Chapter 2 Heartbroken

It was indeed my husband. His profile was a rose and diamond ring, which he bought for me on Valentine's Day. He said that our wedding rings weren't good enough because we were financially challenged at that time. So he especially bought me a five-carat diamond ring. He also gave me lovely roses. I casually took some photos and put them online to show our affection. He used one of the pictures as his profile.

Morley quickly swiped her phone and I could see some of their chats. My heart beat faster. I even felt that it was difficult to breathe, just like a fish that had suddenly been thrown to the river bank.

"Make them screenshots and send them to me. Perhaps they are forged. Maybe you've edited them to make a prank. Or perhaps you were talking about work?" I said calmly.

She smiled. "I won't give them to you. Just read them like this. Don't keep the evidence."

"Alright then. Slow down and let me see them clearly." I said.

As she slowed down, I could see my husband calling her darling in the middle of the night. He even said that he liked her smell and the way she looked when she was under him...

Everything in front of me became blurry. I felt that everything around me was shaking, just like an earthquake. But I knew that there was no earthquake in real life. But there was one in my own life.

"Mrs. Atton, you don't look well?" She noticed my strangeness and put away her phone, deliberately provoking me.

"Yes, I'm not feeling well. You make me sick." I was still smiling, but I felt the muscles on my face hurt. "You seduced my husband and slept with him. How shameless you are! But you are proud of this. Do you know what morality is?"
