Monday is a bitch

Taehyungie POV :-

I woke up to my very annoying alarm baring and reminding me to wake up for school.

Ah Monday mornings lovely! (sarcasm)

God it's so annoying to wake up on Monday knowing you have to go to school. I pull myself out of the bed and do one nice stretch of my body making a funny noise... I mean who doesn't do this after having a lovely peaceful sleep.

Suddenly I hear my mother calling me... hm no sorry... shouting at me from downstairs to get my *** out of the bed and get ready. Oh don't worry she's a very sweet woman. But let's just say she's not a Monday mornings lover!!

Huh I must have inherited my hatred for mondays from my mom.

Like mother like daughter.

I brush and take a bath, wear some casual clothes and my old shoes but favourite ones and go downstairs to see my beautiful mother making breakfast for me.

"Good morning mom", I said with a smile.

"Good morning honey", She greets me in a tired voice... I feel you mom.

"Honey eat fast and get going or else you'll be late for school", She said sternly.

All mothers morning conversation!!

Right?

But she was right I didn't have much time so I ate my cereal fast and got ready with my bag.

Mom comes out at that moment and gives me her usual lecture.

"Honey I'll be working late today, but I'll come home by nine okay? So you better come home straight from school and--", She was talking when I interrupted her continuing myself.

"Lock the door, hang the keys and give you a call so you'll know that I've reached home safely. Eat my snacks and do my homework before watching tv and if I need anything call you or Mrs.Jung from next door, right?", I finished in a monotone voice and gave her a smug smile.

She chuckled saying good girl and then I left saying, "bye mom, take care and have a nice day!"

"You too honey and be good in school", She replied.

I heard that before I left and thought 'of course mom, of course' (sarcasm)

I started walking to school. It's just fifteen minutes walking distance from my house.

I plugged my earphone to my old iPhone 6s... hey it still works well and walked on the sidewalk. I reached the gates of the one and only Daegu High School.

In School

As I was walking in I saw two familiar people talking to each other and without thinking I ran towards them and jump on the girl's back.

"JENNIE!!", I scream.

She stumbles a bit but luckily doesn't fall.

"Taei how many times have I told you not to scare me like that and don't jump on me!!", Jennie scolded me with a hand on her heart.

"Oh! I wanted to surprise you", I innocently smile.

"Well next time give me a heads up okay", She sighs rolling her eyes.

Next thing I know me and my other bestfriend Kai who was standing there talking to Jennie before I came scream together saying

"IT WON'T BE A SURPRISE IF I/SHE GIVES YOU A HEADS UP IDIOT!!"

Kai and I look at each other and start laughing crazily and high-fived.

"Hey I'm not a idiot", Jennie whines like a kid.

We always call her names for fun. Just then the evil bell rings and remind us to get in the class.

We three have almost the same schedule so we go to our first class... history.

I feel like I'm going to sleep any moment now. It's not that I don't like history, but today I feel like what the teacher is saying is going to put me to sleep. Like literally whatever she's saying feels like a lullaby to me.

I'm looking at... no correction... glaring at the clock as if it'll make the bell any sooner. After few minutes finally the bell rings.

Some more minutes and I would've definitely slept.

The days goes by similarly boring. I didn't expect anything else because you know it's Monday.

I even forgot to plan a prank for our beloved science teacher which I thought I'll make in the weekend. Now, me and my friends are sitting in the cafeteria.

We three were talking about random things and Jennie was ranting about how annoying her french teacher is. She hates her. Jinnie was on full grill mode. Kai and I knew she'll probably kill someone today... and that's when to make Jennie's day better the school's queen bitch Mia comes into the cafeteria.

I thought about how the day gets better and better (sarcasm)

She loves flirting with Kai god knows why. I mean to me my childhood bestfriend looks like a pig, but to her he looks like Zayn Malik or something. Mia came to our table and started her routine.

"Hey Kai I missed you so much during the weekend", Mia purred.

Kai does nothing but glare at her. Yup he hates her.

I look at Jennie and she was fuming like I expected. I mean she's already having a bad day plus she hates Mia more than I hate Kyung-soo which is a lot... trust me.

Mia continued her flirting and even almost so called 'accidentally' sit on Kai's lap... that's when I started fearing for her life. I did a mental countdown

Boom

Jennie exploded

"Oh God shut up! shut up! shut up dude! what the **** is wrong with you man? Jeez annoying voice and pathetic attempts of flirting with Kai is so annoying to me now. Damn girl get the hint! HE'S NOT INTERESTED!! Did you really have to annoy us today? I mean can't we have a normal fucking day without your *** infront of us? It's Monday morning for God's sake (yup she's not a fan of Mondays as well) and not to mention me already having a bad day! Trust me, pick up your desperate *** and walk off to the next table where you might probably get more attention than you'll ever get here! Stand here one more second and I'll rip off your fucking fake extensions and I don't promise that your actual hair won't come out with it dude, so unless you wanna be bald LEAVE!"

Just one word... damn. That's my best friend ladies and gentlemen.

Me, Kai and also Mia by the way just stood there with our mouth open.

After we recovered from the shock Mia just walked away without saying anything, but just a scowl on her face.

Damn finally some drama happened today!!

Kai, Jennie and I look at each other and start laughing. I think almost the entire cafeteria started laughing.

"Woah that felt good, anger vent out in the most productive way", Jennie smiled satisfied.

"Damn girl remind me to never mess with you when you're angry", Kai chuckled.

"Yup never mess with her", I laugh.

We three are really protective of each other and have been friends since we were in diapers so messing with one means messing with all of us.

Jennie can be really sweet and silent girl but once get on her bad side and you're done for! Kai is smart and collected, but hurt me and Jennie and he'll make your life hell.

The rest of the day was not so eventful and we said our goodbyes and left towards our homes.
