Chapter 5: The Wedding That Went Wrong

"Aimee... we're already at the peak of bankruptcy! how could you still bring another person here?", Alexandra ranted

"Mom... I can't just leave her behind. After all, I might be the reason why she lost her memories", Aimee answered

"Then you should lessen your stupidity on things next time. You can't even help us in the business yet you have this guts to bring another useless person like you here?"

"Xiao... stop it!", Alexandra interrupted. "You just arrived and you're saying things like that again"

"Mom...", silently called Aimee. " She's right. I'm not of help in the business~ in the family..."

"Pft! here comes the drama", said Xiao then went upstairs.

Alexandra just sighed then came closer to Aimee

"Aimee... I can understand. You feel responsible for what happened and it's not wrong to help but as you can see... we also need help now and we can't have any other person to feed", Alexandra explained.

"I... I will find work", Aimee suggested. "I'll accompany her... let's keep her at least until she remembers something"

"hmm ... alright. If that's what you like"

"Thanks, mom"

Sushie went to find Aimee when she can't wait for her in the room. Everything is unfamiliar to her yet she's trying to learn things easily. Sushie found Aimee on the balcony and just staring at nowhere

"Why are you making yourself bothered on me? You can just let me go", asked Sushie and Aimee just gave a sigh

"Did you hear it all? I told you to stay in the room"

"I did. I just can hear you from a distance", Sushie said in her mind.

" I ...I can't do such. My conscience won't let me live peacefully", Aimee suddenly responded. " I'd rather do other ways to help than give up"

Sushie then took some diamonds in her clothes and gave them to Aimee

"These stones ...seem like has a high value in this world. You can take it. I saw this from the people in the box", Sushie added

"People in the box?.....ahh that's television", Aimee concluded. "Is this the first time that you saw one?"

"Y...yes", said Sushie. "We don't have it in my world"

"Your world... you mean in your place right?", said Aimee then smiled. " You act and talk differently. Anyway, you should keep those and don't let others see it or you'll be in danger"

"I'll keep that in mind", Sushie responded. " But you should take these and just consider me as a tenant"

" You learn fast in that box huh", Aimee said teasingly then both laugh

"Yon Zue already told me about you", said Chipi. " So, what's your name, and where is your place?"

"Shiya... I'm Shiya. I don't know if you can understand but I'm sure that I'm not from this world", Shiya responded.

"I don't know what to say more. I'm getting worried about Sushie", said Chipi

"Who is Sushie by the way"

"Hmm... as you know. She will be marrying Prince Liu and she will be a princess. But, before that... she's a great warrior from the Elf Tribe. Sushie is a smart and strong girl with a pure heart. If you saw her... you can already see how cool she is. She's the only one who could possess that powerful stone

"She's just an amazing one", Shiya concluded without understanding anything

" How about Yon Zue?"

"Huh?"

"You know...that cold guy", said Shiya, and Chipi giggle

"He is really a cold one. He rarely talks to other people unless it's about the Eri Castle. He's strict and he doesn't seem to get attracted easily to girls. I don't know if he's even interested even though there's a lot of girls who already confessed to him", Chipi answered. " He's a close friend of the Prince. He's a nice person if you got to know him better. Eri Castle is our kingdom and he's dedicated to serve people"

"Pft! nice person my foot! how can he be a nice person when I almost get killed by him?", Shiya said in her mind. " When will I woke up in this dream tho...I already sleep and woke up but I'm still here. This is taking too long"

"Chipi", called Althea as she enters the room. "Everyone is already outside and we need to get the princess now"

"Alright. We're already prepared too", Chipi said. "Let's go, princess"

Shiya feels so nervous after seeing lots of people who attend the ceremony. She is walking in the aisle and she's getting slower and slower. Everyone is looking at her. Prince Liu is already waiting under the beautiful big tree which is surrounded by dots of shining blue lights while Pixies are showering the place with pixie dust and flowers around. Behind the Prince was the Queen who's sitting in a big flower that serves as her temporary throne in the place of the wedding ceremony.

Yon Zue is beside Prince Liu. He was standing so firm. He always has his sword with him and his sacred bow and arrow. Yon Zue suddenly moves forward in her direction when she stops walking.

"Just act naturally and don't make a mess. Walk faster too" Yon Zue whispered then offers his hand to her but Shiya just look at him badly yet she still take it

There are only a few steps away from the prince when Shiya stops walking again. Shiya looks at the Prince and it reminds her of the person who betrayed her...Xyon.

"Stop!", Shiya shouted. Everyone looks uneasy and so as Yon Zue.

"Princess...", Yon Zue whispered. "What are you doing?"

"I... I can't marry the Prince", Shiya continued and ignore Yon Zue's rant then suddenly hold his hand and look at him

"Yon Zue... don't let me marry the Prince. I'm carrying our precious child and you know that"

Everyone is shocked and started to create noise from what Shiya said so Yon Zue felt awkward

"Princess... what are you talking about?", Yon Zue responded nervously then turns red

"What does this mean?", asked the Queen.

Both the Queen and the Prince was shocked

"Yon Zue... you never told me about this", said Prince Liu

"I need an answer! what's the meaning of this?", the Queen exclaimed

"I...", Yon Zue can't respond to them appropriately so he abruptly veers around his head to Shiya but she just put on a smile at him

"If you're taking revenge... well this is not funny", Yon Zue whispered to Shiya yet she moved closer to his face and kiss him on the lips. Yon Zue went blank for a minute and tried to push her away but he can't manage to move so he just holds his breath. Shiya then let go of him a bit then their eyes met

"Shiya... what the heck are you doing? this revenge went too far", said in her mind. " Woah... he's so damn more handsome this close"

Shiya came to her senses then started to drip then felt uncomfortable

"Sushie!", Chipi grasp when she suddenly collapsed in the arms of Yon Zue

"The only choice left", Shiya said in her mind.

Yon Zue sighed and felt aggravated for knowing that she was deluding yet he still manage to carry her

"Forgive me. I will be back", Yon Zue said then carry Shiya back to her room

Yon Zue slammed the door from Sushie's room then drop Shiya on the bed

"Aww", Shiya look at Yon Zue badly

"Shi... Sushie", Chipi whispered

" Let's talk later", Yon Zue said coldly then went out from the room

"Is it true?? are you really... expecting a baby? from Yon Zue?", asked Chipi in confusion

"Uhm no", Shiya answered in a low tone. " I... I just don't like to take the plunge with the Prince"

"Oh no... but... have you ever thought that this could get Yon Zue in trouble?", asked Chipi

After hearing that. Shiya started to get worried then analyze what happened earlier

"Will he be alright? Will, he gonna...die?"

"The Queen could order that...", Chipi retorted.

"Really? but .... he's the Prince friend isn't it?"

"That's even worst! the Prince might feel betrayed and the Queen could lose her trust in him", Chipi assumed.

After some thoughts...Shiya hastily went running outside to follow Yon Zue. She went back to the event's place but no one was there anymore. She kept on searching until she spotted Althea.

"Have you seen Yon Zue?", Asked Shiya

"He went to the Queen's quarters Princess", Althea responded. "Are you feeling alright now?"

"I'm ... alright. Thanks", said Shiya as she walks away then turn back again

"Will you ...tell me where the Queen's quarters are?"

"How... come that you don't know where it is Princess?", asked Althea in confusion

"Ah... I... sometimes lost my way too?...", Shiya conceded nervously. "I'll just go ahead then"

" Wait! Princess... that's not the way to the Queen's quarters", Althea said. "Go this way and turn left"

"Ah yes... I remember now. Thank you"

Althea was left blank and still confused for a while then she decided to look for Chipi

They look at Shiya as she suddenly barges in in the Queen's quarters. She was catching her breath and sweating from running yet she still tried to talk

"Don't... don't kill Yon Zue", Shiya said. " It's all my fault... I'm not pregnant and Yon Zue doesn't know what I just said earlier. Please don't take his life... you can just punish me instead"

Silence took the place then the Prince laugh

"Do you dislike me this much that you thought of evading the marriage in that? I'm just wondering why you hate me... like we don't even talk much before isn't it?", asked Prince Liu

"I... I can't marry you. I'm sorry", Shiya conceded.

"Hmm. Do you like Yon Zue?", asked Prince Liu so Shiya looked at Yon Zue then it reminds her of the kiss earlier and she turns red

"Prince... how could you say that?", Yon Zue interrupted. "I just came back recently in the Palace and we only met the other day and you know that"

"No one's to be killed", said the Queen. " Yon Zue isn't interested in any girls around the Castle. He's busy with so many things"

"Queen...", called Erica, the Queen's advisor. "It's better to talk about this tomorrow when everyone is calm"

After a few minutes, the three went out of the Queen's quarters.

"Queen... you should control what you feel", said Erica. "A Queen is on the throne to rule the Eri Kingdom. You need to...",

"I know...", the Queen answered. " I will be careful next time. I won't fall to anyone"

"Yon Zue", called the Prince. Shiya was still with them while walking away from the Queen's quarters.

"I need you to guide Sushie. Do anything that can help her to be back as the same sushie", Said Prince Liu. "She's more comfortable with you", Prince Liu added as she looked at Shiya yet she responded with a smirk.

"I'll follow what you say my Prince", answered Yon Zue then the Prince walk ahead faster and both Shiya and Yon Zue was left behind

Yon Zue was about to say something to Shiya when she suddenly ran away and it made him smile a bit
