Chapter 5

And time passed as usual... of course... and finally the day of shooting competition came! I am really excited!!! I won from the girls side amd Aiden won from the boys' side... as expected and NOW there was the main competition between us!

Actually we both performed really well so it was a tie. The university decided that we'd do the competition in a different style!

In that we have to shoot 5 times while running. We have to run along the track and shoot. The one who will reach the destination first and will shoot more accurately will win.

I ran along my track and.... BANG! I shooted the 1st one accurately... I was lookin at the other side: Aiden also shooted the 1st one... I shooted the next three of them accurately but then suddenly my ankle sprained! But then also I shooted the last one... It missed by 1cm... Then the race was finished... Aiden and I both reached at the same time but I was going to lose of course...

He was announced as the final winner while I was 2nd... I was really disappointed... Just because of this sprained ankle I lost! I really hate loosing!!!

After we received our prizes... Aiden was in an interview since he won the 1st prize so I just went under my secret hiding place where no one usually comes. It is located behind the campus. There is a beautiful tree there. Wherever I see it, I feel really peaceful. I usually spend my time there alone or sleep there... After losing I think that's a perfect place for me to go there.

I went there and sat under the shade of the tree... The weather was a bit cloudy and windy... Wind was flowing towards my direction... Suddenly tears start felling out of my eyes... My ankle was really paining now... Its not that I don't know how to cure it but I didn't wanted to! The pain in my ankle was deviating my mind to itself which prevented me to think about other emotional things. You know... when you are teenager then you become emotional on small things easily... Tears were still running down my face... I closed my eyes... I wanted to sleep.

Then suddenly I heard some footsteps. Seems like someone is coming this way. I slowly rose up and went in that direction to see who it was... It was Aiden... I was shocked!!! I suddenly asked him in surprise,

"Why are you here?!"

"Well... This is my secret place to relax! I should ask why are 'you' here?!"

"What?! Its my secret place to relax!!"

There was a moment of silence and then....

We both started laughing! Aiden said,

"Seems like we both have chose the same place!"

"Yeah... What a coincidence! "

"By the way, why are your eyes swollen? Did you perhaps...cried?"

"Well.. yeah you can say that... but tears fell of themselves...I don't know the real reason but it may be because I sprained my ankle or I just lost for the first time or perhaps both."

"What?! You sprained your ankles?! Let me see!"

I sat down and removed my shoes and socks. There was red swollen part in my ankle.

"When did you sprained your ankle?!"

"In the race... just before the last shot."

"Oh... how can you be so reckless? You should have treated it after the race! I hope you know ho do it, right?"

"Yes... But I didn't wanted to."

"Lillian... Are you insane?!"

"I am n-"

Then he suddenly put his hand on my mouth and told,

"You should at least care for yourself!"

Then he started treating my ankle. It hurt a little but then it was completely fine!

Then I said,

"Th-Thank you..."

"If you really want to thank me then you habe to treat me dinner today and since you lost, you also have to drink a glass of wine."

"What?!?!? I-I actually. ...."

"What happened? "

"I cant drink! I get easily drunk...I can't believe I am saying this you."

"Oh.. sorry... then you can just treat me dinner."

"Of course I can!"

"Okay now I want to sleep under the tree. You know I am very tired."

"But its also my secret, place which is no longer a 'secret' place; and its my right that I can sleep here! And I am also feeling very sleepy! Your dormitory is nearer than mines! So you can go back."

"Hump! Okay.. I have an idea! We both can sleep here but now I want to listen to music so I shall not be sleeping but just sitting here."

"Hmm... okay its fine with me"

I went to sleep... The weather was very peaceful and I felt a sense of security and comfort... I can finally have a good nap!

It felt like after a few hours I woke up. I saw Aiden sitting near me... After a few moments I found out that I leaning on his shoulder while sleeping. I quickly sat straight. He took off his headphones and said,

"Oh! You woke up? Did I disturb you? "

"No no!! Of course not! So well... I am going back to my dormitory. Come at xxxx hotel at 8:00 pm. okay? "

"Okay!"

I went back to my dormitory. He is really warm and caring when it comes to me. He was really cold to me when I first met him! Even now he is cold to everyone exept me of course! Ugh... whatever...

Since I have to go to xxxx hotel which is a 5star hotel, I haveto wear something classy and fashionable. But I don't think it would be necessary... Everything looks good on ne anyway!
