Nicolai stopped his car in front of a huge mansion, he just stayed there while looking at one particular terrace on the second floor..

His adopted father sent him with his Highness on this trip not just to be a bodyguard, they have another purpose by coming in this country and that is, to look for their beloved Princess..

The only Princess of Spain, the Princess who gave them a chance to live, the beloved Princess who saved them from their sufferings, the Princess who sunddenly disappeared 17 years ago..

They didn't expect that they will find her that easily and what's more shocking was the fact that she's the treasured beloved wife of the De Angelo's Young Lord..

Nicolai's phone rang and when he saw the caller id, he immediately answered it, knowing that he's probably raging right now..

"Your Highness.." Nicolai answered emotionlessly..

"Come back here this instant Jared Nicolai!! we're still not allowed to meet her!!" Hugo exclaimed in rage..

He really can't handle this man's stubbornness but what can he do, this block of ice is not one of his subordinate..

"I just want to see if Her Highness is fine.." Nicolai reasoned..

"Nico, this is not the right time yet!! I'm her eldest brother but I'm not acting recklessly like you!! she already got a lot on her plates and I badly want to be with her but I know that she's not ready yet.. Let's just give her some time, the more important thing is the fact that she recognized us.. She'll come to us eventually, let's just wait.." Hugo said seriously that made Nicolai to sigh in defeat..

"I understand Your Highness, I'm heading back now.." Nicolai said before ending the call..

He was about to start his car when he saw the boy from last night looking up at the second floor with a worried look..

He went out of the car and climb into the wall quietly, he hid behind the tree and just watched the boy..

"Little Young Master, what are you doing here outside?!" a maid ask worriedly and Nicolai climb to the tree without making a sound..

"Nothing.." the boy answered while still looking up..

Nicolai followed his line of sight and was shocked to see that the boy is actually staring at the Princess on the terrace..

"Say, how can I go and see her without being spotted by my mother and everyone else?!" the boy ask to the maid..

"Y--You want to see the Young Madame?!" the maid ask in utter shock..

"Yes, she looks like she's in a lot of pain when Daddy came home last night, I... don't want to see her like that.." the boy said with a frown that shocked Nicolai and the maid..

"Young Madame and eldest Young Master love each other so much that's why she's in a lot of pain right now because they didn't know about you.." the maid said with a small smile..

"If I leave this house, do you think she won't be sad anymore?!" the boy ask again that made the maid speechless..

"The Young Madame will be in a lot of pain more when you leave this house because of her, she will blame herself for sure.." a voice said out of nowhere and Nicolai saw Sven walking towards the boy..

"I want to talk to her but my mother won't allow me.. Daddy's wife look so beautiful when she smiles and I want to see her that way.." the boy said with longing in his eyes..

"How do you know how she looks like when she's smiling little Young Master?!" Sven ask..

"I saw her smiling before she saw us yesterday, she looks like an angel and I like it.." he said that shocked them..

Nicolai just stared at the boy being led by the maid and Sven inside the mansion before looking back at his Highness who's just staring blankly towards the sky..

Hugo kept waiting and waiting but Nicolai hasn't come back yet, he's starting to get worried now that he's not even answering his calls and messages..

He was about to call him again when there's a knock on his Hotel room, he looked at the security screen and was shocked to see her along with Nicolai..

He immediately opened the door and Carina immediately throw herself into him crying and that breaks Hugo's heart..

"Don't let anyone in as long as the Princess is here am I clear?!" Hugo ordered coldly..

"Yes, Your Highness!!" everyone answered before leaving the brother and sister alone..

Hugo went back to his room while Carina is still in his arms and Nicolai closed the door for them and followed suit..

"Royal Brother, I'm sorry..." Carina said after a few moments of silence..

"It's alright cupcake, you still remember us and it only means that you have your own reason why you didn't come back home.." Hugo said lovingly while caressing his beloved sister's head..

"Your Highness, can you please tell us what happened 17 years ago?!" Nicolai ask seriously..

"I luckily escaped from my kidnappers and the only thing I can think of that time is to run away from them as far as I can.. I was so lucky to be saved by Grandpa and told him what happened, he asked me if I want to leave Spain to hide for a while and that's when I decided to come here with him.. Grandpa didn't know that I'm a Princess, I only told him that I was kidnapped and he didn't ask for more, after changing my name, I met Elliott's family, they adopted me and sent me to study in a prestigious school abroad, got married and here I am now.." she said but the bitterness in her voice after saying her last words pierced their hearts..

"We didn't came here just to visit Elliott, we also came here to look for you and we were beyond shocked to know that the person that we were looking for is no other than Elliott's most treasured wife.. I really want to hugged you last night and bring you back home as soon as possible but I know that it was not the right time yet.." Hugo said with comforting smile..

"I've been telling your Knight that you will eventually come to us on your own but he won't listen to me.. The Hamilton's only heed your words not ours.." he teased and a light blush appeared on Nicolai's cheeks when he said that..

"We were still young that time but I promise you Your Highness, we can protect you now.." Nicolai said seriously..

"I know.. I've been hearing a lot of good things about you guys.." Carina said proudly that made Nicolai to smile..

"What's your plan now Erin?! Our Royal Father and Royal mother along with your two older brothers had been dying to see you again.. I haven't told them that we already found you coz I want to get your consent first before letting them know.." Hugo said seriously..

"Just give me some time to think things through Royal brother.. I still need to face my problems first.." she said sadly..

"I know but Erin.. Don't blame him that much, it happened even before you realized your feelings for him and vice versa.. Let me tell you one thing to ease your worries, Elliott had been in love with you since the very first time he saw you and because of the adoption thing, he kept his distance and became a womanizer behind everyone's back.. He did that because he's afraid that he will hurt you if he kept it all bottled up to himself, that's how important you are to him.." he said with a warm smile..

"I'm not blaming him Royal Brother, he doesn't even know the existence of his own child, I'm just hurt because the only thing that he wants the most was given by other woman and not me.. Isn't it unfair?! I'm his wife, I was the one who are supposed to give him a child but I failed and now, other woman did!!" her painful cries broke their hearts into a million pieces but they can't do anything to lessen her pains..

Nicolai just watched her quietly while clenching his fist, he will make those people who hurt her pay for what they did..
