"Just stay for a while"

She walks out and runs to meet her class teacher.

Knock knock…

“please May I come in teacher?”

my teacher sees me and said “oh Min-ae-ra come, come”

 “Teacher I wanted to meet you before I go to Incheon. I’m happy as I see you now”

“Ah Min-ae-ra you are making me emotional. No matter what happens  don’t stop studying arasso? Don’t think I’m not there to scold you. I’ll keep you in touch to see if you are studying well or not and yes I want that you get first in your new school too”

“Yes teacher thanks for your concern towards me and thanks for all the time you’ve given to teach us. I’ll never forget you.”  “Oh I think it’s time to say goodbye”

“Ok see you soon” said my teacher

I went out and started running towards my home.

I reached the door and thought to let him know that I’m moving. I go to the next door and started knocking…

Kim-ji-hoon’s mom came and opened the door.

“ Anneyoenghaseyo Aunty”

“Oh Min-ae-ra come inside”

“no, aunty I just came here to tell you that we‘re moving out and going to settle in Incheon”

“Oh yes your mom came yesterday to tell me by the way, she said you were crying a lot” 

Suddenly kim-ji-hoon came at the door and said “Min-ae-ra!! Why didn’t you told me that you’re moving?”

“Even I got to know yesterday” I said

“So you should’ve came to tell me just like how you came now” he sounded painful.

Kim-ji-hoon’s mother “you both talk I’ll bring breakfast, come inside” 

“No aunty kim-ji-hoon has to go to school it’s already 7:45”

“I’m not going today” he grabbed my hands and took me inside his home and when I sat on the couch he told me

“let’s talk in my room”

Kim-ji-hoon’s mother said “oh yes Don’t worry you can go”

I entered into his room he suddenly close the door he hold my hand and said “ when will you come back?” 

I said “I don’t know”

he started scolding me “why are you even going? Can’t you just stay here? You can even live in my house. See I’ll convince your mom.”

“No, I’ve already tried all possible ways, I even told her that if you’re stubborn then I’m your daughter too”

 kim-ji-hoon started laughing… “Are you laughing on me? Like seriously? I was trying hard to make excuses and here you’re laughing huh!! I just noticed that he still kept holding my hands and I took my hand back and Starts beating him.

 “Ok ok sorry listen now!! I want to give something” he said

“What?” I asked curiously. He took his phone from the table and hand me over and said

 “Now you have to call me everyday arasso?”

“wait! No I can’t take this, it’s your’s”

 “but now it’s your’s, I know you haven't told your parents that your phone has been broken"

My face started glowing as I never thought someone will be worried about my personal matters that time I felt as if I've passed in my life’s exam. He tapped on my head and said “let’s go somewhere”

I said “ no you should go to school now” as I remembered the letter was still in the locker.

 He said “I’m not going today I’ll drop you to the airport”

“No, if you’ll come to drop me then it’ll be hard for me to leave, so please go to school for now”

“Then promise me you’ll call me daily” he said

“Ofcourse I’ll”

Kim-ji-hoon’s mother started calling us and said “ breakfast is ready kids”

“Let’s go” I said

I was going out from the room and suddenly he pulled me back and hugged me tightly.

“Don’t go, just stay for a while please” he said with painful voice and I can feel his emotions. That hug was so comforting. I wanted to hug him for long.

Kim-ji-hoon’s mom “c’mon now breakfast is getting cold”

I moved a little but he doesn’t wanted to let me go “ let’s go you are getting late for school” I said. He leaves his hands and I came out from the room.

Breakfast was served on the table and Aunty and uncle told me to sit. I just sat on the chair and aunty said “ kim-ji-hoon always talks about you when he’s home”

 “oh really” I said and then I took a piece of bread and started eating.

 Kim-ji-hoon’s mom said “ I even told him that you sounded like as if Min-ae-ra is your girlfriend”

I started Coughing..ahem Ahem and took a sip of water. “No we are just best friends” I intentionally said loudly so that kim-ji-hoon hears it.

Kim-ji-hoon changed into his uniform and came out. He sat in front of me and we made a very strong eye contact. He was pretending that he didn’t listen to our conversation but his actions reveals everything.

 He served me soup in my bowl and said “eat well”

 kim-ji-hoon’s mom “Woah!! You never served us like this”

 kim-ji-hoon said “mom it’s not like that”

While taunting him and I said “We are just best friends right? Kim-ji-hoon!!”

That was the first time he ignored me in something he always reminds me of. It seemed very unusual. His behaviour was giving me false hopes but then I thought to stop thinking about something which makes it more difficult for me to accept the reality.

He stood up and said “ I’m done with my breakfast and I’m heading towards my school now”

I said “ Alright!! I’m leaving too Aunty.” Bow my head and said “Thank you so much for all your help Anneyoeng!!”

I walked out and suddenly kim-ji-hoon started running towards me and shouted in a loud voice “Min-ae-ra!!!!!”

I stopped and he started shuttering “ please don’t forget to call me and don’t go anywhere at late nights and yes!! if any boy teases you then call me I’ll come there and beat him up for you. Don’t get sick huh!! Study hard !!”

“your wish is my command anything else captain?” I said mockingly.

We started giggling and I told him “go now you’re already late and yes check the locker too”

“Locker why?” He asked

“Just a small surprise” I said

He ran towards the School as he was curious what kind of the surprise it is!!

My mom came out with all the bags and said “ Min-ae-ra where you were? Just take your bag our car is on the way”

Car came, I sat inside and peeped from the window. I saw Kim-ji-hoon was already left.

They are on the way to the airport Meanwhile kim-ji-hoon reached to school and goes towards his class and opens the locker. He saw there’s a letter in the locker. His fingers were starting to shake when he took the letter in his hands. He took a deep breath and starts reading….
