Fool me once, Can't Fool me Twice pt.2

I skipped out of my room and greeted Millie at my door.

"Millie! oh Millie! I forgot to ask for a carousel, can you grab the one with the white bow please?!" I almost yelled, half way down the stairs.

Millie yelped what sounded like "yes ma'am" and then took off up the stairs like a bullet. Jeez, not that big of a deal Millie, you just acted like a Royal family member was standing infront of me-! I turned my head in front of me and the Crown Prince and His father (The king!) where speaking to my father. I slowly tried to act as if I needed something upstairs, but my father saw me.

"Ah, speaking of my lovely daughter, There she is. Ani-May! please come great the Highness's!" My father said to me clear and strongly. I froze and turned on my heels. I breathed in deeply and smiled.

" Ah yes! yes father!"  I said back to him

I walked to the trio . My heart beat like a drum. Bu-bum, Bu-bum, Bu-bum. I quickly bowed to the king and prince.

"I great the sun's and light of this country, You have my undivided attention."  I said strongly

I herd the king laugh for a while, then he said " forget the manners with me! After all you have a big surprise coming your way ! Rise please!"

I rose to face eye to eye. My father cleared his throat loudly and smiled widely, the king did the same thing.  They mimicked each other and I watched the crown prince from the corner of my eye. His face was a light pink, and he looked nothing like when he was with his suiting women.  Instead of being cold and not even looking like he was interested. He was attempting to hide that he was interested and made eye contact.

" Great king, father? Is there something important you two would like to tell me? Or is it just uncomfortably hot in here? " I asked clueless of what was going on.

Thw two fathers said at the same time " yes, we have great news but according to tradition we can not tell you. only that person can!"

I looked at them confused, then saw The Crown Prince kneel in front of me and pull a small beautiful black velvet box out of his inside jacket pocket.

"Ani-May of the Silver manner, will you marry me?" He asked

I herd something drop behind me and looked to see what it was. Millie stood there on the steps gawking at the 4 of us.  She had dropped my carousel and dropped her jaw to.

" Maid, please behave properly. Leave now." My father said fast as a wip.

Millie didn't bother to say a thing and ran back upstairs, and even left the Carousel. I gulped and looked back at the prince. I could feel my face burning.

"u-i-y-y-es" I stuttered.

now my heart felt like it was climbing up my throat, I pushed it back down and said clearer "Y-yes, i w-will mar-marry you!"

The crown prince kissed my hand and put the ring over my glove. He let my hand go and I quickly rushed to pick the carousel up.

"Thi-this is one of my favorite carousels, cant risk staining the laced edges!" I pruned trying to leave the trio. My father smiled

" I thought your favorite Carousel was the one Your cousin jadell gave you, the green one with a gold bow at the top"  He teased

I smiled again, about to faint.

" I never said the one he gave me was my absolute favorite, did I? I remember clearly saying that It was one of my favorites."

My father changed the subject and said  " well, since these two are officially tied, shall we have tea? while they take a walk together, or should we all get prepared early for the party?"

before I could say the second option, the king choose the first. I am not ready for this!

The two fathers had Tea in my fathers garden. While I had to think of something to do with Ise. Come on, why now?! Any other time I would be free, open, actually READY for this!
