Lies or Reality

Ella's pov-

i patted Theo's back as he cried. It's not a normal thing for guys easily to cry but i know how much he has loved Liya with all his heart. But she broke it into pieces just like Alden has broken mine. I closed my eyes thinking what'll happene next....i needed answers.... answers for their betrayal.... answers for hurting us.

In the morning Ana and Rebecca saw us still sitting on the balcony but didn't ask us anything as they could guess. Ana broke the silence saying we need to eat something for strength because we have many things to handle. Agreeing to them me and Theo ate.

Ana- "So? what's the next step?"

Silence fell again as no one have any idea what should we do. Suddenly my phone rang and it was my dad. I hesitated but answered feeling nurvous after 4/5 rings.

Ella- "Hey dad, um how are you?"

Mr.Davis- "Hello my girl. I'm all well. How are you doing? I was a bit worried about you as you always pick my calls in just 2rings? Did something happened?"

Ella- I was on the verge of crying again. But i didn't wanted my dad to worry so i just said.."um..no dad. Everything is fine. How's brother? Um is he with you?"

Mr.Davis- "hmm...i hope it's nothing. Well, yeah he is with me. Do you want to talk?"

Ella- "No no no." I said more hurriedly as if I talk to my brother he'll surely know that something is off. And i didn't want that.

Ella- "haha so when are you coming back?"

Mr.Davis- "Well, in 1day. We'll meet soon. I'll cut the call now okay? I've to go."

Ella- "Okay, sure....have a great day ahead both of you." After cutting the call i knew what I need to do now.

Ella- "I think I need to talk with m...mom. I want answers. I can't always rely on my dad or brother." They agreed. We all drove to the Davis villa.

Rebecca- "mm...yeah. It's a good idea to go alone there? Do you want us to go with you?"

Ella- "I think I'd go alone. It's my family after all." I said with much pain.

Rebecca protests saying- "What kind of family do this to their own daughter and sister?"

Ana grabbed her hand- "It's okay. She need some alone time with them. We'll be right here. If u need us just give text us." saying and giving me a soft smile to assure they're always with me. I gave them a nurvous smile as i don't know what news awaits inside. I entered the villa walking taking my time walk pass the garden and thinking how my life have taken a turn in just one day...well for me. I only got to know about all of these yesterday only. Before entering the building I took a deep breath and entered. I saw my mom sitting on the couch and drink tea in leisure. When she saw me i felt hatred from her. But she mask it with a smile. I was still standing there thinking if i was wrong.

Mrs. Davis- "Oh! Ellerine. What are you doing here?"

I looked at her in disappointed. It's also my home.

Ella- "I think you forget mom, it's alos my home. Are you not happy to see me here?" I said walking near the couch.

Mrs. Davis- "Ayiyaa! what are you saying. Ofcourse it's your home also. You can come anytime. Take a sit. I need to talk with you." saying she smiled sweetly like a sweet mother.

But my worries get worse.

Ella- "Sure. I was need to talk with you." Saying I took a sit on the sofa and a old maid offered me some tea. I smiled at her thanking. I took to seeps of my tea to get my voice but my mom asked first.

Mrs.Davis- "Did you thought about the divorce? Look I know that you are married to Alden. But Liya and Alden love eachother and we can't afford to lose the Anderson's support in business. So it'll be good for you to divorce Alden."

I whole body was shaking listing to her words. How can she just say that to her. She knew that how much I've loved Alden. Gathering my strength i asked her...

Ella- "From when it started? For how long You know about it?" My mom answered me snickering.

Mrs.Davis- "Well, you know. Actually it's from the very start....from your wedding night." I looked at her in disbelief with pain in heart. I felt like choking on my tears. How can they? How can my own mom knew about it all long but never protested. Suddenly i heard some footsteps and saw Liya. She looked shocked. Both mom and her exchanged some looks then Liya smirked at me and sat with mom oposite of me.

Liya- "Wow! Look how is it. How are you big sis? I hope you had a good night's sleep yesterday." She said laughing and mom smirking. I was sitting there but my voice was long gone. Listening thier words and getting their treatments.

Mrs.Davis- "Um...are you okay? So what do you think about the divorce? You should divorce Alden as I've said. It's for our family. You know how much your dad loves you. You should do it for him at least." She asked me like it was nothing. It's was very simple like a deal. And she was sounding like i should just give up as i don't deserve Alden. With shaky voice i asked her..

Ella- "Why didn't you told me about it? Why did you kept quiet until now? How can you say this?" Mom smiled in amusement and Liya looked at me laughing like it was something entertaining and answered...

Mrs.Davis- "Well, there's nothing i could do to stop. I can't stop two lovebirds...can i?"

Not able to contain the pain and her words i screamed at her standing and saying...

Ella- "But you knew i was married to Alden. How could you do this? I'm also your daughter like Liya. How can do this to your sister Liya? Do you have no shame? How could you betray your family? How can you be so vicious?"

A sharp slap landed on my cheeks.... grabbing my hair she said...

Liya- "How dare you! You worthless bitch! How dare you talk to us like this? You are a bitch. You aren't my sister or family." I was in utter shock that my sister who was so teamed...who was always so kind... slapped me and now grabbing my hair saying this. Mom said with full of hatred filled eyes holding her shoulder....

Mrs.Davis- "You are no child of mine....You and your brother. I hate you to both to my guts. And I'll make sure that you two worthless basterds will live a life of hell. I've given Liya whatever she wanted and she deserves the best." My eyes widened hearing her. I was shaking so hard. I felt breathless. Growing up whom I've always known as my mom suddenly she's saying all these things. The sister whom I've always loved and cared for betrayed me saying I'm no family to her.
