Red's wife

Baltor and Ragid went to Mrs. Chu's big store after making sure that the soldiers are being accommodated. Hamid is the one who are in the cashier at the moment. " Anything for you sir? " Hamid was hesitant at first because of the dangerous aura coming from both men who just entered the store. " A mare for my stallion. " without a second thought answered by Ragid. Hamid smiled " And can I see this stallion of yours? We are not the one choosing the mare. Your stallion will choose by himself. " Hamid started to explain and signaled one of his men to take over the counter. " Red is outside ." gestured by Ragid. The three men went to where Red is and Hamid led them at the back of the store where horses are being taken care of.

Ragid let Red to move on it's own freely and it seems it understand what it's master wanted him to do. Red seems to be bored while walking but one fiesty horse caught it's attentio. One wild horse is trying to be controlled by a rider but the rider cannot tame it. One rider and then two but it seems it cannot be tamed. Red stand there and as if hypnotize. Ragid and Hamid look where is the direction of Red's attention. " It seems he decided" a final word of Ragid. Hamid was hesitant at first because it was Athan's favorite horse. Only Athan can tamed this horse and she even gave a name to this mare, Fire. Athan explained that Fire is a wild one but is soft. Sometimes Hamid doesn't understand Athan , as if she can understand the horses language. " hmmmm.... this one is a special one. I'm afraid I cannot give her to you" said by Hamid. And Mrs. Chu who is approaching just heard Hamid. " No!... No! Don't listen to this son of mine! Silly .... Of course you can take her. No one likes her here because she's wild and no rider can hold her. " a loud voice of Mrs. Chu as if she wanted the horses to understand. Hamid closed his fist. " It was the only thing that reminds him of his bestfriend Athan. " I will take her then" said by Ragid.

When Ragid is outside and waiting for Baltor to settle his bill Hamid came to him. " Her name is Fire. Please take care of her. " a sad voice can detect from him. Ragid stayed silent as he stared Red. " Red will take care of her" said by Ragid.

Baltor was professional at handling horses but it seems this Fire is a problem for him. He tried to ride Fire but it didn't allow him to. Red walk beside her but she still didn't relax. Red walk infront of her and stared at her. It was a challenge , Red have Fire's attention now. And they start to walk slowly forming a circle. Baltor and Ragid watch the two as if they have their own world and only the them can understand each other. After a few minutes Red started to run and Fire follows beside him in harmony. Ragid trust his horse that he didn't need to worry about them as they run far away from him. Red is a trained horse from the moment it was born. He only have one master and it is Ragid. He can go far away and still find his master a few meters away through smell. He is Ragid's messenger a few times . Red is Ragid's trusted left hand. "And there they goes..." you can hear Baltor's sighed. Ragid slightly smiled for his buddy.

It was a dangerous move for Athan to enter the village. She manage to move from house to house and as expected all houses are empty but it seems it's not that long. When she is in the last house she saw all the villagers being held as a hostage by more than 50 pirates. One old man tha looks like a chief was talking to the leader of the pirates. After a few minutes the old man was stabbed by the pirate's leader. The women cried and the kids can be heard sobbing. The pirates who are surrounding them are laughing. As the chief went to his knees and started to bleed , his family wanted to go near him but stopped by the pirates.

This shocks Athan, she was not new to abused but killing is a diffirent thing. She can feel her heart abnormal beats and a cold sweats run out of her forehead. She transfer to another house again and plan to leave using the foreat route where no one would notice her. Her plan succeed as she started to walk in the trees but then the villagers bloody body flashed out inside her head. Her conscience will not let her through. As a 16 year old who don't know about anything what can she do? . She inhaled and exhaled then suddenly a big bird hit her head.It's bleeding and it seems it hurts his head. It was an eagle. But she knew this kind of eagle , it was a messenger eagle. She remember that Mrs. Chu have a kind of eagle like this before. She used to buy from the hunters and sell to the soldiers but then the government declared it is illegal thus she stopped. It was a messenger eagle and she's right. There is a tiny paper with a blue color at the tip of it's feet. She has an idea.

She ripped the tip of her clothes and wipe in the pine tree of the forest then she bit her tounge and dipped her blood in the piece of cloth. She manage to tie it around the eagles feet above the blue colored paper and she put an herbal leaves in the eagle's head where it is injured and she let it fly high. Athan decided to hide in the forest till helps arrives. She was hoping.
