Chapter-1 {the poster}

When Maya was coming back from her school she noticed a poster on the streetlight. The poster was attractive and she could here light-loud music coming from it so she went near it, the poster had lively background and there was a picture of miniature mansion on it and a girl too like she is waiting for someone and also a cartoon sticker of radio and a QR code. It said-

"if you have no friends or if u want to make friends just scan the below given QR code and join a group chat were you would meet new friends

“GC EXCLUSIVELY FREE FOR ONLY 25 MEMBERS” after scanning the QR code take the poster with you because that would be needed for further verification.

Maya did not have much friends back then and she always wanted online friend so she didn’t wanted to miss this chance and yeah she did have a thought about what if it was fake but she decided to scan and think later as she was getting late for her home so she took the poster and tried to fold it but it was hard to fold so she observed it and pressed on the radio sticker on it then the music automatically stopped then she realized it wasn’t a normal paper poster, that was understandable as its background was live so there must be some technology to it. Thinking how silly she was she kept it in her bag and went home.

after reaching home, as usual she threw her bag and laid on her bed scrolling Instagram until her mom shouts on her to fresh up then she freshens up and sits on her table to complete her school work but as soon as she opens her bag she realizes about poster and without giving it any other thought she scans the QR code (even though she said she will give it a thought🤦‍♀️) after scanning the QR it takes her to an instagram group where she awkwardly sends a "Hi 👋" and closes her phone to come back on her school work without even waiting for a reply. After she was done with the so called school work she opens insta out of habit but as soon as she starts scrolling it she hears her mum calling (yelling) her for dinner so she has her dinner and even washes the dishes so that she won’t be yelled at again for anything and can peacefully scroll through her social media.

But as soon as she picks her phone she realizes there were tons of messages on her insta message icon so she got exited because never has she ever had so many messages ever before but when she checked the messages she realized they were from a friend of her asking for homework and from that annoying boy who is annoying her from past 3 days and from that group, named “Y/N chat group” which she joined few hours ago.

“Ugh…” she said to herself for thinking she’ll get thoes many messages with her antisocial soul.

and this whole thing which happened in few minutes ruined her mood 😒

and with that mood she opened the chat and typed "bye 👋" and then.....BLOCKED

blocked the boy who was annoying her from past 3 days then she messaged her frnd that she didn't do her homework yet (even though she did coz her Friend never helps her when she is in need so due to her bad mood she too decided to play fair)

now she entered the group and saw the messages most of them were of introduction so se assumed everyone probably joined today or may be a few days ago

she again messaged~

to that many responded back and introduced themselves and asked her to introduce herself

so she did as they said

^^^hi, am maya ^^^

^^^and am 16^^^

^^^nice to meet you 😊 ^^^

then she got few DMs when she checked them they were from dawn and dusk...
