Chapter 2: The Peak of Confusion

"What are you doing Xyon? Why didn't you just leave her to die?"

"We need to keep her alive... she holds the biggest share in the company~ you need to calm yourself, Xiao", Xyon replied.

" So...what are you planning to do? I can't stand being your secretary anymore!", Xiao ranted.

Xyon just smiled and come closer to her then held her hand.

"Sweetheart...we're almost there. The company will be ours and after that, we don't need to hide our relationship anymore. I need you to have more forbearance on this okay?", Xyon clarified.

" Hmft!"

Shiya silently cries after listening to their conversations. Shiya pretended to sleep that time yet both don't have the idea that she had already learned about their affair.

"How dare you two to deceive me like this!!", said Shiya in her mind.

Shiya finally opens her eyes after Xiao departs from the room. And Xyon was left sighing.

" Shiya...", Xyon murmured after discerning that she was glancing at him then he came closer to her. "I'm glad you're awake. I was so worried about you ~ why did you do such a thing?"

Shiya was just looking at him coldly yet she decided to keep up steady

"Tell me... how did you find me in that place?"

"I... I asked someone to follow your car. I was worried that you might do something. I know that you're not fine about the news... your dad is..."

"Stop it!", Shiya shouted. " I don't want to hear those words"

"I'm...sorry", Xyon responded. " I asked you to wait for me. I will reach out to you after completing my work but I didn't find you and then... you... you did this"

"I came to your workplace and found you kissing that girl you jerk!", Shiya said to her mind.

" I... I want to be alone. Please close the door when you leave."

Xyon just sighed.

"Okay... just tell me everything when you're ready. Have some sleep now.", Xyon said then he kissed her.

" That would be the last kiss Xyon... from now on... you'll never have my heart again", Shiya mumbled as she silently alleviate rips again. "You should just let me perish than seeing you flirting right in front of my eyes"

She was peeking at the window after some minutes and a butterfly entice her attention. It suddenly reminds her of something.

"Eri Castle... everything was just a dream after all.", Shiya concluded. " What a nightmare"

Eriland...

"Yon Zue... what happened? Why did you let her leave the Palace?", Prince Liu asked worriedly as he gaze at Sushie

" Prince Liu... the Princess can insure herself better than anyone else. It doesn't worry me seeing her leave the Castle but... she's acting strange so I still pursued her discreetly. Something's wrong with her...", Yon Zue concluded.

"What do you mean?"

" Chipi also came to me and mumble things about her. I will talk over this with the Queen."

"Yon Zue. Why are you so mean to me? You call me Prince but you don't say it all to me. I can't discern it all. You always discuss things clearly with my younger sister...do you like her?", the Prince ranted.

" She's the Queen", Yon Zue answered and he walks away. " I need to hold up the Princess to her quarter first. You're talking so much and I'm having cramps already."

"Hey...Yon Zue!"

Prince Liu and Yon Zue grew up together and both trained with the same master. They only got separated after the Prince started to do his responsibility as a Prince of Eri Kingdom and Yon Zue became the comprehensive of the royal guards in the Castle. He became covert with the knowledge inside and doesn't make attachments with other people. Both are busy and they barely see each other but brotherhood is still present in them

Flashback...

"We need to marry the Prince to the one who could possess the stone so that the kingdom will be stronger than any other kingdom my Queen.", Erica proposed. She is the advisor of the Queen who can foresee the future of the Castle. She became a good friend of the young Queen. She watched her as she grew up. The Queen can't be renovated and was only chosen according to the prophecy that they believe.

" Yes... but hopefully...my brother will acknowledge that.", Queen Krystle concluded. " I don't have the right to decide for his private life. After all, he's my older brother."

"It wasn't a bad idea. I'll acknowledge anything that would protect the castle and the Queen", Prince Liu answered as he reached the room.

" Prince Liu...", both gripped.

"Don't worry about that my Queen. I will do as what the Queen orders me to do"

Then the three smile

Sushie was just roaming around and giving some thought about what she heard a while back.

"Well, I like Prince Liu tho. It would be fine.", Sushie concluded. " But...why do I feel sad and empty?"

Sushie holds the stone in her neck

"You're the only reason for marrying him huh? I guess I would be spending my life with a person who doesn't feel anything about me. It's just me and his responsibility."

Then Sushie spread her wings and feel the air as she closes her eyes. She began to fly. Everything around seems so fine and peaceful not until the sky turns gray and suddenly a thunderbolt struck to different directions and one hit her and she fell

"Aww...what was that now?", Sushie felt odd in that. " Oh no...my wings... "

"Yo... Sushie. What's up? That was a beautiful landing"

giggles

"Arnoux...what do you want?"

"Nah you look scary. Chill... don't look at me like that. It's just my way of saying hello to you.", Arnoux retorted.

" You're after the stone again?. Ain't you going to stop? I already retain it and you can't even touch it so why are you wasting your time?"

"Yeah yeah, we can't do anything about it so... Ornaphendreul asked me to accompany you.", Arnoux replied.

" Then accompany me well", Sushie said as she transform the stone into a sword. She got the elf ears and armor that conserves her from any weapon.

Sushie is a great girl warrior from the Elf Tribe who can regulate the power of the stone that everyone wishes to have. Arnoux is no match for her. Yet in her condition right now... she got hurt from getting struck by a thunderbolt that broke her wing. She still got Arnoux cornered and put him in the peak of his death, not until an arrow came from nowhere and hit the sword that made it go back to its original form... an ordinary stone.
