The Disaster

The D-Day arrived. Everybody were busy with their own work. The audience's whispers echoed through the stadium. People having posters and placards and even Big banners to support their desired teams. First Junghoon's team were up against the Panther Royals and Lia's team were up against the Jubilee hills. In this, Panther Royals were the defending Champions of the last two years and had a goal to hit a hattrick this time. They are also known for there rough and unfair play for which several players had to be hospitalised. The tension was growing as the clocks hands were striking continuously. Both Lia and Junghoon kept a check on each other to ensure they are alright. Lia was immensely worried about Junghoon and his team because of the Panther Royals. Lia could not get off this worry and headed to the washroom to calm herself, only to meet someone she had hated the most and got enraged immediately at sight of her. Amber, her highschool enemy, who was always jealous of her as she played better than her. Seeing Lia immediately a smirk formed on her lips as she said in a mocking tone, "Oh ! who do I see here ? Cicilia Xavier !! The Basketball Goddess herself ?!!", Lia scoffed," And I see only a Loser here, who could not even keep her own title" she said as Amber's smirk faded."Shut up !! You cheated while playing and took the title unfairly" , Amber shouted with clear jealousy and anger in her voice . Lia back fired , "Do not raise at me Amber !!","Oh really ?! What would you do if I raise my voice then ?" She showed fake fear and started acting as if she was scared . At this point Lia could not keep herself calm and slapped her hard on the face creating impression of her fingers.

Amber held her cheeks which was thumping due to the sting pain and looked blankly for a second trying to process what just happened right now. Then she shouted again, "How dare you ?!!", and pushed Lia harshly making her fall down on the hard cold floor. Lia was not ready for this sudden action and thus twisted her ankle and winced in pain. Here Amber was happy to see her suffer and stamped her injured foot more.

Junghoon who had already arrived, seeing the situation could not hold himself anymore.

Hoon: "HOW DARE YOU TOUCH HER, HUH ???"

He shouted at Amber and helped Lia get up. On the other hand Amber who was already scared due to the glare he gave him muttered, "Sh-sh-she slapped me first s-so-", Hoon cut her off by saying, "She must not have slapped you without a reason, by looking at you it makes clear that you are no good than an attention seeker". Amber was about to say something to defend herself but he spoke up again, "Get OUT of here...NOW !!!".

After Amber left from there he carried Lia out of the washroom in bridal style. The situation made her blush while he could not understand what happened to her. He took her to the infirmary to get her ankle checked.

At the infirmary...

Doctor: Oh my god child, your ankle is sprained badly...I am afraid but I don't think you can play 😔...
