I think I’ll be in my way to Incheon when you read my letter. If destiny is with us then we’ll meet in any way. I’ve never thought that you’ll come into my faded life and make it colourful. Your caring nature, your gentleman like personality, your scoldings, your tapping habit, you being protective and possessive…. everything just made my heart pound… For so long I’ve been waiting to share you that  how I started liking you.

      THE BEGINNING OF MY LOVE

That incident I remembered very clearly. The day when you took me to the park ,when we were 10. How can I forget that time. You went to bring ice-cream for me and the way you told me to not to go anywhere until you come.. lol..how protective you seemed!! But the stupid me who started wandering to find you…and I still can imagine the fear I had in my eyes. But then I loose hope and squatted down with the tears in my eyes and then suddenly I could hear your foot steps …the tears made my eyes blurry but when you stood me up and hugged me tightly only then did I know that it was none other than you. That hug was so warm and so fresh. But I didn’t remember anything after that as I got fainted and you took me to the hospital. You know in the morning when I saw that you were standing there and waiting for me to open my eyes that’s the time I first started falling for you. I don’t know when we will meet again but I just wanted to say that…

 I love you….mm..not in a bestie way huh!!

I guess this is the only way to confess you and I think it is the best way coz I don’t have to face you…and even if you call me your best friend in return…I won’t have a chance to listen to it lol…

kim-ji-hoon was overwhelmed and was out of words.

His eyes were filled with tears and he ran out from the class with the letter in his hands.

Author’s pov

He ran towards his home and begins to murmur.

“ I don’t know why but my heart is aching right now. Is it because I don’t want her to leave? or may be it’s just my overwhelming emotions which are choking out. I just don’t understand what am I doing now. Wait what if I go home and she has already left for airport? No no that won’t happen. I’ll meet her!! I want to see her face just for once then only I’ll be in relief.”

He reached at the door and sees lock. He starts screaming and shouting.

His mom came out from the next door and told him “ what happened kim-ji-hoon ? Why are you shouting?

He says while grieving “she left?”

“but you already met her” kim-ji-hoon’s mom said

“No I wanted to see her for once. Can you tell me when she left to the airport?”

“Oh I think it’s been 15 minutes since she left . She might have reached to the airport.”

“got it!! tell me what’s the take-off time?” He started panicking.

“Umm..I think in 30 minutes”

“But why are you asking so many questions?” kim-ji-hoon’s mom asked.

“It’s because I want to meet her”

He starts running and stops a taxy and says “I’m going to airport mom”

Kim-ji-hoon’s mom said “Fine!! you can go.” In a sweet voice as if she has no issues with it.

He sits in the taxy and says to the taxy driver “please hurry up sir we have to reach to airport in time”

Author’s pov

He almost reach the airport but suddenly the taxy stops working kim-ji-hoon opens the door of the taxy and paid to taxy driver.

 He starts running towards the airport. His heart was beating so fast that he couldn’t make out if it’s because of running or due to his extreme nervousness.

He checks here and there but couldn’t see Min-ae-ra. He freaks out and starts shouting her name

Suddenly he sees Min-ae-ra’s long jacket which she have wore last time when he met. He runs towards that direction and touches the shoulder and turn her back and says “oh Min-ae-ra I missed you”

But that was not Min-ae-ra. He starts apologizing “ I’m so sorry I misunderstood “

A sweet voice comes from his back

“ Kim-ji-hoon!!!!”

He turns back and saw Min-ae-ra is running towards her

After seeing him I couldn’t resist myself and I hugged him tightly. My tear drops into his shoulder. He said in quavering voice “ I’m missing you already” I looked into his tearful eyes and said “me too”

“Your letter brought me here” he said.

 I was trembling after knowing that he read my letter. “uhh that letter…yeah that was my feelings and don’t worry I’m not gonna ask you to give answer because I already know.” I Sighed…

He said “ You still have time, let’s run away from here”

I laughed and said “It’s late now”

“Oh my mom might be waiting for me, I think it’s time to say a final goodbye.” I said

“umm.. ok but I want to give you something” he said

I asked “what”

“A goodbye kiss” he said

He came closer and I started pouting .He tapped on my head and said “stop dreaming”

I was so embarrassed and told him “ bye!!”

I started walking and he grabbed my hand and took me close. His lips were touching my cheeks. I madly started smiling. I got butterflies on my stomach. That sudden kiss took my breath out. My cheeks got all red. I started blushing. His smooth kiss has completely healed my pain of separation.

I turned back and started running and flipped back a little and said

“ Anneyoeng chingu”

He smiled too and was waiting for me to go inside.

My steps were going far from him and I could feel the distance…

“Where did you go? Let’s go now the plane will take-off soon” my mom asked me as she was worried.

We went inside the plane. After 15 minutes our plane was ready to take-off.

“goodbye Busan” I said by keeping hand on my chest.

I slept..

“ C’mon wakeup now we are at Incheon now”

“ I don’t know when the plane has landed” I said

I woke up and came out from the plane. We walked out from the airport and I saw a new atmosphere around us. It was pleasing to my heart. I honestly felt good but I was still thinking about kim-ji-hoon.
