Chapter 2

The period ends with Akiko overthinking about the life threatening dangers that Hitoka will face if she joins the volleyball club or if she even goes near any of the athletes. Akiko, at one point of time was going as far as trying to stop Hitoka from going there or even worse joining it.

The classes ended for the first years soon with Akiko being so much lost in thought that she couldn’t even sense the presence of her hamster skipping happily yet a bit nervously to go meet the beautiful yet sexy 3rd year in front of the gym.

\~TIME SKIP\~

Hitoka reaches downstairs and found the beauty standing and waiting for her. Hitoka soon grabbed her shoes from her locker and rushed to greet the 3rd year

“Umm... were you waiting for me?” She asked

“Huh? Oh you are here! And yes I was waiting for you” she replied ending her sentence with a small yet dashing smile.

Hitoka blushed turning herself into a hamster and a tomato at the same time, but soon she shook of her thoughts and nodded indicating that they could proceed to the gym. They were walking side by side and Hitoka as usual was mesmerised by the beauty and thinking about her sketches for her dad’s work or you could say the work that her dad passed onto her.’how would it look if I made the main FL like..’ she paused her thoughts and looked at the 3rd year. She but her lips before asking the 3rd year a question.

“Umm.. sempai, your name is...?” She blurted out and realised what she said a little too late and covered her mouth with her hands by slapping her hands on her mouth.

“I didn’t tell you my name yet? It’s Shimizu kiyoko” she said

“Then Shimizu sempai it is” Hitoka muttered.

Kiyoko chuckled at the way yachi was expressing her emotions.

‘Her expressions shows literally all her thoughts. It’s like her thoughts are written all over her face. Plus.. she looks really cute and adorable’ she thought

“A hamster” kiyoko said. Yachi was taken aback and brought back to the real world by Kiyoko from her thoughts. They both soon reached the gym with Hitoka still having no idea of she got into or what she had volunteered for.

There was a crowd surrounding Kiyoko and Hitoka couldn’t see anything from behind Kiyoko not were any of the club members were able to Hitoka as Kiyoko was blocking the entire figure of the tiny hamster like creature human being. All the attention of the club members turned towards Hitoka when Hinata pointed out Hitoka or her side single pig tail and the star rubber band she used to secure it. Everyone was looking or at least trying to take a look at who she was but none of them succeeded because of Kiyoko blocking the view of Hitoka from everyone.

‘Hitoka, oh Hitoka, what have you gotten yourself into’ she thought.Then she suddenly slapped her cheeks a little bit and made a tiny imaginary fighting pose.

Gathering all of her courage, she made a small peek from behind Kiyoko and took a glance at the team. Everyone were so... something which she couldn’t explain but they all looked scary, well she felt that mostly due to their height. When she took a proper glance at everyone after coming out from behind Kiyoko she found everyone scary except for a certain tangerine head and a blonde bang with brown spikes guy.The were short and were only a couple inches taller than her. She slowly relaxed and took a deep breath.

“Yachi hitok desu. Nice to meet you all. Please take care of me” she said bowing.

Everyone looked at Kiyoko for a second. Kiyoko signed and said “she will be your manager from next year so she is a manager in training right now”

Everyone were moved to tears and a certain baldie and a shortie jumped towards her yelling “kiyoko-san” well she avoided them swiftly as if she has quite some experience in doing this. The pair landed flat on their face outside the gym.

A particularly tall player with blond hair snickered at this and said “what a bunch of hopeless idiots.”

The pair quickly got up from the ground and the baldie yelled “Tsukkishima!! What did you just say?” accompanied by the shortie repeating the last part.

The team’s captain looked at this and said “stop it now. Don’t ruin your image in front of Yachi - san.”

Hitoka was shocked when she heard the young man whose appearance was not so cool but in fact was pretty average though he seemed scary when she looked at him.

“Hai” she yelled.

Daichi, the captain was taken aback at first and so was everyone else. She flushed and turned into a big red tomato.

‘I want to bury myself’ she thought.

The team ended up bursting in laughter. They found it so funny that even Tsukkishima snorted.

“Hello” said a tall quite intimidating guy with his hair tied into a bun and his little messy beard with appeared to be like it was shaved by someone who was not really in a mood to do it or didn’t know how to do it properly.

“Yes sir!” Hitoka blurted.

“Sir?” He asked. He could hear the first and the second years laughing their soul out and Daichi ( the captain) and Suga’s (the vice captain’s) typical ‘my condolences’ type of laughter.

“He is not a sir but a team member. He is Asahi who is in fact the ace of Karasuno Volleyball Team.” Suga said with a helpless smile in his face.

Hitoka shrieked and shouted “ Gomenasai”. But everyone shook it off.

She was introduced to everyone slowly but before Daichi could do that, the baldie- shortie due came running towards her and she ran away from them and hid behind Kiyoko. Kiyoko gave them a warning look and they couldn’t be any more obedient and tried their best controlling their curiosity.

Daichi laughed and introduced Asahi again. “Asahi Azumane, a 3rd year and the ace of the team.” She nodded.

“Off to the next person” he said and continued “this is Sugawara Koushi, the vice captain and one of the 2 setters in the team. Also a 3rd year...” he suddenly paused when he saw Hitoka’s dead inside out expression as she shrieked.

In response to her shriek Suga turned to look behind him in order to find out why she was so scared. He became so mad at the baldie shortie duo that he just pushed them aside by shoving them right in the face.

Daichi was also annoyed by their actions but still continued “the baldie is Tanaka Ryūnosuke and the shortie over there is Nishinoya Yuu”

She was quiet and she just nodded
