thinks that iam trying to steal Jay away from him" She continued.

"I see..." Jimmy's brows narrowed a bit upon hearing all this. He looked at Amy. "She must he Kellen? was that her name?" He asked, Amy nodded in a yes. "Dont worry about her, ignore her talk. She really is a useless person around here, Not even Jay listens to her" Jimmy assured.

"Unfortunately, she really is Jay's financè." Amy let out a slight sigh and looked down. "Are you feeling okay?" Jimmy asked worriedly. "Y-yes! I'm, see?" She forced a smile and looked at Jimmy.

"*****Do you perhaps have feelings for Jay*****?"

Amy chocked on her food. "U-UH NO!? WHY WOULD I HAVE FEELINGS FOR HIM!?" She cleared her throat before speaking again. "he is just a Captain to me and i respect him" She stated.

"That's good because he is a player"

"Huh!?" Amy's eyes widened as she looked at Jimmy in shock. "he has broken the hearts of many, i repeat MANY girls up until today. Some of them even died in an attempt to make him theirs." He replied. "I see, as expected"

"So be careful of him, dont fall for someone like him and destroy your life. He really is a brute, being his most close person, i can assure you that"

The word's unknowingly hurted Amy to a high extent. There was some hope in her heart. It all crushed this day.

(and here i was having some feelings for him.... how stupid am i?) she thought.

"Then how come, Kellen.....?" Jimmy took a deep breath.

"Jay won't marry her, ever. I tried explaining to her, that Jay is not someone she can trust easily, but all she saw in him was gold and diamonds. His attitude towards her, she couldn't care less" He replied.

"a gold digger basically"
