Her decision

After inhaling some air in her lungs she spoke up. ''' What are you telling me to say now? what do I have to do? ''. '' It's very much simple. You can choose one of us between us or reject us both we can't take this broken relationship any longer, '' Adrian remarks shouting his voice filled with sorrow.

Thundering and lightning were making the air heavier and heavier even though it was raining. Layla was feeling sick. ''' However easy it may sound it's not easy at all. How can I choose someone among you both? '' asks Layla.

'' Why can't you? '' Samuel asks who was sitting on the chair. '' It's hard for me because I love you both dearly. You both are my dear friends. How can I choose one among you? Even the thought scares me. You were the ones who could understand me when no one could. My love for music is the burning fire in my heart it was burning because of you both. That day on the contest I still remember that seeing you play I became even more addicted to it and this is because of you both ''.

'' If it wasn't for you I would not have been able to find the fun in playing. Then how can I choose one among you ? '' hearing her words was piercing their hearts with an arrow. They were recalling the days when they had first met.

'' But the past is past now. We are not kids anymore now. And now we want you to make a decision. Whom do you like out of us both? '' Samuel asks. '' I ....'' Layla mutters. '' Say now please, '' Adrian begs. '' I can't continue like this ''.

'' I love you both I can't choose between either of you '' she replies. '' How' s that possible? come to your senses now '' Samuel ridicules. '''' Yeah, that's not fair give us a straight answer,'' asserts Adrian.

'' This is my answer I can't choose between either of you. This is my final decision '' she replies.

She was about to leave '' I will make the dinner now''. Samuel stops her from leaving.

'' Wait you can't go like this you need to listen to what I want to say to you ''.

'' What is it ? '' she asks.

'' Face me '' he commands.

She faces him.

' I love you I wanted to confess to you properly. Would you like to be my girlfriend? '' he asks.

''' This question is so much hard for me to answer '' she replies.

'' This is cheating I want to propose to you too. Layla, I love you '' Adrian says holding onto the other hand.'' I had loved you ever since I met you and I still love you and I will always love you even if you reject me. Will you marry me ? '' he gets down onto his legs.

'' I can't choose between you. Help me, '' she replies.

'' You can't choose? '' asks Samuel.

'' Yes I can't '' she replies.

'' Then be ours both. You will be both of our muses. Sounds good right ? '' he asks. ''' Is that fine with you Adrian? ''. '' Yes it's fine with me as long as I have you ''' he replies.

'' But ? this will seem weird this three-way relationship '' Layla mutters.

''It may be weird in the eyes of others but in our eyes of us, it is normal. If we can't have you nothing matters not even social viewpoints,'' Adrian asserts.

'' I want you and nothing else matters for that '' Samuel remarks.

''' Me too I want to have you nothing more matters in that '''' Adrian affirms.

'' Will you be ours? our muse to inspire us? '''.

'' I .... am not sure whether I can be your muse or not. All the people around me I cause nothing but suffering for them '' she mutters.

'' You are not making us suffer at all you are our muse. We all want nothing but you,'' Adrian kisses the top of her hand.

'' Me too, '' says Samuel.

'' I think that I should go and make something for all of us to eat now we have the candle,'' Layla hurriedly runs from there to the kitchen.

'' What kind of a situation was that? '' she thoughts to herself.

'' Why is m heart beating so fast? why does it feel as if it will jump out right this instant? is this a disease? who can cure it? hey god please tell me what should I do? '',

'' I should work that will ease my mind off '' she thought. She was in the darkness out of all light. Then came they both with the candle in their hands.

'' What are you doing in the dark? you need some light '' says a voice approaching the kitchen.

She was by the sink. Her face glowed with light.

'' Let me stay in the dark it feels comfortable '' she closes her eyes.

'' No it doesn't we both will help you to cook in this rainy weather '' Adrian says.

'' But '' Layla utters.

'' Where are the vegetables ? in the fridge ? '' asserts  Samuel heading towards the fridge and opening the door he brought out the vegetables. '' I will get the dishes '' says Adrian.

Samuel was cutting the vegetables and Adrian was making them. Turning on the stove Layla was looking at the flames it was as if the flames were burning her heart. '' Layla put the frying pan onto the stove and pour in a little oil " Samuel tells her.

Layla was absent-minded. '' Can you hear me? hey Layla, what are you thinking? ''' Samuel stops cutting the vegetables and grabs her and shrugging her off a little he called. '' Are you lost somewhere ? ''.

Layla was taken back to reality now. ''' What's wrong ? '' asked Layla. '' Well I had been calling you for a while and you were not answering. Are you thinking about something? '' he asked.

''' Ah no it's nothing maybe my mind was off to somewhere else ''' she replies. ''' Pour in some oil in the pan then ''' he asserts. '' Alright,'' she takes the jr of the oil and pours it in.

Adrian who had gone upstairs comes back now and saw them. '' How about some dessert? want a jelly ? '' asks Adrian. ''' I would very much like it what about Layla? '' Samuel remarks. ''' I love it too '' she replies her answer was in a very low voice.

''' Layla come help me make the jelly '' Adrian requests. She first hesitates then nods her head over to his side to help him. Adrian was making her talk but she wasn't replying most of the time and Adrian couldn't understand why she was doing this.

It was at that time while cooking. Samuel accidentally put some wine thinking of it as cooking wine and poured it onto the steak. Without knowing Adrian he also mixed something into the dessert. No one knows what mistake they have done.

Now all the cooking is done for now. They were about to start eating. They had prepared curry and steak and salad and also dessert as jelly. ''' It's delicious '' comments Samuel. '' Also the jelly '' remarks Adrian.

''' How do you like the food Layla ? '' asks Samuel. '''' Ah hmm it's good ''. '''  You are eating silently without saying anything this is a good candlelight dinner isn't it Samuel? ''' Adrian asserts.

''' Yup it is. The ambiance and the mood and the atmosphere it's really good. And our heroine she's looking pretty too '''.

''' Wish this time would go on forever ''' comments Adrian.

''' But it won't go on forever ''' Layls's words pierced through their skins and it had struck onto their hearts. ''' What are you saying it can go on forever if we want to '' Adrian asserts trying hard to smile ''' We can try if we want to ''.

''' He's right if only we want we can keep this relationship forever. No matter who wants to part us they won't succeed. Even destiny can't part us '''.

They kept eating silently. Raging storm and thunder along with the rain. It was making the atmosphere heavy. After that when their dinner was over they were washing dishes together.

It was at that time Samuel was staring at Layla. She somehow dropped the plate and she got down to pick it up. When she got down the hem of her top was revealing her cleavage a little Samuel was staring at it intently. Adrian saw this and he also was looking at her from behind.

When she got up she couldn't understand what was happening around her.
