Chapter 4

As she opens the door, she sees a large monster Infront of her.

Probably 8 feet tall with a pale skin and a muscular body.

Wayla looks completely shocked with no words, her heart starts pounding faster then ever.

The monster looks at her and does nothing.

That monster doesn't have any eye balls, they are just empty holes.

The creature looks around the room and then back at her.

Wayla doesn't move or say anything, she is just standing there completely shocked.

She doesn't know, when or how would it attack her.

But it looks like, it doesn't care.

Her little drops of sweat flows down her neck.

Her eyes gets wider and her face shapes in complete shock.

Everyone are quiet, no one is screaming or saying anything.

The Monster gives them last few seconds of a stare and turns on the right and goes forward down the hall.

Wayla closes the door immediately and quietly, while she still can hear the steps in the hall.

Wayla starts sweating and breathing heavily, as she crawls on her knees and calms down her nerves.

She was so scared, she didn't expect any of this to happen at this certain situation.

Mae was shocked as well as Noah and the unknown man.

All of them were scared and shocked, so they didn't blame Wayla for reacting this way.

Mae stepped closer to Wayla to check on her.

They sit next to her and place their hand on Wayla's back.

„Are you okay..?” They ask worryingly and wait patiently for a respond from Wayla, who has her hands placed on her face covering it.

She takes off her hands of her face after she calms down a bit, as she looks at Mae, who is looking at them back with a worrying look on their face.

„Yes, I am.” Wayla said with a smile, as she gets back on her feet.

Mae does the same, as they open their mouth to say something, but insists.

„Thank you again.” Wayla said quietly to Mae, while scratching her head.

Noah watches, as they react to each other, he never saw Wayla reacting like that to someone, which is pretty surprising.

He gives it no more thoughts and looks around this room to find something.

He looks under his bed and starts searching around, but finds nothing.

As Wayla looks around, she stops.

Mae said something to Wayla, but she overheard it.

„What?” she asks Mae with a confusing tone in her voice, as she watches Mae reaction.

„Mae..it's my name.” Mae said, as they smile.

„oh..OH right!” Wayla said with a surprising face after realising.

Mae watches her reaction, as they smile by her weird reaction to their name.

„What? Is my name that weird?” Mae said with an ironic tone.

Wayla immediately processes it.

„No not at all, I actually think, that it's pretty. I just overheard you, I am sorry.” she apologizes at the end with a weird smile on her face.

„Ah I see, I am sorry for misunderstanding then also thank you.” Mae said, while running their fingers through each other.

„also.” Wayla added.

Mae looks at her and waits.

„My name is Wayla, I hope we get to work together.” Wayla said with a formal tone.

„I hope so too Wayla.” Mae smiles.

Noah searches under his pillows and under his blanket to find anything.

He thinks about going outside again to find any other useful stuff, but the thought of that ugly looking zombie makes his hopes go down.

After he finished searching his whole bed and not finding anything, that could come useful to his hand, he looks at that man, who is laying on the bed minding his own business.

He is quite curious about him, but he doesn't really wanna get close to him, because of what he did.

Wayla looks at Noah, who is currently searching around this place for some stuff.

there is nothing pretty much in this place, so the only option is to go out and find something there, but she cannot do that.

God knows, what kind of other creatures are out there.

She questions herself though why didn't the creature attack her all of a sudden.

It just kept staring at her and didn't do anything.

It makes her curious.

Maybe it cannot see clearly or at all.

Mae noticed, how Wayla is overthinking about something, it makes them ask why or what is she thinking about, but they rather won't interrupt.

Wayla looks at Mae and approaches them with a smile.

„It was great knowing you, I will go now.” Wayla said with a quick and rushed tone, as she watched Mae's face a bit surprised by her actions.

„Alright, tell me if you need anything.” Mae said, as they leave Wayla be.

Wayla doesn't really know, what to do at the moment, so she approaches Noah, as she walks towards to him.

„Noah..Did you find anything?” Wayla said, as she looks around him.

Noah got spooked a bit by her, because he didn't expect her at all.

Noah looks at her and shakes his head.

„Everything is empty.” he said, as he sighs.

Wayla does the same to his response, she doesn't wanna go out of this room, but it's the only option here.

„What about we go outside and search there.” Wayla asks, as she watches Noah's reaction carefully.

Noah has that weird look on his face, as he quickly responds with.

„Are you stupid, do you want us to get eaten alive?!” Noah said with a furious tone, as he stands up.

Wayla doesn't hold back, as she starts talking to him with a louder and strict tone.

„Well..We don't have any other option! Would you rather stay here and die?!” She said with a furious look on her face.

„Let's just..wait here and see what happens. You don't know what could happen later.” Noah said calmly with a rushed tone though.

„...” Wayla doesn't say anything, but she cannot hold back.

„If you don't have anything to say then leave me alone.” He said, as he still keeps checking the wooden drawers.

Wayla doesn't say anything anymore, as she walks towards the door and starts overthinks a bit.

Suddenly the door starts shaking, as the drawers do the same.

Is this an earthquake?!

Wayla starts panicking, she watches the cracks shaping on the ceiling, as it drops dust everywhere.

Suddenly she realises, she is alone and all the other people in here are gone.

„Mae?!” She yells, she doesn't know, what happened to them and doesn't even wanna know.

There is nothing to hide under, she is fucked.

The window on the door starts cracking, as the shards drops down all over the floor.

She doesn't realises it, as she steps back and stomps on them.

She yells loudly, as she falls down on the floor.

She grabs her foot by her hand and brushes the shards off, her palms are blurred with blood all over it.

The big wardrobe, that is next to her, starts shaking, as it starts falling down on her position.

Before she could react to any of this, it falls down on her, as no more voices come from her.

Blood flows on the floor around the wardrobe, as the earthquake stops.
