Chapter 1

Mei's POV

Early in the morning and I was woken up by a loud noise banging on my door.

BAM!! BAM!!

It looks like someone wants to break-in my apartment....

"Hey you!! Open the Door!!"

I head towards the front door to open and see who's the one making a scene early in the morning. I'm still half-asleep and want to get some more time with my Honey Bed. But I can't let anyone break my door, not to mention, I can't pay for a new one.

"WHO'S THIS DUNCE TRYING TO CRACK MY DOOR OPEN!?"

I didn't mind my words for I was annoyed by this someone who interrupted my sleep....

"YOU!! Are You Looking For trouble—!?"

"I think... you're the one who's looking for trouble..."

I slowly looked up in the guy in front of my door and realized that it's just a matter of seconds and I'm about to be sent in Hades.

For a reason, that a black angel was sent in front on my door, staring at me furiously. I felt the shivers down my spine.

That Black Angel was my single-almost-30 editor, Mr. Lee. He is the one who helps me to edit and revise my story.

It's very rare to see him so mad at me like this. I always obey and follow all his rules. Basically, I'm just afraid to get kick off in the butt.

He was nicknamed as 'Black Angel' because of his warm and temperate appearance but there's a rumor spreading in the company that once he gets mad, he can swallow you alive....

....and unfortunately, I see it for real.

I have no idea what made him so furious like this. Did I messed up!? No... maybe he just forget to eat breakfast or maybe he wore wet socks. I'm clueless, should I ask?

"Err...Mr. Lee, w-what happened?"

"I should be the one asking you that!! What made you— no, WHAT GOTTEN INTO YOU!? WHY DID YOU MADE THE SECOND MALE LEAD AND FEMALE LEAD ELOPED!? AND PUBLISH THE STORY WITHOUT PASSING BY ME, THE EDITOR!!"

Mr.Lee gritted his teeth in anger.

"Eh!? What are talking about Mr. Lee? What elope? I just wrote the draft of the first encounter of second male lead and female lead yesterday and haven't finished it 'till now. I didn't publish the story myself. How could I?"

He took a deep sigh, trying to calm himself down.

"If not you, who else? The Head Department was flustered by this and angered by you. But it's not you who gets the scolding.. IT'S ME!! They said I'm your editor and I'm responsible for you!! Are you trying to made me lose my job!?"

I understand nothing in what he said. Did I miss the point? But I have a bad feeling about this even I'm clueless about the things going on.

"Burning Heart fans are flustered as I am when I read the new released chapter. This became the hot topic of the Readers Community. You should try to open your account and see what's happening.

I'm telling you, Mei, fix this or your career as a writer will be over."

The Editor walk out in my apartment as soon as he said those words...

'Mei, Fix this or your career as a writer will be over'

What does he mean by that!?

Why do I felt like I missed a big thing!?

I immediately opened my phone to check on my account and.... there's 100+ notifications who welcomed me!! What a Surprise!!

What is this!? Why my loyal readers messaging me privately!?

I open my private message and silently reads the messages they sent.

I was stupified after reading their messages. What did I do!? I walked towards my desk and saw my computer was opened. I remembered that I left the computer open yesterday and didn't finished writing because I was too tired.

But the deal right now is that....

THE COMPUTER IS WRITING ON IT'S OWN!!?

WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!? IS MY COMPUTER HACKED!?

I was dumbfounded in what I just saw but what surprised me more is that... It is writing the 'Burning Heart' itself!! Now, I realized who's the main culprit.

But everything doesn't make sense!! What kind of sorcery is this?!

I look closely to the monitor of my computer to read what words it is writing in the story plot.

"A heart of one met the one she true loves. A confession. A vow. Wren and Mika as one. An oath for a life time. 'Will you marry me, Mika'. Wren said with his earnest sincerity."

(*Wren is the name of the second male lead in Burning Heart)

EH?! WHAT?! Wren and Mika are going to get married!? And I'm not even Invited!?

...ehem..well, that's not the main point...

But, I won't let this happen!! I should do something.

I immediately push the backspace button in my keyboard but it do nothing. Is my Keyboard broken?!

I sighed out of despair. If this phenomenon continue, this might be the end of my career.
