chapter 5

The window on the door starts cracking, as the shards drops down all over the floor.

She doesn't realises it, as she steps back and stomps on them.

She yells loudly, as she falls down on the floor.

She grabs her foot by her hand and brushes the shards off, her palms are blurred with blood all over it.

The big wardrobe, that is next to her, starts shaking, as it starts falling down on her position.

Before she could react to any of this, it falls down on her, as no more voices come from her.

Blood flows on the floor around the wardrobe, as the earthquake stops.

The room suddenly became quiet.

The atmosphere completely changed, no more screaming or any pain, just darkness.

Nothing is shaking or making any loud noises, just silence.

Wayla cannot move or do anything with her body, she is stuck and she is slowly dying.

The most weird thing is for her, that she doesn't feel so much pain.

It's like, as if a whole heavy weight literally dropped on her, which is true, but she doesn't feel any pain.

Is this it?

She can breath, she can still feel her body, but she can't move.

She blinks twice, as a sudden darkness shows infront of her.

She is confused, she doesn't know what is happening.

She blinks again and she doesn't feel any large object on her body nor any pain.

She opens her eyes and sees her body on the bed literally with blood all over her body and some...fiber tighten around her leg.

What the **** just happened.

She looks around with only her eyes, not moving her head, because of the pain she cannot.

She leans with her face up a bit to look at her knees.

They are swollen and with pure bloody scars around them.

She is even more confused at this point.

Was this a dream back then, since she can't remember much what exactly happened.

All she knows is that an earthquake came, but other then that she can't remember anything at all.

She looks around at the room, but only sees Mae sleeping on the chair next to Wayla's bed where she woke up from her nightnare.

„M-mae..?” She said with a tired tone, while her face looks pale.

Mae reacted to it, as they open their eyes lightly and blink twice.

They look at Wayla, who is currently on her bed, while looking at them with a confused and tired looking face.

„Wayla? You are awake! Don't move!” Mae warned Wayla, as they keep her head down.

Wayla looked confused, as she asks.

„What the hell happened..?” Wayla said in quite a weak and slow tone, as she looks at Mae for a response.

Mae sits on her chair back, as they said with a simple tone.

„If you dont't remember..somebody almost murdered you.” Mae said with a slow tone to make it clear for Wayla.

Wayla still looked confused, but as she looked at her knees and her hands, she is sure about that such damage, couldn't have done a normal human.

As she looks at Mae and asks.

„Who?” She said, as she looks at Mae.

Mae keeps quiet for a bit not knowing with what to respond.

„I don't know, how to explain, but I can assure you, that you have to stay here and not go out of this room, it's not safe out there.” Mae said with a serious tone, as they seem to be really saying the truth.

Wayla doesn't give any more questions, as she nods.

„Good.”

Wayla wanted to ask another question though, which would make it more clear for her, what actually happened.

„Mae.”

„Yes?”

Wayla stopped for a bit and thought a little longer before answering.

She doesn't know, how to say it clear for Mae.

„It's okay, take your time.” Mae comforted Wayla, as she kept waiting patiently.

„Was there an earthquake?” Wayla asks with a quite worried and quiet tone, as if she wasn't sure, how to say it.

It surprised Mae, they didn't expect Wayla to ask such a thing, as it didn't make any sense.

„No..Why would you say such a thing?” Mae said curiously with a speechless face.

A relief shapes on Wayla's face.

It was just a nightmare, none of it actually happened, but she still has questions about what exactly happened and who attacked her so horribly.

She is confused, but she decides to rest for a while.

A lot of things happened, that she cannot explain.

Mae looks at Wayla's expression, as they don't ask anymore and give her some time.

Suddenly some footsteps were heard out of this room in the hall.

Wayla looked quickly at the door, as she sees shadows on the window, that look like two people crossing.

She keeps looking until she hears a click.

Those two people are Noah and some guy with no name or they still haven't heard it yet.

Mae immediately pays attention to them, as they step closer to Noah and they have some whispering, those that Wayla cannot hear.

She wants to say something or ask why or what, but she rather keeps shut.

She is tired and she feels like, as if the whole world was rotating around her.

She closes her eyes, as she falls asleep.

„What happened?” Mae whispered to Noah, as they talk quietly.

„There were some other creatures going around the building. They were in all shapes and forms.” Noah said with a worried tone, as he handed Mae his full bag.

„What is it?” Mae asked Noah suspiciously.

„As we were searching the other rooms, we have found some food.” Noah explained to Mae, while waiting for Mae to open the bag.

Mae had a quite surprised look on their face to that, as they nodded and started unpacking the food.

Noah looked at the weird guy behind him, as he gave him a look for 5 seconds.

Something was off with that guy, he didn't say anything this whole time and he does what he is being told without any complaint or resistance.

The guy looks at him back, as Noah looked away quickly, no longer paying any attention to him.

The guy sighed, as he went to his bed and layed on it, while facing the wall.

Mae looked at Wayla, who is currently sleeping, as They thought about asking Wayla, if she is hungry.

As Noah and Wayla were buried in their own thoughts about how to escape, a sudden smell entered Their room, it smelled really good and had the smell of a rose, it almost made them zone out.

„What is this smell?” Mae asked with a worried yet tired tone.

„I don't know, it makes me feel dizzy.” Noah said, as he lent his hand on his forehead, feeling all the sweat.

What is happening?

The guy that was laying on the bed just few minutes ago, suddenly started sleeping, because of the dizziness and fatigue the smell caused.

Noah fell down on the floor, as Mae did the same.

Noah started coughing rapidly, while Mae was already "sleeping".

Noah gave out his last cough, as everything went dark infront of him.
