March 7'th

Ichiro woke up earlier than usual. He was dizzy and confused. 'What happened last night, for God's sake..?', he asked himself. He went to the bathroom to take his morning shower, completely forgetting what happened the night before. He stepped in the shower and turned on the water.

...'Of course. It's still DODGING ME!', he said, almost yelling....

A tried getting in the water, but it was still dodging him. He remembered what Hikari told him the night before, about his elemental powers. 'Oh... wait.. that actually explains it', he mumbled to himself. Ichiro closed his eyes and used the strategy he used the day before. He imagined the water flowing straight down, on his body. A few seconds after, he opened his eyes and the water was flowing normally.

...'Wow, I can actually shower now', he said....

After he took his first proper shower since he got there, he went to the library. As he opened the door, he noticed the size of it. 'When I was little, I thought that a library had all the books in the world, which is not usually true, but THIS thing is huge', he exclaimed to himself.

He stepped in. 'Okay, searching for ONE book here is going to take three and a half thousand years.'. Ichiro looked around, trying to find someone to help him with that. He saw a girl about his age at a desk so he walked up to her.

...'Do you need help with anything?', she asked....

...'Actually... yes. I heard there are certain books here which explain all the Elements in depth'...

...'Yes, of course. Follow me'...

The girl stood up and Ichiro flinched for a second. 'Why in the world is she, like, 3 inches(7.6cm) taller than me? I'm not that tall, but still', he thought as he was following her.

...'So, you're probably new here aren't you? Since you're asking for those books', she asked....

...'Well, yeah, just came in yesterday'...

...'Oooh, interesting. So you must've fought Hikari then, am I right?'...

...'Yeah... I did..', said Ichiro sighing....

...'Don't be disappointed, nobody here stands a chance. What rank did you end up in though?'...

...'Well... C. A bit disappointed but eh. What rank are you?'...

...'Don't be disappointed, I was the last C rank when I came in here so yeah. I am rank S-4. I'm the living proof that you can make it up there even with starting off slow'...

A few minutes after, the girl stopped walking in front of a small shelf.

...'Here you have all the books for every Element and Elemental Reaction. Do you need anything else? I have something to take care of at the moment.'...

...'No, it's okay, thank you'...

Ichiro sat down on a chair next to a window as he opened the book with the water symbol on it. Various spells were listed in the book some more complicated than others.

...'Okay, these are way too darn hard, maybe it would be a good idea to not open the book in the middle', he said....

He opened the book on the first few pages. 'Okay, the basics, that's more like it'. Ichiro started reading through the first pages, trying to understand the small steps listen below every spell. There were some of them he didn't understand, especially the healing ones, but he decided to skip those. A few tens of pages later, he reached the spells for weapons, which was something he desperately wanted to learn.

About an hour and a half later, he closed the book and realized how much time he spent there. His head was full of information and, most of it, was information he couldn't really comprehend.

He left the library a few minutes later and went to his room. He had sword training scheduled 3 hours later with the other C ranks but he decided to go to the training room right after he changed to test some of the spells listed in the book.

Once he walked in the room, he noticed that he was the only one in there, which wasn't that surprising.

...'Okay, the less people that see me screwing up, the better', he said in a relieving tone....

He started off by pulling his katana out to try some weapon spells. His head was aching lightly everytime he tried transferring all the Energy from his body to his sword. Everytime he swung it, the pain was getting worse, but he wasn't going to just give it up.

After about 10 minutes or so, his sword started emitting some water Aura particles, but nothing more than that. He took a break shortly after, as he was felt his body close to collapsing. He sat down for a while, trying to restore his heartbeat to a normal state, but he couldn't.

Right when he was about to stand up, he heard steps behind him.

...'Who's there?'...

...'Oh hey. You good in there man?', said the unknown guy....

...'Yeah, I'm fine', mumbled Ichiro as he stood up....

The two started chit-chatting for a short while. Turns out the guy was C rank too. He was 2 years younger than Ichiro which didn't make him feel so good about himself but he decided to ignore it. About half an hour later, the guy left. 'As much as we talked, he didn't tell me his name... I hope he's not going to think I forgot it', Ichiro thought.

Some hours later, the other C ranks arrived in the room and Wu joined them shortly after.

...'Okay, kids, I think we are all here now. So, everyone here is rank C for a reason and that is the lack of the basics. Today we're going to start practicing on your Energy capacity. I want all of you to form a small ball of Energy, doesn't matter what the Element is, and keep it for as long as you can', said the Sensei. ...
