Episode 16

Zion was burning with anger in his eyes. Katerina had crossed the line this time, so he stormed off to her room to confront her. They never slept together, and there was never any passionate or lustful sex. Katerina received the painful bite from the Alpha and was left alone with the pain in her neck. He didn't even alleviate the pain by licking the wound.

Zion didn't knock on the door, he entered like a storm, kicking the door down. Katerina got scared and screamed in fear. She saw him as if he were a demon and knew what was happening, so she rushed to justify herself.

"Zion, listen to me, it's not what you think. I'm an Alpha, and that Omega disrespected me. I only went to offer her dresses. An Omega doesn't know how to present herself in high society, and no matter how much of a Queen she is, she's still inferior for being an Omega, so..." she couldn't finish her usual spiel because Zion interrupted her with a threatening roar. Katerina was in panic.

"Shut up! How can you be so stupid and insult a royal she-wolf? She doesn't have to respect you. She is superior to both of us. Her blood is divine, and you embarrass our pack with your foolishness. I warn you, Katerina, if you offend the Omega Queen again, I will make sure you rot in the dungeon, even if the council revokes my role as the Alpha. Understood?" Zion spoke through clenched teeth. It was more of a growl than words, but Katerina understood and lowered her head, nodding.

Zion left his room in a furious state while Katerina became more convinced of her plan to prove that she could be a Queen in the highlands. In a couple of days, there would be a tournament, and she would challenge the Omega Queen to a fight. She might have caught her off guard that day, but in the tournament, she was sure the weak Omega wouldn't stand a chance against her. Plus, her own wolf must be smaller compared to Katerina's wolf. It would be a piece of cake, she thought with amusement.

A couple of hours later, in the grand hall, everyone awaited the special guest. Katerina stood next to Zion, but Agata pulled her by the arm and positioned her behind, taking her place next to her son. She was still the Luna and wouldn't give Katerina an inch of her position.

The moment had arrived. The announcement came of the arrival of the Queen and the King with the Princess from the Kingdom of the Seas, and as expected, their introduction showcased the royalty of the Omega Queen.

"Ladies and gentlemen, let's welcome the Omega Queen Saradiel Descarpontriez, daughter of Alpha King Uriel Descarpontriez and Luna Queen Fiara Latrivia, descendant of the Goddess Selene, rulers of the Black Wolf pack and possessors of the Great Black Wolf," Jacobo made the announcement with excitement. He had never imagined announcing Werewolf royalty in his life, so it was a dream come true.

Everyone applauded as the couple entered the hall. Sasi held Fabian's arm, and in her other hand, she held little Lari's hand. Lari was accustomed to these presentations, so she behaved like the princess she was, dignified and elegant.

The couple approached the Alpha of Alphas and his mother while everyone applauded. It was then that Zion felt like a thunderbolt struck his head. That beautiful Queen was...

"Sasi..." murmured the man, growing pale, feeling his body tremble involuntarily. After five years, he heard his Wolf's howl in his head. Zeus manifested his joy at sensing Regan nearby.

Sasi hadn't seen him. She was nodding to the alphas nearby, politely greeting them. When she turned to see the Alpha of Alphas, a gleam of hatred and pure animosity passed through her eyes but quickly disappeared. No one noticed except for Luna Agata, who was fully attentive to the encounter. She saw her son's unease and the hatred in Saradiel's gaze, realizing that things were more than wrong. "My son has messed up, and I'm sure of it," Agata thought as she clenched her fists.

Saradiel approached with Fabian, who was smiling but couldn't take his eyes off Mary. She was slightly behind as part of the reception committee but felt the gaze of the wolf King making her blush. She didn't even know why she blushed every time the King looked at her.

On the other hand, Sasi approached, looking at Zion boldly and arrogantly. There was not a hint of doubt or confusion in her demeanor, as if she had been waiting for this moment every day of her life, and she spoke arrogantly.

"Zion Terrier, a pleasure to meet the Alpha of Alphas," Sasi smiled, though it was more of a smirk. But things became even more complicated in that moment.

"Alpha Zion, I am Lariel Descarpontriez, I am the princess," Lari spoke with her sweet, timid voice while smiling at him.

Zion felt like the world was opening up beneath his feet to swallow him whole. That beautiful girl was his daughter, he was certain of it. The scent of her blood was clear and distinct. He had a beautiful 5-year-old daughter with the lovely Omega he had abandoned five years ago, and now they were standing there in front of him.
