Episode 5

Yuki is excited and confused on hearing this but agrees since he has no idea how to use a sword.

"Alright fr now on I will call you master but you have to teach me everything you know about the sword and make me a sword master".

"I like your spirit boy but teaching you all and know and becoming a sword master is not as easy as it sounds" miss Chen replied.

"I don't care I made it this far without a weapon and I'm not going to go easy now that I am about to get one".

"Okay training starts tomorrow at 6:00am better get here early because I don't take in slackers" miss Chen replied.

So Yuki and Yuki left the shop but on their way home Yukine still felt unsettled and asked Yukine.

"You never told me your last name before?".

"Well that's cause you never asked" Yuki replied.

"Well do you know anything about your dad or your last name at all".

"Not really, I mean my dad died when I was little but my mom told me that he was an accountant and he was at work when suddenly his work place exploded they still didn't know the cause of the explosion but I mean who cares is not like knowing the cause would bring him back😔". Yuki replied

"Oh am sorry to hear that"

"No problem, so why were you asking?" Yuki looked over to Yukine.

"Nothing I just thought that maybe I've heard that name before must have just been dejavu" Yukine replied.

"Seriously gods get dejavu too 😆😆😆 you really are more of an animal".

"I am a god you should kneel before me😡😡" Yukine replies.

Yuki and Yukine got home and decided to call it a day

so they could get up early to visit miss Chen.

That night Yuki had a dream were he saw his father holding his arm and walking on a thin layer of ice, he then suddenly fell in the ice and saw a sword then he woke up.

Then he checked his alarm and saw that he was 5mins late he hurried to take a shower and woke Yukine who was still mumbling in his dreams and he dashes over to miss Chen's store.

On his arrival he checked his watch and saw that it was already 6:15am. He slowly walked into the store and on opening the door he was knocked out with a book thrown by miss Chen.

"You're late, I told you to be early.

Yuki was still struck by his welcoming from a book and struggled to get up.

"I'm sorry I promise it won't happen again".

Miss Chen looks over to him and takes pity on him.

"It better not if not the lesson is over and you're fired. Now start by sweeping the store".

"But I taught you said you would start my sword training".

Miss Chen looks over at him again but this time with a sinister look on her face.

"Do you think I would pay you for teaching you or if you haven't forgotten I still have a business to run. When you're done come meet me down stairs".

"Okay ma'am" Yuki continues to sweep the shop wondering where that sweet old later he met yesterday went.

"She is nothing like she was yesterday, I guess she feels more free around her fellow demon slayers either that or she just puts on a take at when she first meets you then brings out the demon in her when she finally gets to know you".

Yuki is done cleaning the store and heads down to the basement where he sees miss Chen lighting some candles.

"Now for your first lesson on using a spirit sword you have to learn how to control it".

Miss Chen walks around Yuki and hand him a wooden sword.

"What you said you would teach me how to use a spirit sword".

"Do you think spirit swords grow on trees , for someone like you with no experience whatsoever you first have to learn how to handle a sword before you can even manifest your spirit form".

Yuki looks over to the wooden sword again.

"So given me a wooden sword would help me master a real sword you could've at least given me one of the real ones you keep hanged up there for display".

"Do you really think I would let you touch any of my weapons and also I don't you to mistakenly stab yourself with it".

"Fine so how to I control my sword cause I don't think it could go against me".

"To control your sword means to move it without making physical contact with but only by the use of spirit energy".

Miss Chen demonstrates by lifting her hand as Yuki see the sword from the shelf fly to hand.

"This is how you control a sword".

"Awesome, but how did you do that".

"All you have to do is to stretch out your spirit energy like tread till it reaches your designated target, you can basically use it to manipulate any other object that contains spirit energy but all you need to know now is how to handle a sword in battle".

"Okay this should be easy".

Yuki places the wooden sword on the table and tries to lift it but he couldn't even get the sword to shake off the table so miss Chen decided that he would start little and so she brought toothpick and told him to lift it.

"Is this suppose to be a joke of you had given me more time I could have lifted the sword".

"No it was my mistake for thinking you were ready for the wooden from now on we will start with your baby steps".

"sigh...fine".

Yuki tries again with the toothpick and this time manages to raise off the table and keep in the air for 5 seconds before it falls.

"In all my years I have never seen anyone who can't even keep a toothpick I'm the air for 5 seconds and you claimed to have fought a demon before so what have you been doing".

"I have been training my physical strength".

"What about your spiritual strength".

"Was I suppose too".

🤦😤"From now on you will work more on growing your spirit than your body okay".

"Okay".

"Meet me here tomorrow and we'll pick up from where we stopped".

"Okay".

Yuki left the store and went home where he saw Yukine still laying around on his bed.

"How was the training Yuki"

"It was alright, I mean I learnt telekinesis using spirit energy and now I can move toothpicks easily".

"snore...snore"

Yuki looks over to Yukine and seed that he was asleep and decides to hit the sack as well.
