Getting someone’s attention is also work of art you have to be talented in this, and not everyone is talented for example I. I even don’t remember how long it is that I like Sean and I don’t know when my liking turned in to love. Even though all my focus is on him I am hesitant to communicate. It’s my fear of getting rejected. At this speed I think I am going to live a lonely life because later or sooner someone gonna get his attention.

While I was thinking all about this someone was observing me carefully. I felt the heat of his eyes which are consistently starting at me. I looked at him while everyone was arguing who’s gonna drive the car. He smiled at me and came closer.

What are you worried about. Are you cold.

Yeah it’s pretty cold here. I took shower this morning so I am freezing.

How about you sit in the front seat heater works well there you will be warm in no time. Ok. Aaron told me and he barg in the argument ok guys end of discussion. Everyone is freezing here. Let’s get it over with I am gonna drive.

But Joan wasn’t backing off because Molly challenged him.

Finally Joan was driving with the condition that Molly will sit in the front seat. I wasn’t feeling well and I didn’t want anyone to notice me more than that so I jumped at the end and thought I don’t care who’s going to sit with me. I just want to be warm. Aaron sat with me. He looked very happy. I just smiled a little. Shery and Sean sat in the middle seat. I just thought one more houre and we will be there. Until this point I was sure I am going to have fever and cold. I was just sad in my heart. I am going to ruin my most awaited moment where finally I was able to spend sometime with Sean. Not only mine May be everyone’s trip. I can just hope it won’t turn out the way I am thinking of it. But right now everyone is happy and as long as I can hide this from them I think everything will be ok I just have to take some medicine as soo as we arrived there. My eyes were closing and I snoozed off in no time.

I woke up in between for a while and snooze off again. I just here some voices but I can’t control on myself to wake up fully. Finally car stopped I opened my eyes and to my embarrassment I was in Aaron’s arms sleeping soundly. What will Sean think of me. I don’t know if he looked behind or not. I should have more control on myself I was thinking all about that while leaving his arms. I quietly said sorry.

He said no worries you are good. You had a good sleep.

Are we arrived. I asked him.

No the the tire is broken I think Joan and Sean is checking it. Shery replied.

Aaron said let me check it too and he also get out of the car.

I asked from shery. Where are we?

Middle of no where. Shery replied.

Molly was looking at me and she asked how are you. You are sleeping to much today and quieter then normal. Is everything good?

Yeah it’s just that I was so tired yesterday and I didn’t slept well last night.

You must be excited like me. Shery said

I said yeah.

Yeah very excited Molly said while smiling at me.

I smiled back and asked what happened.

Well it was a bad idea to let Joan drive in this road if I knew I would never asked him. Molly said.

Well this road is old and broken he is here first time and his focus was also in you all the time. It was granted. Shery said.

Don’t blame on me it is all his mistake. Let’s wait and see what happens. Molly said.

Yeah we are not that far anyway. Shery said

We looked outside they were repairing the tires. It’s freezing outside. I said

Thank goodness it’s sunny today but morning are mornings always colder. Molly said

I hope they are fine in this freezing cold there is nothing else we can do. Shery said

And after that there was a long silence inside the car. After a while Aaron peeked inside the car and said I think we are almost done. Two and half hour journey now becomes three hours.

Sean also knocked on the mirror. Shery slides the window down and he said there is some hot water and some snacks if someone wants it.

My throat was dry so I said I want some warm water. Sean came inside the car and he poured the hot water in a cup while handing over the cup he looked at me and said the water is hot be careful ok.

I will thank you I said. I took the water from him. There was unusual silence in the car I noticed everyone is looking at me. What happened. Why you guys looking at me.

You look like a red rose. Shery said

Everyone start looking away. Am I? I looked toward Molly she was smiling and she gave me a thumbs up. But little she know it’s not my beauty but the fever. I hope we arrive earlier so I can take some medicine.

I was in deep thought blowing my hot water. Suddenly Sean’s cold hand touched my cheeks. It was surprising I almost jumped I spilled some hot water on his hands.

Oh my gosh I am sorry Sean. I didn’t see that coming and your hands are so cold. I just hold his hand in my one hand cup in the other. I start blowing his hand. Probably no body saw his action touching my cheek but why would he do that.

Shery was angry what’s wrong with you how did you burn his hand.

It’s not burnd I am fine shery. Sean told shery and than he take off his hand from my hands and hold my hand with both hands and said.

It’s so cold outside but your hands are warm. Sean asked me.

Well he don’t look romantic but serious I thought than why is he holding my hand front of everyone.

He did that again he was holding my hand with one of his hand now and his hand was on my cheek and than he touched my forehead.

It was quite surprising for everyone that’s why they were just looking at us.

Are you having fever Zeen. He paused for a second while his eyes were fixed on me. He asked again you are having fever right? I wasn’t able to answer. He blow up my secret. Now I get it he was curious so he did that to make sure. It must be because I always blush when he pays attention to me and plus the fever. I got caught. I didn’t have any other way so I lied.

I don’t think so. It’s warm inside the car because of heater and you were outside your hands are too cold.

Oh really. Sean said

Everyone start touching my forehead to check my temperature. Everyone was worried.

Are you realy sick Zeen. Why didn’t you told us.

I don’t know I am not sure. I think I am going to be fine. Don’t worry guys.

Oh Zeen how did I not noticed that I am coming and sitting with you. Moly said while she changed her seat and sat with me. She hugged me.

Your voice is also changed. You need rest. You shouldn’t have hide this from us. Sean said

Yeah Zeen you shouldn’t have hide it from us. We could have arranged it another time. Should we go back guys. Aaron said

There must be some medicine there right Sean. Joan said

What if she get worse it’s remote area. Shery said

I was listening to everyone. They look upset.
